I've been hesitant about getting solar panels, especially when I'd get stopped by sales reps at Home Depot or Costco. I'd get intrigued but then Google reviews would show their customer service is terrible. Orme Solar is different. Leanne's mission is transparency and customer service. I truly felt like she had my best intentions and gave me options that made sense for me and my family. I'm so glad my friend recommended this company to me. I rarely write reviews but I just had to this time.

We noticed a significant change in our power bill. We had ForMe Solar out to do a diagnosis. We found over half of our panels had firmware that not updated. Within 2 hours all of our panels were up and working.

Nick was so helpful to us during our research into solar for our house. I had 8 quotes for my home and narrowed it down to Forme Solar. Their personal consultation and confirmation of the benefits for my home was informative. But the greatest part was that they were also the lowest priced. Nick helped confirm that the solar package I was leaning towards was complete and a great choice and I wasn't overlooking something. We ended up going solar thanks to Forme Solar.

Been worrying about our electricity bills, and had called Forme Solar Electric to come out to see what they could do about my home. Bobby was professional and set up a call explaining my quote and answering all of my questions about solar and batteries. They were able to figure out how to design my solar system to match my $200/mo electricity bill. I was kinda nervous moving forward with the process, but they made sure to answer all my questions. They kept me updated with emails, and plenty of phone calls. From the permit process, installation, inspection, monitoring, dealing with SCE they took care of everything. 5 STAR SERVICE for the quality of work they did and the peace-of-mind they provided. After another year of savings we now plan on getting a Tesla Powerwall for our home. Customer service was top notch.

If you want an honest and reliable solar company I would recommend ORME any day! They have customized our proposal to fit our family’s needs without any of the bells and whistles. Loved working with every member at ORME. I’ve called a few companies in LA and I decided to go with this company because of the fact that they were just amazing in every aspect. We highly recommend them for solar installation. Their warranty is excellent and their service was reliable. Most importantly we are saving on our electricity bill, even with the cost of the system our monthly payments are lower.

They installed our system a year ago. They continued to monitor that it was performing properly. After a power outage our panels stopped working but they came out and fixed the issue right away. Our system is working well and we look forward to many more years of continued savings.

These guys have been great since I started working with them. I needed a second opinion on some changes to my current solar system, since the company I installed with ghosted me after the install was done.

They were incredibly insightful, honest, and knowledgeable about their product and solar in general. They're not just about the sale, they want their customers to be happy with the solutions they provide. The original installer I had promised me things that I later learned were impossible with the system they gave me. Forme Solar went into extensive detail as to why this would be impossible, and what they would have done differently to make it possible. Working with their customers every step of the way was one of those things.

I can't speak personally to their quality of installs, since I only got a consultation with them. But I can say for certain, after talking with them, they know what they're doing and will provide you with something you'll definitely be happy with.

I fully intend to use them for my next property soon. I'll be sure to update this review with more details after it's all done, with pictures to boot :).

I was referred to Forme Solar from people at my wife's work. We had a pretty positive experience. Their communication was good throughout and they addressed my concerns quickly. The price was good and I was able to tailor the number of panels and the type to what fit my needs and budget. They always came on time. No complaints.

Got several proposals for a solar energy system. Does everyone else get spammed like crazy by solar companies? Had a terrible experience initially with the sales process but was able to find a provider I trusted at a price I could afford. Orme offered me the best proposal across 6 different companies.

The greatest highlight was their follow up. They made sure to keep me updated with what was going on, the permitting process, and when the installers would arrive.

Received the best service from Donny with Forme!! He communicated well, explained what was going on with my solar system and also what steps he would take to remedy the issue with our panels. I would recommend anyone needing quality work and service, use this company and ask for Donny! If I have any problems in the future, I will ask for him again!

I had an issue with the solar we have. Cable got disconnected. The company installed is out business but thanks to ForMe Solar especially the customer service peoples and Omar the technician. The technician-Omar showed up in timely manner and fixed my 20 panels expeditiously. They are highly recommendable. I wish that there is like maintenance people that will check my 20 panels in various time.

Omar did an excellent job. Highly recommendable company!

Our system was just activated! We looked on Yelp at a few different solar installers near us. We ended up picking Orme Solar to put LG solar panels on our roof. We had an upfront cost that allows us to breakeven after 6 years. Afterwards, no electricity bills! Happy we went with Orme Solar, they gave me a detailed proposal telling me what equipment they were installing, how much it would cost, impact on my electric bill and when I should expect a payback. The install team was friendly and professional. Appreciated that they took the time to clean up properly as well. They made the whole process very easy and even gave me the necessary tax documents to get my 30% tax credit.

Short Version: Look no further. Best service, value, and quality for your solar project. Highly recommend!

Long version: Seriously Impressed! I am writing this review after having had our solar system installed for a couple weeks now.
My initial search for a solar company started late last year. Our family realized we weren't going back to the office or school anytime soon and so our electric bill continued to stay above $250. We decided it was time to look at our options.
Some of our friends had gotten their solar system from other companies and sent us their recommendations. I also went on EnergySage, and of course Yelp to get a few more.
In total I looked at several vendors and compared them side by side. This meant making sure they quoted the same brand of panels (we opted for REC370 Alpha series), the same size system, and offered the same warranty. I got quotes as high as $42k (Sun Energy...wth right? outrageous proposal!). This is why it's so critical for you to do your research and make sure you get multiple bids.
Anyhow we chose Forme because their reviews were top notch, their communication friendly and prompt, and their price was competitive if not the best out of the bunch.
Our service representative Bobby was always available when we had any questions. I liked that everything was digital so we were able to sign documents online too. Everything from start to finish was a breeze, they sent me the design over email to review and approve, they handled all the permits from the city, paperwork with SCE, and on day of install they made sure to clean up and not leave any debris around once they were all done. The Forme team was always respectful and followed covid protocols by wearing masks too.
My only concerns were they don't always communicate with you on the time for when they will show up. I had to text Bobby or Terry for things like when the electrician would arrive, or when the stucco was going to be repaired, etc. But honestly this was MINOR compared to the grand scheme of things because they really did a great job on our install. I looked closely at the installation work and it's all very clean and professionally done. No weird wires, no discolored pipes, no odd or ends sticking out, just a really well done install that any home owner can be proud of.
At the end of it and in line with social distancing protocols, nick conducted a zoom meeting with my husband and I so we could learn how to use the app to see our energy production. He showed the different layouts and various ways of looking at the data.
I'm very pleased with Forme and would not hesitate to recommend or refer them to anyone! They're a great company and I'm happy with how our solar system project turned out. Thanks Forme!
