I called Bill Powers on a weekend and he responded right away to make an appointment that worked for me. He sent Chris, an experienced electrician to look at my outdoor GCFI issues. Chris was on time, professional and very pleasant. He was able to fix what turned out to be a more complicated than usual issue. I’ll definitely call on Powers Electric again.

I called Powers Electric on a Sunday without power in my house. Bill dispatched Chris, who was at the house in less than two hours despite being in the middle of another project an hour away. Chris showed up, diagnosed my problems in a few minutes, then set about obtaining the parts I needed and installing them. Bill and Chris were both shining examples of professionalism, friendliness, and competence, solving my issue quickly and at a fair price. I'd definitely hire this team again in the future.

My electricity went out yesterday. I was having problems w/my generator so was pretty sure it had to do w/that. I called Powers Electric and spoke w/Bill. He was out w/in 30 minutes. He checked the circuit box and said everything seemed to be ok. He thought it might have to do w/the generator. I have power now but am still getting the generator checked out. I am so grateful that I got to meet Bill and will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician. He is on my speed dial now. Thank you Bill!

I love having a professional electrician close by that returns my phone calls, arrives when he says and most of all analyzes the problem and fixes it. Bill repaired a radiant floor heating problem last year. This time we needed help figuring the cause of a tripped outside electric outlet. Bill came to check it (no repair needed) and then took time to discuss what possibly tripped it . No charge for his time! I too have Powers Electric on my first to call list.

Bill was awesome, we called him on a Saturday and he was able to come and access what we had going on within a few hours of calling. We followed up with him the following week and even tho he was pretty busy he was able to come out and complete the work we needed done. Very professional and over all a really cool guy. He was able to simplify our problems and with his experience and knowledge suggest great alternative ideas that we ended up deciding to do. I am a diy kinda of guy but if I ever have any electrical work I don't feel comfortable with I will definitely be giving him a call. Definitely will suggest to family and friends

We had powers electric come in and do our recessed lighting. Bill came in was very professional, and his worker guy was easy on the eyes for sure. I will definitely be having him back to do the rest of the lighting in my house. Bill Powers has been so helpful to me more than once. He assisted me when I couldn't find the breaker box that had tripped at my place of work and walked me through the steps late at night. More recently, he took a call from my husband to help us when our Solar Gateway system went down and took our whole house off grid (during this current heatwave), and came out at midnight to troubleshoot. His team is kind & reliable and is my go-to electrician moving forward. His prices for emergency services are the best I've found as well. I 100% recommend Powers Electric!

Five stars is not enough to rate Powers Electric. Called this morning at 10:00 am spoke with Bill about an issue with a GFCI outlet that was causing several outlets and lights to be out of service. He arrived within 2 hours as promised and resolved the issue completely. Bill is extremely professional, personable and gets the job done right. I would not hesitate to recommend Powers Electric to anyone who needs an electrical issue resolved. They will be our go to service provider for all things electric going forward.

8/20/25 Once again I called Powers electric because I needed some help wiring a new oven. He asked for pictures so he could see what the issue was. He walked me through some fixes and after a day of him giving me advice the oven was installed. He never had to come and look at it. How often do you get that out of a business owner? Usually you are charged just for them to come out and look and then given an estimate. Powers just walked me through how to fix my issues over a few texts, free of charge. He is always looking to help out and save his customers money. (1st experience)called Powers Electric at noon on a Saturday and he arrived at my house by 3pm that day. I was amazed that he not only worked on Saturday but arrived so fast.
After a quick diagnosis ,it was discovered that I had a bad GFI outlet which was fixed in about an hour.
Fast, friendly, and reasonable price. I would highly recommend Powers Electric.

First experience with Powers Electric was great! We called at almost 9 PM on a Saturday for an electrical issue that was a safety concern. They were at my house in 20 minutes and were not only able to make sure it was safe, but found and fixed the problem another electrician said didn’t exist. I can’t say enough good things.

Bruce is great. He is always coming out quickly and checking our propane - communicates clearly - keeps us up and running when we aren’t paying attention to how much propane we have left.
