Great workers and excellent work

Beware of Power Bound's billing minimums that are not communicated at the time of the reservation. The work done for us was a rip off and they were not apologetic in the least. Power Bound Electrical is not credible for smaller projects and will need to change their practices or communicate better with customers.

Power Bound gives fantastic service and he is an expert in his field. I highly recommend this company as being very reasonable in price, great in costumer service and people of integrity. I am a Real Estate agent and refer Power Bound to my clients and receive great reviews.

Great Team! Extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I have been working with Idyllwild Heating and Cooling for over a decade. They also designed and installed all of my heating and cooling systems when I was building new construction. Always responsive, and fair. I just had an emergency situation in Idyllwild and they showed up, gave me a professional consultation while still on the property and repaired everything. I highly recommend Idyllwild Cooling and Heating. Outstanding!

Very Professional and honest. I look forward to dealing with them in the future as well.

Called these people about a mini split. Had no idea what a mini split is. Very unprofessional manner. Don’t deal with these people unless you want to know the wrong way.
-
As always, these guys were super professional and just cool.
Fast, clean and cordial.
Thank you Idyllwild Heating! -
The owner is rude and picks and chooses his work not the first time he has treated my customers bad. I have sent several there because he seems to be one of the more professional companies with always a bad customer service experience.

Horrible , was told they couldnt even go to MTN.CENTER AT 243 AND 74. would never recommend them to anybody. After 1 month of false promises, the girl then sputtered they dont drive 6 miles in the community

It's a family business and top notch care if you have Fireplace or Furnace needs. Friendly, dependable with great service and the work is garenteed.
I highly recommend this business. -
Steve and ALL his team are top notch professionals. He treats his customers fairly and is always there for advice and recommendations. He's not just a local businessman, he's a neighbor and a friend!

When describing are houses we like to convey a feeling of pride of ownership, a welcoming sanctuary for family and friends, this stove has transformed a house devoid of a conversational piece ,into gallery showcasing a piece of art. My first encounter was in the showroom, greeted by Onai who's welcoming deposition had me at ease within minutes , I was then introduced to Steve who carried on like I was a neighbor and genuinely cared about some issues with the house I was having, I knew then I would be doing business with Idyllwild Heating and Cooling. Anyone who cares for people ,will put care into what there doing for you.Steve's advice and willingness to explain how my choices would be affected, have me sitting in a home warmed by a piece of art, made possible by friends with a warming nature. Thank you Steve,Onai, Mike, Martini,Tyler, and Kevin. The family can't wait to enjoy it. I would be happy to speak to anyone about this experience. Don't get me started on how much fun it is to play with. Happy Holidays

With snow falling and temperatures plummeting we woke up to a cold house with no heat. Steve sent Kevin to help us out. Seldom, if ever, have we met a such a polite and gracious technician. He analyzed the problem quickly, replaced the igniter and helped us get everything going again. Come to find out Kevin is an Idyllwild native. We are very fortunate. He also had our home's records on his phone which let him know what had been done in the past. And he helped put together this beautiful website. Thanks.....Kevin.

When I moved here last fall I had Kevin come out to turn on my Tree of Life gas stove. Not only did he turn it on but he thoroughly cleaned it and serviced another gas heater upstairs where he found a leak. He knows his stuff!
The best customer service I’ve ever encountered! -
It is with great regret that I am writing a negative review of a local small business. In September 2017 I contacted Steve at Idyllwind Heating and Cooling and asked him to come to my home and quote the insulation of a wood stove. He appeared on a Saturday morning as promised and looked at the job, a simple connect and then stove pipe though a ceiling and installation of the pipe on the roof. He informed me that my stove was not EPA approved so he did not want to connect it, but that he sold all the parts necessary to to the job. I asked if he would consider just doing the box/collar through the ceiling and pipe on the roof, because I wanted a professional to do the flashing so that it didn't leak and was installed correctly. He agreed to do the job and gave me a price for both parts and labor. He explained that he was busy that week and would try to get to it in the "next few weeks". On October 10th I called and spoke with Steve again and I asked when he would be doing the job. He state that he was still busy, "but soon". On October 13th I emailed him and ask for an invoice to prepay. I received no reply. On October October 31 I again emailed Steve and asked when he would be doing the job. On November 7th I personally spoke with Steve who said he
"had a customer change her mind on a big job that put us behind" but that he would do my job this week or early next week at the latest". He did not show up. On November 9th I spoke with Steve by telephone again and I asked him when he would do my job, at this point his statements became vague such as "Oh I know it's important" and ""It's on my schedule" but he refused to either tell me that he couldn't do the job, or tell me when he would be there. On November 20th I spoke with Steve again who stated that he could not do the job this week because "it's Thanksgiving" but that he would get to it next week. Today on November 27th I called and spoke to Steve and asked what day I could expect him to come do the job. His response was "I'm going to just take a deep breath" Due to the two month delay, I finally asked him directly, whether he was going to do the job. His reply was "I'm done with all of this......" and he hung the phone up on me.
I want local small business' to succeed. But when a business cannot be honest with customers, or show up to do work which they have promised, or treat people with decent courtesy, then they don't deserve success. I'm sure as the only local HVAC serviceman in the area that Steve will always have work, and maybe his work is great, I just wouldn't know because he never showed up to do the job he promised at my home. It was a terrible experience. Buyer beware. I'm sure Steve will have a different recollection of our conversations and/or more exscuses, however after the first time he didn't appear, I started to keeping detailed notes and I am confident in the accuracy of my times, dates and representations.
