We’ve had the pleasure of working with Mariposa Landscapes Inc. on several ongoing projects at CSUSB. I personally worked closely with their team to coordinate a tree giveaway event for our campus community in November 2025.

Edgar Garibay, Alonso Garcia, and Ricardo Escobedo were incredibly attentive and responsive both leading up to and throughout the event. They helped coordinate the delivery of the sponsored trees and ensured they were of the highest quality. Ricardo was also present on the day of the event to provide support, capture photos, and answer any questions that came up.

Thanks to their support, we were able to provide trees to our students, staff, and faculty, making a meaningful impact on our campus. Overall, my experience with their team has been consistently positive—they are reliable, communicative, and committed to quality work.

One of Mariposa landscaping truck knocked off the mirror on my vehicle. Trying to handle it respectfully we exchanged phone numbers but the non-English speaking driver(actually did not speak at all) did not give me his insurance but gave me his phone with his boss on the line. After 3 weeks the Mariposa staff does not return phone calls nor have they talked to me or return text. Good luck dealing with them they present like a shady company. I would not trust them. After 3 weeks still waiting for them to see if they will fix my car meal that was knocked off at the scene.

This company has done a beautiful job of landscaping at Finkbiner Park. Very impressed!

This is the LADPW contractor who was witnessed clear cutting mature native legally protected black walnut trees in a labeled and tended children’s garden in Elysian Park. Take accountability my guys!

This california-based company mailed a photocopy of a check for one of their employees to my home by mistake. I paid them the courtesy of a phone call to let them know of the error. I honestly can't say what I expected from them; but I felt the employee would appreciate receiving the document. When I called a very courteous and professional lady informed me their payroll processor was at lunch but she would inform her of the call. I received a call back 30 minutes later from an equally courteous and professional lady who thanked me profusely for taking the time to bring it to their attention. Wow! True professionalism.

was contracted by the city and did a horrible job. took them 2 weeks (with 3 full days over these weeks) to trim trees on ONE BLOCK, causing immense noise pollution, traffic, environmental pollution and inconvenience to our neighborhood. extremely slow, do not seem organized, and lack an effective tree trimming strategy and removal process with little regard for the people their work impacts.

Abraham did a good job. He answered questions I had regarding the lawn.

My wife was home at the time they came to service our lawn. They explained how to care for our lawn after the over seeding and aeration she said they were polite.

Been fighting this Clover all year. Can't get rid of it comes up in an abundance and when they treated the lawn it's 2 or 3 days already and it's really dying and I hope it doesn't come back thank you I'm really impressed

Krystle S did a good job applying the lawn food and applying the weed killer. She was very knowledgeable in lawn care and gave a detailed explanation in what she applied today.

I recently had a problem with my shrubs and I contacted TruGreen. They were very responsive to my issues and sent a shrub expert to examine the problem. I have found the same to be true for any lawn problems that I may have had in the past.

He got here early and took care of what was needed. I asked a few questions and he was very thoughtful it answering my questions.

I have been a TRUGREEN customer for many years. I mow, but TRUGREEN takes care of the weed control, fertilizer, and grub control. My neighbors continually comment on how much better my lawn looks than theirs. Henry Marshall was the tech. for my last treatment. Henry took the time to talk with me both before and after the application. He was patient as I ask questions, and answered in a way that I understood.
