Constraction reviews in La Jolla, California

This company has the kindest and most supportive employee crew I’ve ever seen. I recently suffered a stingray attack and was fortunate enough to receive assistance from two employees named Cowboy and Kyle. I had no ability to walk, and they transported me from the beach to the top of the cliffs where our car was located. Obviously this is not a review of their company’s service but I have to shout them out and support them somehow. I looked through their service photos and they look quite fantastic in my opinion. A huge thank you to them and I hope their time spent at this company and the rest of their lives are amazing.

I have been trying to get some information about a project they did for my family years ago for tax purposes. All I needed was an estimate and I have called over a DOZEN times with NO response from anyone. The only person who ever answered the phone once was their office manager, Sky, and she said she’d look into and call me back. I have never received a call back and have given up at this point. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Do NOT use this company.

GDC Construction did an amazing job on my home remodel! Super professional, great communication, and everything turned out exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their home!

Ive been trying to contact this company with no success. Ive seen their advertisements in the La Jolla Light stating they not only do new construction and remodeling but a multitude of other property maintenance services. I have called the three times and get voice mail every time and when the message ends it hangs up. I've also sent two messages via their contact page and no response. I will not be using them as if they can't even return messages or create a way to in take new business, I can only imagine what their other services are like. They missed some big projects. Hopefully their competitors are more receptive to new business.

I recently hired GDC Construction to remodel my home and they did an excellent job. Their team was professional, attentive to detail, and the final result far exceeded my expectations. I’m very pleased with the workmanship and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality home renovations.

GDC did an incredible job on my remodel. From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and truly cared about every detail. They listened to my ideas, offered creative suggestions, and kept the project moving smoothly. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything came out even more beautiful than I imagined. I’m beyond thrilled with the results and proud to show off my home. If you’re looking for a builder who blends skill, design, and great communication, I can’t recommend GDC enough!

GDC Construction transformed our Point Loma property into the modern surf shack of our dreams. Their team nailed the coastal-contemporary vibe we wanted with clean lines, natural materials, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow perfect for our beach lifestyle. Professional crew, stayed on schedule, and their attention to detail was impressive. They handled everything from structural changes to the finishing touches. Highly recommend for anyone doing new construction or a remodel in San Diego!

Good work, clean and careful.

Outstanding work with fantastic results, on both interior (flooring, bath tiling, plumbing, etc.) and exterior (landscaping, custom fountains, etc.) projects. Very personal and professional. No hesitation in this strong recommendation.

I had water that was getting in through my upstairs when it rained. Nolan came out after talking on the phone with me. He had already given me an idea what it would cost. He looked at everything and explained what was going on. We did have to add more work as the project went on but I was very confident that he was making sure it was getting done correctly. There was always good communication of when members of his team were going to be doing work. Everyone was nice and treated me and my home with care. Thank you for a job well done.

Nolan and Beyond Natural Build did a great job on remodeling my 2 bathrooms. He was knowledgeable, patient, and hard working. If I ever need additional work, I will be calling him.

We would like to express our gratitude to Nolan for installing a beautiful, high-quality wood floor in our house. His work was truly amazing! We highly recommend Nolan's construction services.

Nolan and company always show up on time and always finish the job. For over 6 years they have done excellent work laying tile and flooring, remodeling my shower, painting my interior and building a wheelchair ramp. I highly recommend for any of your repair or remodeling needs.

Nolan
Did an amazing renovation of our bathroom. He was very honest and upfront about everything. We enjoyed working with them. I highly recommend his company to anyone who is thinking of upgrading or remodeling!! Thanks Nolan

Nolan has done several jobs for us involving plumbing, rehanging grinding and vibrating doors, easing hardwood floors that began to buckle. There’s more,,, All done in a timely and professional manner. We don’t hesitate to recommend him. In fact he is doing a project for us as I write this
