Contractor reviews in Long Beach, California

My experience with LB6 Chimney Inspection & Chimney Cleaning Serv. was excellent. Ben and his co-worker were awesome!! I had to have a new dryer vent installed and rerouted. They both were extremely professional, neat and they performed extremely high quality work. I definitely will recommend them to everyone.

I suggest LB6 Chimney Inspection & Chimney Cleaning Serv. and require professional house maintenance. Donald came out to clean the air ducts and do a thorough chimney inspection. He was efficient, well-informed, and courteous. Additionally, we followed his advise regarding an attic solution, which significantly improved the performance of our HVAC system. After being totally obstructed, our dryer vent is now functioning flawlessly. The airflow is greater and the air smells cleaner. Donald went above and beyond. He takes a great deal of pride in his work, which is uncommon. LB6 Chimney Inspection & Chimney Cleaning Serv. has acquired a devoted customer.

Elias was so helpful and did a great job! His pricing was definitely reasonable and his response time was impeccable. Will use him again and refer him to friends and family.

Overall, we had a good experience with Urban Construction and would go with them again. We did encounter some hiccups and delays along the way (part of any job right?), but Elias was responsive and always made sure we were satisfied. His team is polite, respectful, and their craftsmanship is great! Elias is a stand up guy, and keeps his word. Thank you, Elias and team!

Elias eased my fears. I had recently gone through three contractors— all did terrible jobs, failed to complete the work they collected funds for and qualify as nightmare contractors. With so much stress and complaints to the boards, my home sat idle but the idea of allowing another contractor into my home was even more terrifying. Elias was referred to me by a friend and he proved to be honest, trustworthy, efficient and professional. My nervous system was finally at ease. He came by regularly to follow up, they started the job and did not stop until it was completed. I can’t even begin to express how glad and satisfied I am with the quality of their work and equally important if not more— the work ethics these guys demonstrated. I wish I had met them at the start of my project! The amount of headaches, legal leg work and loss funds I could have avoided. But as Elias said to me - “we’re here now” and I can finally proceed with the rest of my project knowing there are actually good construction companies out there!

I called them for a small driveway repair, but the way they handled everything was so professional that I ended up hiring them for a full remodel later.

I appreciated how their crew respected our time and home. Every evening they cleaned up before leaving — small things that make a big difference.

I've worked with a lot of contractors, but none have been as trustworthy as this group. All of the promises were fulfilled, and the outcome exceeded all expectations.

I can’t believe how peaceful my bathroom feels now. The Urban Construction team chose soft tones, perfect lighting, and a modern finish. It’s my favorite room in the house.

My kitchen was outdated and dark. They redesigned it with open shelves, bright tiles, and modern lights. It feels like a whole new house.

Urban Design and Construction is an excellent company. We used their construction services for a major renovation at Seacoast Church in Redondo Beach, CA, in 2022-2023. The owner, Elias Gonzalez, understood our vision and goal in the project. His team provided excellent service, working in our timeframe, on budget, meeting our deadlines, rebuilding the interior and exterior of the main building, and exterior of a second, historic building.
Their coordination with other subcontractors providing electrical, plumbing, and other services was great and very efficient. Urban stepped in and picked up our job after a prior general contractor had quit.
Sincerely,
Toni Clark-Jones

Urban Construction & Design Solutions worked like clockwork. They finished my foundation project right on schedule — not a single day late. That’s rare in this industry!

They handled our entire home renovation kitchen, floors, and patio. The coordination between the teams was excellent, and the final result blew us away. Totally worth every dollar!

My backyard was just a plain space with no life. Their team turned it into a beautiful patio area with decorative concrete. It’s now our favorite spot for family dinners and BBQ nights

I am in the process of building an ADU and SB9 units on my property. Eli has been a wealth of knowledge whose experience is key to getting the project completed. He and his team have been there for me from the beginning, digging and pouring the foundations, completing plumbing and installing roofing. I could not do this without him and am truly thankful for his attention to detail. If you need a skilled contractor, this is undoubtedly the business to call. Eli will have your back and get the job done.

Our home suddenly felt cramped, so we decided to add a new family room. The addition blends in seamlessly with the rest of the house. The process was smooth, and the craftsmanship is excellent

This is the second time we’ve hired Urban Construction, and once again, they delivered outstanding results! We had them remodel another bathroom in our home, and just like the first time, their work was top-notch.

The tile work is absolutely beautiful—clean lines, perfect finishes, and real attention to detail. It completely transformed the space. Their pricing is very fair, and the quality you get for the cost is unbeatable.

They’re reliable, professional, and easy to communicate with. We’re so glad we went with them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for expert craftsmanship!

I recently hired this company for a concrete project, and they exceeded my expectations. The team was not only efficient but also extremely knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of the job was done to perfection. They provided me with a clear timeline and stuck to it. Truly a reliable team I would trust with any future projects.

"I highly recommend Urban construction! Eli did an outstanding job on my new home, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process. The quality of work exceeded my expectations, and he was always available to answer any questions I had. I couldn't be happier with the results

Urban Construction & Design Solutions completely transformed our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. We hired them for a kitchen remodel and a bathroom renovation, and they exceeded our expectations in every way.

One of the standout aspects of working with them was their affordable pricing. We had received quotes from several remodeling contractors, but Urban Construction & Design Solutions offered the best value without compromising on quality. They were transparent about costs and helped us stay within budget while achieving the modern, high-end look we wanted.

The team also went above and beyond when it came to attention to detail. Every tile in the backsplash was perfectly aligned, and the custom cabinetry looks like something straight out of a magazine. They even took the time to explain the pros and cons of different materials, which showed their expertise and genuine care for the project.

If you're searching for a remodeling contractor or a renovation company near me that combines top-rated service with expert advice, look no further. Urban Construction & Design Solutions offers everything from kitchen and bathroom remodeling to whole-home renovations, all while ensuring a seamless and stress-free process.

Highly recommend this team for anyone considering a home improvement or renovation project. We’ll definitely be using their services again for our next home remodel!
