Constraction reviews in Laguna Beach, California

We have been very appreciative of RCGC. They have facilitated several updates to our home and we are very happy with the outcome. Eric and his team were very responsive and helpful every step of the way. RCGC also remodeled several homes on our street. Eric’s crew was very clean, quiet and courteous. We appreciate Eric and his team’s work ethic and consideration for the families in the neighborhood. We highly recommend RCGC Construction for major remodels or any new construction you are planning.

Excellent service, professional and responsible. God bless NINE 49 DESIGNS. ANDRES IS A RELIABLE, FLEXIBLE AND EDUCATED PERSON. IT IS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH HIM. I RECOMMEND HIM 👍

We recently had a custom grill and bar area built in our backyard, and we’re very happy with the result. The team did a great job bringing our ideas to life, worked neatly and professionally, and completed everything on time. Like any project, there were a few small details that needed adjustments along the way, but they listened and made sure we were satisfied with the final outcome. In the end, everything turned out beautifully, just the way we had envisioned it.
What I really loved was that Andrés was able to create a drainage in our yard, without us even asking for it. And Jorge was one of the best people on the team who got the job done wonderfully.

Hard working guys. Get things done quickly.

Andres looks for the best technologies that protect the health of pool owners and reduce the cost of pool ownership and maintenance. Ace Sorensen

Nine 49 is a pleasure to work with! Looking forward to many future projects!

I had contacted several companies about building me an in-home office. Most didn't respond or gave me answers on why they couldn't do what I was asking. Andres understood what I wanted, found solutions to every barrier, and his team made it perfect! So excited about my new work space. Thank you Andres and team!

From start to finish, the team at NINE 49 Builders provide a seamless experience for the homeowner. Highly recommend

Andres and his team are amazing!
They have taken care of every design aspect of our office and I can’t thank them enough for the help and their professionalism! I do recommend them every time I can 👍🏼

Andre and his team were incredible. We had a number of projects we wanted to get done before our first baby was born and everything was completed efficiently and perfectly.

1. We had a corner kitchen cabinet that we couldn’t even use because the opening was so narrow and there was a lot of dead space in the back. They created the most beautiful and useful lazy Susan so we can actually utilize the space. The cabinet doors match perfectly with our other cabinets. It has been a total game changer.

2. The baby nursery had sliding doors that made it so you could only access half the closet at a time and they switched it to bifold doors. SO much more efficient and practical. It has made a big difference while organizing and storing all the baby supplies. Huge improvement and looks like it came with the original room!

3. They installed a ceiling fan in our master bedroom - so perfect with the hot summer we’ve been having!

4. They installed a pull down attic ladder so we can actually utilize our attic space and that has been a game changer as well.

We are so grateful for the skilled craftsmanship, the ease of communication with Andre and his team, and the efficiency in getting everything done before our baby arrived! We highly recommend for any and all projects you need!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NINE49 Designs: Exceptional Work for 10 Years and Counting

I’ve worked with NINE49 Designs and Andres for over 10 years on numerous construction projects across my two businesses and private residence. Whether it’s been large-scale renovations or small improvements, I’ve always been completely fulfilled with the results from start to finish. It seems like I’ve done a construction project every year, and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

Working with Andres and his team is always a pleasure. He has incredible design ideas, a great eye for spatial arrangements, and, more importantly, he’s honest about what’s realistic and what isn’t. His planning is thorough, and the execution is flawless. The attention to detail is one of the standout features of his work, and it shows in every aspect of the finished project.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing how NINE49 Designs handles both big and small jobs with the same meticulous care. From multi-phase business projects to simple home updates, every job has been treated with the same level of attention and care. The entire team is polite, courteous, and they keep the job site impeccably clean, which I really appreciate.

I’m continually impressed with Andres’ perfectionism and his ability to execute projects that are as functional as they are beautiful. His tight-knit team values customer satisfaction and takes pride in their work, which is clear in every interaction.

Over the years, friends and colleagues have asked for referrals, and I always send them to NINE49 Designs. Without exception, everyone I’ve referred has been thrilled with their results, just as I’ve always been. It’s rare to find a company that maintains such high standards, strong values, and consistent professionalism year after year.

Five stars all the way!

Andres is the best! He is trustworthy, reliable, and delivered on his promise. We plan to continue working with Andres and his team for the foreseeable future. We are very happy with our outdoor pavers project. Highly recommend!

Even though I haven’t personally hired NINE49 Builders for a project (yet), I’ve followed Andres and his work for a while now—and I can confidently say he runs one of the most impressive construction businesses around. The quality, professionalism, and pride that shows in every one of his projects is undeniable. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing things right and building long-term trust with clients. From design to execution, Andres brings a level of detail and integrity that sets him apart in the industry. If you’re looking for someone who values craftsmanship, communication, and doing right by people, NINE49 Builders should be at the top of your list.

Nine 49 was so great to work with, they brought our vision of a hidden bookcase door to life and executed it perfectly! They were always punctual, communicative and extremely professional. I would absolutely hire them for future projects and highly recommend!

Very nice finished product of our remodel

Top notch workmanship, reliabilty, and finished product on a complex deck repair project. Copper flashing work exceptional. After a significant rainy season not a drop of leakage and all work appears brand new.

Crown did an amazing job at our facility. They went above and beyond. The workers were courteous and respectful.

Crown Reconstruction services rescued us from a major construction nightmare that was failing after only 9 years. The previous contractor had made so many errors that the entire backyard was rotting away. Crown had the knowledge to realize that our decks were actually roofs and approached the entire redo with precision and professionalism. They are experts at water proofing but also with drains, decks, siding, railings....everything. The staff were courteous, professional, timely and talented at what they did. I would not hesitate to refer Crown Reconstruction Services.

I needed all new siding and deck work. Crown did an outstanding job. They were very knowledgeable, explained details well, detailed how pricing works and quality of their work and craftsmanship was excellent. ALL their workers worked hard, diligent and knew what they were doing. Always cleaned up after themselves each day. Will/would definitely hire them again.

Having completed a rather involved project on our Laguna Beach home, we could not be more pleased to have selected Crown Reconstruction as the contractor. Headed by Michael Constantine, Crown proved to be a reliable, quality organization. Crown's work ranges from single home projects to large, multi-unit and commercial jobs. Truly specializing in "reconstruction", Crown's expertise lies in the rehabilitation and restructuring of existing construction. Such projects can be considerably more complex than new construction, with worksite challenges that are not confronted on an empty lot. Michael employs all the necessary tradespeople "in house" without the need to rely on subcontractors. From reliability to skill, punctuality to responsiveness, Crown's workers are happy in their jobs, cohesive, and willing to help one another. Foremen/supervisors Ryan and Zeke were readily available and made sure that materials were on hand and work proceeded efficiently.

Our job was complex, involving the demolition and replacement of upper and lower decks on a sloping lot, down to the posts and footings, and including replacing the deck rails, resurfacing, venting (to current fire standards), waterproofing (including pulling and reinstalling 4 pairs of large wooden French doors, accomplished in one day so as not to leave the house interior exposed), replacing adjacent stucco and siding, extensive cement work, and painting. From day one to completion, there was not a single weekday (and occasional Saturdays) during which some type of work was in progress. On rare occasions, neatness was an issue, though only due to the workers' desire to complete a particular aspect of the project by the end of a day. Otherwise, the work site was left as neat as could be expected on a daily basis. We were able to remain at home throughout the project.

Michael also has an eye for design. On several occasions he made suggestions for features that better complimented the house and which enhanced the final result. His attention to detail is seen in the completeness of his bid, plans, and other paperwork to his zero tolerance for cutting corners (a policy also adopted by his workers). Lastly, though by far not least important, final "punch list" items, many of which were completed without prompting, were managed in a timely, efficient, and amiable fashion.

Attitude starts at the top, and the pride which Michael clearly brings to his work is reflected in all of his employees. Communication with Michael is easy, and he obviously enjoys getting to know his clients.

Without hesitation, we would strongly recommend Crown for any "reconstruction" project.

Had a great experience working with the team at Crown Reconstruction Services. The quality of the work was excellent and they were very responsive. They went out of their way to keep the job site clean and neat. Since we were living in the home at the time of the construction, they were very mindful about minimizing disruption whenever possible.
