Shan/Yard Design is everything you want in an architect to help you with your project. She has patience, insight, knows when to suggest, knows when to step back. She makes sure it is a collaborative process that realistically assesses the scope of the project. Besides the plans, she also handled the permit process with the City. Even though she is independent, she has connections and can make referrals for the next steps that are integral to seeing the project go from blueprint to reality. It is easy to recommend her and give her 5 stars.
