Swimming Pool Contractor reviews in Lafayette, California

Great Landscaping service

Will only do major projects. I was turned down for a custom water wall.

Hello every one I want to recommend these guys to all with great and friendly service. Carlose and Malory very good their job and they made our dream backyard come true thank you so much for both of you . You guys are awesome 😊😊😊

I have worked with Arreola multiple times for the last 15+ years and their team has always done an amazing job! I'm completely satisfied and will continue to hire and recommend their company!

Great company! I have used them twice on different properties and we were very happy with both. They took were able to re-create an old beaten up outdoor space and create our dream sanctuary! Malrie Champion is a gifted design artist and project manager. She is patient, very knowledgeable and quick to respond. This team designs and executes the most beautiful outdoor spaces! They stand by their work and I would not hesitate to hire them again!

Working with Malrie and Carlos has been a fantastic experience. We had a fairly large job (~5k sq ft) and they handled everything from the design to execution. Very easy to work with, patient, and knowledgeable. They were highly recommended by a friend and I completely agree. Superb work.

This company knows nothing about zoning and building codes, fire codes, cilvil codes of state, county and city levels that they are required to follow. They tried to get a permit but city did not approve for their vacant lot development plan without having a primary residence on it and following zoning and building codes. Now they are doing work without a permit. Because CA has fire hazard regions with high risk of wildfire and erosion, as a landscaping company owner, Carlos should respect the Zero code state has already adapted for vegetation and zoning & building code that each city enforce. I spoke with Carlos, but he said he does not care the codes. This is the kind of companies that create a cause of wildfires in CA and leave thousands of other home owners suffer from losing home insurance. Don't trust them if you don't want to get a trouble later.

PS. The company's response is another evidence of dishonesty. The zoning & building permit is still incomplete.
After our security camera captured about 50 shots like the one attached, invading our privacy taking video and photos by climbing our fence, also hanging around our gate with sharp cutting tools and looking into our windows, taking photos into our windows, and trespassing our property, our city and county police officers told us to get restraining order on them by submitting these photos and then temporary order was granted by the county court . The court hearing determines if the order should be extended to permanent by making judgment on whether the violence was on-going issue during the order. The judge clearly stated that it has to be "physically" violent enough and has to be ongoing. Their car chasing us and our son was not violent enough. This company's response by changing the subject to totally separate event at totally different time (harassment to us) to avoid the points on them is another evidence that the wise clients may not want to be involved with such business. The county requested to combine the empty land with the main house on the separate land to do the construction that has not been done. Making up false excuse for personal attack is not acceptable.

Malrie and Carlos are a fantastic duo. They bring years of design creativity and knowhow to transform landscape into experiences. Very responsive, responsible and reliable company. We couldn't be more pleased.

Arreola Landscape and Pool are top in their field. I have hired them multiple times in the past for design work and landscape redesign work. I have never been disappointed. Their attention to detail and professionalism is well beyond most contractors.

They came recommended from a trusted friend, but we knew we were ready to book Arreola when they suggested some instrumental design updates that would make our yard SO much more functional and it was nothing we could have come up with on our own.

Once we started working with them, they were everything you’d want in an engagement and more. Extremely reliable, responsible, dependable, and definitely went above and beyond in so many ways. They walk you through every step of the process but also let you be involved with as little or as much as possible. So attentive and available whenever we had questions about anything. All of their crew onsite were friendly and respectful. We added on things along the way but they still met the original timeline discussed.

We could not be happier with the turnout and spend so much more time in our yard now!

Would recommend and happily be a resource for anyone considering.

Arreola Landscaping did two huge work jobs for us. We first had them tear out about 60 steps in our front yard, they were doen with railroad ties and gravel. They framed in and poured footings and new concrete stairs using rebar and colorized concrete. At several points they added small landings. It looks great, very solid, absolutely level, wider and much safer. The other part of the job was they added in 2 V shaped walkways to our gazebo from our driveway and they added concrete stampings and really dressed up the overall appearance. It is much safer to use, wider and perfectly level, we could not ask for more, especially since this is all being done on a front yard hillside.

The second job they did was removing our old man-made creek and installed a new one. The creek is connected to an upper pond and spillway and the lower as the catch basin. As before, they used a water resistant concrete and colored it, and added rock features, 4-5 waterfalls and redid the entire final entry spillway to the lower pond. Carlos and his guys added in forest floor landscaping and nicely sized gravel to cover the front yard hill area, and sculpted all the features to look natural. Malrie did the design work and much to our surprise, added in a huge quantity of plants to dress up the final look. She watched the crew and offered some great suggestions. They far exceeded our expectations, and went way above and beyond what we hoped to get. My wife and I sit in our front yard with a glass of wine and marvel at the transformation they achieved.
I would highly recommend these folks, they show up on time, do great work, clean up, and have smart and useful ideas and make them into reality.
