Walter was amazing - extremely nice guy, he showed up on time, and correctly diagnosed a problem that another company had completely and utterly misdaignosised... fixing it for a few dollars rather than the $3,000 and major disruption proposed by the other company. Our go-to electricians going forward!

I want to add that they came back to double check something a few weeks later, and were incredibly gracious about it. Great service!!

Walter and David came to install my heavier chandelier with my 15 ‘ ceiling. It was a bit challenging but they were able to reinforce the ceiling to accommodate the heavy light fixer. It looks beautiful! So happy!! With their work and my new chandelier!

I am so embarrassed by how little I know about two things: plumbing and electrical. I don't mess around with it. I never want to be the cause of flooding / water damage, or an electrical fire haha. Introducing the warriors, Johnny Bryant and his team. Johnny is one of the owners of ASL Electing and Plumbing!! If it wasn't for his expertise I would not have any electricity on my second floor. After a night or two without air conditioning, I was starting to lose hope in life lol. We were all so uncomfortable that I was ready to pay any price to get relief. Thankfully, Johnny was able to troubleshoot the whole ordeal--and over text no less!! How do you put a price on knowing a true professional? Not only that, how often do you get to speak with an owner who leads teams and still makes time to help the know-nothing first time home-owner like myself. And if I didn't have enough great things to say about their experience and knowledge, what I respect most of all is their integrity, character and heart for their customers. I know plenty of "professionals" who provide customer service as a means to an end. They are nice so long as you pay them for their service. Johnny has his team are among the only true pros who serve others for the express purpose of making an impact in other people's lives. He serves people for the joy of serving and helping others. The money simply follows because of the quality and trustworthy work that they provide. Not sure who to call for electrical help? Well now you do!!

Cory was detailed and knowledgeable regarding my job requirements! We had a discussion and he made a plan for future installation for my remodel.

2 electricians came to install 2 ceiling fans in 2 bedrooms. One electrician made 2 circles on the wall and installed fan perfectly. The 2nd made 4 circles on the wall and cut the hole too large for the fan. I feel the 2nd one was not experienced judging from the conversation between the 2 electricians and the amount of mistakes made.

I called ASL Electric and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Walter the electrician was punctual and knowledgeable. I will certainly use them for another job.

Jason arrived on time to swap out two outdoor light fixtures. Really paid attention to detail, making sure the new fixtures were level and sealed so rain couldn’t get in. Left the job clean and was a most pleasant person to deal with. Would highly recommend Jason and ASL Electric.

Showed up on time and very friendly. He also wasn't afraid of my dogs, which was cool. On top of that, he managed the electrical repair quickly and efficiently. It couldn't have been a better experience!

So season is here for outdoor lighting, and of course it is not working to plug in Christmas lights. Contacted ASL again for help and they promptly replied with immediate availability.
The office send out Luis to resolved my problem. He methodically check all the plugins and found the reason. None related plugin had circuit breaker activated which caused outdoor plugin on other floor from working.
Luis also replaced other more urgent plugin problem at the kitchen which might cause more problem later.
Luis tool time to explain stuff, why and how something happens. He should teach local electrician trade school.
Again, ASL saved the day and will rely on them for future support on any home electrical problem.

Cory was quick and efficient and completed both tasks under the expected time frame. He was also very patient while I restrained our energetic dog which I highly appreciated.

This is my second time using ASL for electrical work, and once again I’m extremely satisfied with both the quality and professionalism of their team.

We had a long-standing issue with our garbage disposal, which plugs into an outlet located behind pipes under the kitchen sink. The outlet was always “on,” and there was no convenient way to switch it off. Our workaround—getting on our hands and knees to plug and unplug it daily—was inconvenient and definitely not ideal.

Because the outlet was essentially inaccessible (see photo), rewiring it directly to a wall switch wasn’t feasible. So we requested Cory again—he did great work for us back in April—and he came up with a clever solution. He tapped into an existing backsplash switch and ran a concealed wire to a new switch now mounted discreetly under the cabinet. No need to touch the buried outlet at all!

It’s clean, efficient, and solved a problem we’d been living with for years. I highly recommend ASL—and especially Cory—if you need electrical work done right. Thank you again!

Got EV plug installed. Came late to every appointment.

Turned the garage into swiss cheese, full of holes. Then they wanted to charge us extra to patch the up walls that they made holes in. Mess everywhere.

Poor communication and hidden fees. Got charged extra $200 over what was agreed upon.

This company quoted me $1.174 to run wire within my drywall for a Tesla wall outlet. They sent a technician, measured, ensure I had breaker space and scheduled an appointment. They showed up January 27 and told me it’s an all day job and appeared upset about the amount of work involved. One of them, Cory Mann; told me this was a $2,000 job. He said he needed to call
The office. So they called and the all in price was then revised to $3,000! I was shocked. They said they measured incorrectly and the price per foot of wire was $50 instead of $25, which was what I was quoted. I have the original quote within my email and in text messages with the office. This is a bait and switch operation. Unprofessional to say the least and unethical at worst. Please avoid this company and get quotes elsewhere.

Cory from ASL came to our house to provide a more precise estimate for our project. Unfortunately, we do not have enough room in the electric panel to add another 240v breaker. He told us the bad news even though that means no business for ASL. He also shared his honest opinions on what we could do and did not charge us the fee for his visit.

The company was very quick to respond on Yelp and easy to communicate with. They were able to provide me an appointment the next day to fix my electrical issues. The electrician arrived on time and was able to complete the job in a little over an hour. I like that they sent a text showing the photo of electrician that was coming and provided an ETA.

ASL installed a 14-50 outlet in my garage. Extremely prompt response after filling out an inquiry on their website and they fit me in same day, very competitive rate. Fantastic install and left nothing to clean up. Highly recommend.

We finally decided to update a few things in our home and we found ASL Electric online based on its numerous positive reviews.

They sent Walter over and he did a stellar job. He’s a man that does good work, he’s knowledgeable and efficient. On top of that, he’s kind, respectful, and easy to talk to.

Kim was very helpful over iMessage while scheduling the maintence since I wrote the wrong availability through AppFolio but she was able to troubleshoot with me effectively.

Cory Mann was very nice and helpful! The company was very diligent in responding to my maintence request and was able to give me an accurate time when the maintence person was going to arrive the day before and gave me an ETA the day of along with a photo of the maintence worker so I knew who to look out for. The maintence was quick (light bulb change) and efficient. Highly recommended this company over many other companies I have had sent over to my home for requests through Laguna Beach Properties.
