-
Great choices, but a fairly good selection of plants, and very helpful folks.

Spent 45 minutes in the Garden Center and never saw a single HD employee. We could have used some help... but nobody to ask.

My experience was very good at the Garden Center at the Home Depot in La Habra on the day I went I didn't realize but the sale that I had gone there to take advantage of had expired the day before however when I was looking for the product I ran into what I didn't know at the time was the store manager I want to say his name was Phil but I don't recall exactly however he found the product for me he's an extended the sale price so that I could realize that savings I find that to be Stellar customer service and I feel he should be commended show my experience was very good I hope yours is too

I am a regular at Home Depot in the garden centers. I'm located in North OC so I do go to the ones around me. I will say that the Anaheim Hills location and La Habra garden centers a more unique. (In my experience I've found different plants that I've not seen in the 6 stores remember I said north OC) Not all locations get the same batches. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

Home Depot, La Habra, Takes the "ugh" out of every project, mishap...I like going there...even if my purchase means I have work to do when I get home.
Honestly, In all of my La Habra Store experiences (possibly 75-100, I hate to think!), every single experience has been positively pleasurable.
I have a lot less help when I get my purchase home. (Sorry, Hun.)
Seriously, no matter what I need: from power tools to plumbing, mulch to mailboxes, curtain rods to concrete... there is always someone to help.
And, if a sales rep more knowledgable in that particular department is necessary to consult to make the right choice, that person is a radio request and usually less than 1 minute away.
Re: Customer Service Desk: Fantastic, Re: Exchanges: Great Re: Cashiers: Friendly & efficient Re; Self-Checkout: No hassle. Even if things do not go well, assistance is immediate.
I cannot think of a place I would rather shop, especially for my DIY needs.
I highly recommend. -
They did not have creeping charlie's, but the garden worker although he was a temporary worker, did know what they were. He even showed me a picture on this phone, so I was happy with that!

Hugo and his crew performed admirably. I recommend his services to everyone

Unreliable. I had made an appointment for an estimate for lawn service and we confirmed the day and time. Well, he didn't show up and didn't call me back to reschedule. I sent them a message and no response. I called directly and no apology for missing the appointment. I know times are tough, but professionalism is still important.

Hugo Luna started mowing my lawn about a year ago after he fixed my sprinkler system and did a wonderful job. I asked if he wanted to do my lawn care he agreed to the job and did both the front and backyard as agreeded but for some unknown reason stopped mowing my backyard and the weeds are now about shoulder high which will probably cost me a lot of money for another company to fix. So if you decide to use Hugo Gardening good luck hope you have a better experience.

I found Hugo, his wife and crew to be friendly and professional. They went above and beyond in a timely manner and charged a fair price. They appropriately trimmed our bushes and trees as well as planted new bushes and flowers in planter areas. Hugo also fixed and corrected our sprinkler system. An added perk, they brought us delicious, authentic Mexican food at no cost to me.

Hugo and his team are some of the kindest and helpful people i have ever met, we needed a ton of work on our front yard.begining with sprinkler system, new grass, drainage, mulch, rocks pretty much a total layout transformation. From start to finish Hugo understood the assignment, gave suggestions and helped us stay within our budget. they knocked out the work all the while checking in with the progress. We are so happy with the way everything turned out, many thanks to this awesome team, for their honesty, hardwork, and professionalism

If I could leave zero stars, that would be more accurate. He came and gave and estimate then billed me for almost twice the amount. I wouldn’t recommend or trust him! Thumbs down!!

Very clean. Great selection. Staff was polite and helpful. Pricing was in-line with what you would expect from an actual nursery vs a garden center at a hardware store.
-
Very good selection of plants and supplies, and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Like other Armstrong locations, it is also set up in a way that makes it pleasant to browse and gives you ideas for planting combinations and landscaping. I would give it five stars except that I think it is a bit overpriced.
-
Gorgeous plants, polite employees, good selection, but super expensive prices. Maybe worth it to some, but I have no problem shopping around to find a better price for the same or better plant/product.
-
Helpful staff. They had vegetable plants that other places didn't. Great variety of seeds also

Went here with my mom-in-law to pick up a certain type of plant. $8.99 each. She wanted to go for the senior discount to save 10%. The selection was low for a common plant and they did not look great.
After, we went to HD to pick up some more. No discount... only $6.99 each.
Please be aware that you are losing customers for common plants. Yes, you have some things that others do not carry, but Star Jasmine should not be $8.99 for a one gallon plant that does not have bright green foliage. -
My experience at Armstrong Garden Centers was quick and easy thanks to Mark. He met me at the register and walked me through the entire store until I found what I needed. He was knowledgeable about plant care, product and seasons. He was very kind. The prices are comparable to Home Depot, but the variety of garden products (specifically pots) was more broad.
Everthing turned out pretty sweet. I know my wife will love it. Thanks for the help, Mark! -
Many intriguing varieties of plants flourish at Armstrong. They had “Illumination” a hybrid developed from foxglove to brighten up the garden.
Music floods the atmosphere and a Spanish Guitar strumming played and we heard bubbling fountains and the resident hummingbird.
Armstrong also carries plants, pots and soil out to the car and provide liners (Free). They included “lady bugs” this spring.
The roses are pruned and poppies had many buzzing bee visitors. Thanks to Tammy and the team. New management here.
