Dave at Benson Plumbing was incredibly helpful when I called with a plumbing issue. He took the time to thoroughly walk me through the pros and cons of repairing versus other options, explaining the entire process in detail. His honesty and transparency stood out — he wasn't just trying to sell a service, he genuinely wanted me to understand what I was dealing with and make an informed decision. Extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Highly recommend Benson Plumbing if you want a straight answer from someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

Piling on the praise, hands down the best plumber in Laguna Beach and the surrounding area. High quality work at fair prices, exactly as promised. Hope we won't need plumbing work again anytime soon, but I know who I'll call if we do!

I had a custom sump pump system installed here by the beach and the manufacturer recommended American Plumbing for any issues and servicing. Having a sump pump was a bit scary for me with all our heavy rain the past few years. I had a few hiccups with it at first, since I had never had one before, but Rich and his team are always quick to respond, knowledgeable, patient, nice, and trustworthy. Now I have peace of mind. Nothing like having a great local plumber to call :)

Matt and Dean did a great job of diagnosing the problem and replaced my water pressure valve. They were in and out in 30 minutes ….. Great Jon Matt and Dean did!!!!

Don't use this plumber. We have a water leak that's damaging the carpet. I was told a plumber would call be back yesterday. No call. This morning I called again and was told the "boss" would call me back in a couple of minutes. That was a hour ago. I had to call another plumber. Really bad plumbing company that I would never call again.

As a property manager, finding a good plumber is sometimes a challenge American Plumbing has been responsive and does a great job.

Needed immediate help replacing the 1” ball valve that was the shut off valve for the house water supply. Rebecca from the office replied with assurance that they could response almost immediately. Plumber Matt Mackeown called me with a half hour ETA. MATT SHOWED UP AS PROMISED. Matt was professional and very pleasant to deal with. 45 minutes later, we had Water!

I was surprised to see American had bad reviews. I'm a handyman in town and my first experience with American was when I saw one of their bills on a customer's counter. I was amazed at how reasonable the price was. I tucked that info into an empty spot (i have many) in my head. Quite some time later I needed some work done on one of my rentals (too busy to get to) I called them. They showed up on time, we're clean and cheery, and did the work at a reasonable price. Quality work at a fair price, that's all I ask.

American Plumbing goes out of their way to do the job right. From the office to the service men, everyone is professional and friendly.. They do what they say they are going to do when they say they will do it. and it is all done in a very efficient manner. They have all become my heroes!!! 10 stars here!!!!

Kitchen faucet set failed 18 years after my kitchen remodel, so I picked up a new one this past weekend at Home Depot (voice & motion activated!!). Didn't feel like spending 1-2 hours on my back under the kitchen sink inventing new curse words, so I called American Plumbing in Laguna Beach. Thomas showed up that afternoon at the agreed time and installed it perfectly in < 1 hour. $125 - more than worth a few hours of my time (+ probably one more trip to HD & back for a wrench or a something!)

He also cleared a bathroom sink drain that needed attention ($150). Quiet guy but polite & got the job done!

So thankful! American Plumbing was absolutely terrific and I’d recommend them whole heartedly. I received a notification from Moulton Niguel Water District indicating that I had a leak consuming a lot more water. Today, the day before the Fourth of July holiday, I called American plumbing and within 45 minutes Luis and Dean arrived. I had no idea where the leak could be so Luis started with the toilets. He immediately detected a leak in my guest bathroom. He replaced the parts and the problem was remedied, no more leak!! My water shut off valve in the garage was also not functioning. Luis and Dean also replaced that. They were very conscientious and left both areas spotless. Thank you American plumbing and thank you, Luis and Dean!

Have been a customer of American Plumbing for years. I called and set up an appointment. Called today to confirm and they told me they were too busy and dropped me from the schedule. I won't ever be calling them again.

Our new "Go To" plumber. We awoke to a puddle of water on the kitchen floor coming from under the sink. Traced it to the faucet, and called the plumber we had used the last three times, but they said they could not have anyone out for 3 1/2 days!

Reluctantly, started searching for another plumber with good reviews and found American Plumbing here in town. They had Jason here within in the hour. He worked hard, knew his stuff, and left everything spotless. The price was more than fair. American Plumbing is who we will call from now on.

They were at our place on very difficult kitchen sink backups in January. We thought they identified and fixed the problem; however, in March, one of the kitchen sinks started backing up again. Not only did they come out immediately, but identified a problem in another line, fixed it and did not charge us covering the job under the warranty.

So thanks to American Plumbing. Our sinks are fine now and we are happy customers!
