Tim arrived at our home ahead of schedule so that I could pick up may grandaughter from school. That in itself was impressive. But, what really impressed me was his knowledge of electrical systems and his ability to explain the whole problem solving process. In short order Tim was able to fix our flickering light(s) problem - and hopefully the problem will stay stay fixed for a long time to come.

Very professional and timely. Wore foot coverings to walk on my floors which I appreciated since it was pouring rain outside. Cleaned up debris from repair once the job was finished. Respectful and efficient, would recommend.

Got service from City First Electric through American Home Shield warranty. I have power plug and light out in 2 rooms and 1 toilet upstairs. I paid 100$ for the call. The technician shows up and after 15 min goes away saying that he cannot find anything and cannot do more and they need to open drywall to find the short. Insurance informed this is not covered. I check by myself the and find a short in an electrical box in the corridor to the rooms, that of course has not been checked. Not professional and just take the money for the call and then try to charge for a bigger job not needed.

My experience with City First Electric was very good! They sent a technician Pedro he was the BEST very efficient, fast, and professional! Big Kudo's to him and the entire City First Electric!

We had issues with our upstairs ceiling fan not working. Thru our home warranty service City 1st Electric was assigned to come and evaluate and make repairs. City 1st Electric called us promptly and set up an appointment. Pedro was the technician that was assigned the job. Unfortunately I don’t know his last name. He came early for the repairs even driving from Long Beach. He diagnosed the problem and said we needed a new fan. He had one in his work van to replace with, lot better than the original. He completed the repairs in a quick manner and was careful not to make a mess even tho it was over the bed which made it a pain. I’m very happy with the work that Pedro completed, he was professional, polite, and all around nice guy. City 1st Electric I highly recommend their services ! A++

Home warranty sent them out and they were excellent. They communicated well, showed up on time, resolved the issue. Would recommend them them to others.

Unethical company in cahoots with the home warranty company who obligates their use. Requested service to fix a ceiling light. In the process of fixing the light, the technician Tim damaged the light fixture and was not able to re-install it properly.

Prior to service, the light fixture was flush against the ceiling. After service, the light works but the fixture dangles lose from the ceiling and looks tacky.

I pointed this out to Tim and he said he couldn't fix it. Not their problem. Home warranty was useless in resolving. So they literally damaged my light fixture installation then refused to fix it. You could tell Tim wanted to do the bare minimum and had awful bedside manner. Would not recommend

It was a pleasant experience to set up the appointment & easy to work with. the technician. There was a text 30 mins before his arrival to give a heads up. He quickly attended to the problem and resolved it. The tenant was satisfied with all the repairs.

I feel very lucky that City First Electric was contracted to me through my home warranty. I needed two outlets repaired, and not only did City First reach out to me and send someone within 24 hours, he fixed the problem on the spot without any need for followup. He was also extremely nice. Can't recommend this business highly enough.

Our one-and-only remote which controls our whole house fan is on the brinks. Through our home warranty, Tim from City First Eletric came today to inspect the situation as we were not even able to provide the make/model of the fan/ remote as it sits in the attic. Tim quickly and efficiently got into the attic, assessed the situation and proposed a solution of the alternative types of replacement controls/ remote we can use. Still in the midst of fixing the problem but want to thank both Tim and First City Electric for their professionalism and quick response!

I got them assigned from my AHS to fix my circuit breaker tripping when AC is running. They gave me an appt after 3 days. I requested for an early appt for which they agreed to call me next day. Surprisingly nobody calls and when i called them back on my appt day to confirm timing, they didn't have anything on calendar. Now they ask me to wait another 4 days because somehow it was my fault to request an early appointment since they are too busy.

Horrible company. Home warranty sent them out to review why outlets weren't working. The technician determined it was a short, but then told home warranty it was because of damage we did for some reason? We did nothing of the sort, I have no idea why the technician said this. Honestly I think they were just being lazy and didn't want to do the work.

OUTSTANDING customer service. The while left side of my home went out, called my insurance they sent over city first and Angel came in and found the issue and fixed everything. He was professional a d friendly. I really appreciated his service. Thank you.

Really glad I had it sorted. Before that, some switches would only work if I pressed them a certain way which was getting annoying. They replaced the faulty switches around the house and everything feels more responsive now.

Securuty guard

Called about an outlet not working. Gave all my information and then the guy says they can't help me with this issue. Not as in, not today, just can't help you. Really? Isn't this the most basic and common problem?

I highly recommend this team. They installed all my GFCIs without any issues and were very dependable throughout the process.
