I would never recommend this company, too many reason too list😱

Great . They have done work for me and for my clients. They are fairly priced and do top notch work and clean up after themselves very nicely. I recommend them regularly to my clients.

Excellent job removing the roots from a true that I had cut down. The stump was not longer visible but the roots kept growing back no matter how many times the roots they were hacked up by the local gardener. Prunin gouged out the hidden stump and I have not seen a renegade root since. They also removed an ugly stump that was above ground, all for a price that was less than what I expected.

Boy did we have high hopes and gave Prunin many chances. I don't need to go into much as the other poor reviews are exactly the issue. What they communicate regarding attention to detail and customer service on their Web site was in poor form for us. Whether you are a customer that is spending $5000 or $500,000 service is service. Although I'm sure Rob has good intentions, a true understanding that no matter what customers spend on your services, they should all be treated with respect. We got the sense that we were not in his league and he really didn't want to waste his time.There was also a lot of turnover when we paid for our design and backyard. Promises made and yet when the turnover occurred, somehow we are now at fault. The feeling of being pushed to the side is not a place that I want to spend my hard-earned money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They didn't complete the job and refused to come back to finish without add'l fees and refused to refund me, even partially.

As directly quoted from my service request emails, I needed a team to "remove the stump/rootball" of an old tree. I also stipulated "leave the hole in ground open".

The service team did not remove the roots, just the stump showing above ground and filled in the hole so that I couldn't see.

When I called to contest (after digging up to see they hadn't removed any roots) they quoted a policy saying if the customer is not home at time of the job, they are not responsible for issues with quality.

So because I wasn't home (middle of the work day) they felt they could ignore 2 direct job requirements but charge me full price.

That is not customer service. That is ripping people off.

Pruning just finished landscaping my front yard and I couldn't be more pleased. They provided me with a comprehensive quote that reflected all my requests. They provided me with a fast installation date & they arrived on time as promised. The workers were great and Raoul was wonderful to work with in placing the plants where I wished and make sure the irrigation and lighting all worked as needed. They cleaned up every night and finished on time. They weren't the cheapest, but they did a quality job, with quality workers and quality materials!

All that I can say is MTC Contractor is one professional and reliable company to enhance any project. Thank you Tom Carrasco for you neat work.

My wife and I made an investment on one of the properties we own with smart Yardz; two years ago. I had contacted the customer service lines, in San Dimas and the second in Murrieta. Nobody answers. I tried numerous times to speak to a supervisor or manager about the poor quality of their product and the grotesque installation made by one of the top workers in this company. To get your business, they are quick. To respond your concerns, to the given warranty and finally, to take responsibility of they service, believe, it is quit pathetic. It has been a nightmare mare. We spend almost 9000 in two small areas. The quality, according to their employees, it was the best two years ago. It supposed to be great dealing with kids and sun exposure. It is a very poor quality. You best way to deal with them is either through the courts or the California Better Business Bureau. I am three weeks away from my first contact and nobody had the decency or professional demeanor to call us back. Be extra cautious and aware about what you are about to deal with.

Andrew was very helpful and informative when he came out to give me an estimate and really made it an easy choice for me to have him transform my yard. Cant say enough about Andrew and his hard work, great service and great price! Would recommend to all!

Smart Yardz did an awesome job on my backyard. Not only does my yard look great but I was very happy with the service. When Drew came for my estimate, he did a great job of explaining the product and how the installation would work. On the day of installation, they were punctual and finished the job within a few minutes of the time I was promised. Overall a great experience!

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. My experience with Smart Yardz has truly been amazing. The owner Andrew is one of the nicest guys I've met. He was honest, professional and respectful from the beginning all the way to the end. His crew came in and placed artificial turf over my entire backyard which has a playground built in. It looks phenomenal now. I have no more bugs and an all year long clean looking backyard where the kids can run around and play. Andrew's crew has some of the hardest workers I've met. These guys truly love what they do and take pride in the work they perform. I have nothing but good things to say, I will ALWAYS recommend this company first line. Also, we had four other quotes from different companies and Andrew provided a very competitive price and not to mention an impeccable service. Also, I was amazed by how Andrew not only directs his crew, he actually gets in on the action and helps them out himself with the labor. He has the qualities of an amazing leader, I am not surprised why his company is so successful.
