Closes before they are supposed to. Wouldn’t let me pay my damn bill takes two seconds. Very rude about it also. 6pm is 6pm.

Extremely pleased with the result. House was brownish/yellow and we had it painted white. Every detail was taken care of and the result is incredible. Crew professional, always on time and in my opinion went above and beyond to ensure a perfect result!

We are repeat customers and, as always, King of the Painters did a beautiful paint job on our Normal Heights house! The house looks great. We were content with the old color scheme but when Bob came out for our color consultation he made some recommendations and we went with them; we couldn't be happier. The new color scheme is only subtly different but I feel it really helps the curb appeal. The foreman and workers were very professional and the work performed is exceptional. I tried to show some of the stucco repairs to some friends and they couldn't figure out what I was pointing at. The repairs were so masterfully completed and blended with the existing work they were literally invisible. The house looks new, I would absolutely use King of the Painters again if I needed something painted.

We hired King of the Painters to paint several rooms in our house a few years ago. We were extremely pleased our experience. Bob is great about offering suggestions without being pushy. Everyone--office staff, carpenter, project manager and the paint crew--were polite and professional. They communicate well, do what they say they are going to do, and are really concerned about customer satisfaction. And, the paint crew was fabulous about cleaning up after themselves!

This company is a finely tuned machine as evidenced by service from start to finish! Joey our estimator was was prompt every time and came out and helped me get in the ballpark of the right main body house color right off the bat (I had been playing with samples for a month or two before him and wasn't coming close).The work was scheduled easily with the main office - coordination for lead testing easy and taken care of with a simple scheduling phone call.

At the start of the actual work our foreman Alberto was incredibly personable, clarified the scope of work appropriately when needed, and was detailed oriented. On time start EVERY SINGLE DAY. Probably the easiest experience with contractors I've had so far in renovating this house. Small amount of damage with one of our travertine pavers occurred (no big deal this stuff happens) but it was promptly corrected and repaired. You can really tell he puts pride in each job.

A+ for promptness, quality of work, incredibly friendly employees, good value, ease of coordination. Thanks for such a good experience - will be trusting other jobs to you all in the future.

My husband and I decided to finally have the exterior of our home painted. Through recommendations from friends and neighbors we decided to go with King of the Painter's. When calling to get an estimate I was met with a very friendly staff! Leah in particular was wonderful in working with us and our schedule. Bob Lyon, our Estimator, is also the owner of the company. We had some idea of what we wanted but Bob really helped us to understand how best to bring our "vision" to fruition. From the moment the crew arrived, to completion of the project, we were VERY pleased. The Foreman of the crew was very receptive and accommodating to any changes we made along the way. Also, there was a lot of care taken to protect our landscaping around the house. Which we tend to be a bit picky about. All in all the project was quite seamless. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any painting needs you may have. 5 stars from us!

Just completed a large exterior paint project at my home in North Park. We have an older home, with lots of wood that needed significant prep work. The crew was extremely professional, on time, and did a phenomenal job! The whole job took over three weeks due to all of the detail involved in painting the siding, the deck, and all of the trim/windows. The guys were excellent! Multiple neighbors commented to me on how hard they were working, and how impressed they were with the attention to detail. Not the cheapest bid that we obtained, but as they say, “you get what you pay for!” Very pleased with King of the Painters, and we will certainly hire them again in the future!

For anyone who needs a recommendation. King of Painters!!! We live in a log home that has never been finished the way it should until now. The quality work, people, and professionalism are as outstanding as their final product. AMAZING

It's hard to find a company whose work ethic is so outstanding- King of the Painters is such a company. The crew was friendly, professional and thorough. It was a pleasure having them around. Their work was just as promised, and the couple of small areas that needed attention were fixed promptly and properly. The house looks fabulous! I highly recommend King of the Painters!!!!!

King of the Painters did a repair job on a stucco wall damaged by a car that lost control while doing wicked burnies in front of our house. Once I got over my initial frustration with teenage stupidity, I called King of the Painters. They had done some paint/stucco work for us in the past and I wasn’t sure if this particular repair was up their alley, but Alex was out within a couple of days and made everything right at a great price. Thanks!

5/15/20 Update: I'm happy to say the King of the Painters did an excellent job today at completing the final touches on the project. Mike arrived and applied a third color to the garage doors, greatly enhancing the wood effect (photo attached). He agreed that when he drove up he could barely see any depth to the doors. There were two other workers with him who reapplied paint to the surrounding walls to clean and cover some areas. Thanks King of the Painters!

4/29/20: After getting 3 quotes from various painting companies to paint the exterior of our home, we decided to hire King of the Painters. They are on the more expensive side but provided the most professional sales pitch and documentation. They started the project in late March 2020 and estimated 6-7 days for the project. We met the owner of the company for color consultation, and he showed us a picture of the "wood effect" they would apply to our garage doors. In the picture it looked amazing, but in reality the effect fell short. It looks like it was just painted a solid color with slight shading. We asked for more of the effect on the day they applied the paint, and even showed them sample pictures of what we wanted, but they said "less is more" and recommended against any changes. We called the KOP employee who did the garage doors and he said he could come by in a week but we have not heard from him since (5/15/20 Update - he called a couple weeks later). Plus, when we talked to him he said there is a risk that if we add more paint, the effect may be ruined and they would have to start over, with a change order charge to us.
The crew was rushed to finish on a Friday after working 7 days. However, there was still some final touches and cleanup that needed to be done. After the crew left, we noticed several issues, including the lack of wood effect on the garage doors, and paint spots on floors, pavers, garden lights, pots and plants. The end of the project could have been handled better.

King of Painters did an excellent job, their team is very nice + professional and my house looks great. My house is over 100 years old and needed a lot of work. Best of all 2 years later we had a little peeling and they fixed it without a hassle. They honored their warranty. I highly recommend this company.
