Tal has done many projects for us , he has done major renovations for my family, he builds very energy efficient, he’s got some of the best rates and prices out of many of the companies I’ve worked with in the past

I met with Tal three years ago and he helped me with the plans for my garage conversion and the whole forces with my difficulty city, i’m really happy that I decide to go with Alpha one construction in since he helped me also to figure out the city did some mistake regarding the permits price and also for many other reasons.
As he told me stuff will happen and it’s construction so it’s not always going smoothly, but he will be available for me and find solutions always for everything that will come up.
I’m attaching here some photos from the ADU and the roofing project and few other stuff like the pavers but since then I referral four of my neighbours and they happy so far.

I don't know how this Alpha one got all the good reviews from? I have very bad experience with this company. I have my roof done around year ago, couple issues I want to mention here, #1 those guy remove the old roof singles waiting for City inspection but they don't cover up the roof and raining in the following day water go in the house attic wet the insulation and cause water stain on the wood. #2 I notice there are leaking in the garage patio that they did last times I call Oscar he send his boss over and tell me I need to replace the whole garage roof and will give me a new quote price. I not happy about it because last time I pay $16,000 for the main house roof and garage roof that causing the leaking I want them fix it including in the price. #3 those guy damage a lot thing I have tell them to fix it they came back couples time but still not solve the problems. I won't trust this company again ever

I was shocked by how inflated this company’s pricing is — it honestly felt like highway robbery. One of their representatives, Yomtov (“Yomi”), came to my home to provide an estimate for exterior painting on my small 1,420-square-foot house. His initial quote was over $27,000.

When I told him that price seemed extremely high, he began explaining that they use a special product called “Cool Life” paint that supposedly lasts a lifetime. Later, he reduced the quote to $25,000 and said he would also include replacing my small iron porch fence with a vinyl one. Even with that addition, the price still seemed far too high.

The following day I asked him if he could give me an itemized breakdown of the estimate — something any reputable contractor should be willing to provide. He refused, which was a major red flag for me. Transparency is important when making such a large financial decision.

He also strongly encouraged me to use their in-house financing. I had actually started filling out a financing application, but after thinking it over and doing some research, I realized that contractor financing often comes with additional fees and would not be the best option.

Another concern was his pattern of late-night communication. He told me it was normal for him to communicate with his customers between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. because he has insomnia and does most of his computer work, etc., at that time. After I informed him I would not be moving forward — due to the lack of an itemized breakdown — he texted again saying he had stayed up late “just for me”, creating 3-D images of my home with the new paint color on it.

While he seemed personable, the pricing, lack of transparency, and high-pressure tactics made me uncomfortable. As a disabled woman, I am especially cautious about situations that feel like someone may be trying to take advantage of me. I ultimately decided not to move forward.

Alpha 1 did construction for me by adding solar panels, as well as earthquake, remediation, and foundation work. Excellent workers, excellent price. I would use them again for any general construction that I need. Always answering the phone when I call or text. A pleasure to work with these people.

I had my roof replaced by Alpha One and their whole teame made it very easy for me through the whole way through. My rep - Benjamin, kept me informed and always responded quickly whenever I had a question. He kept me up to date on any update he had.

The work itself was amazingly fast. I have about a 1000 sq.ft. house with a detached garage and it took basically one day to demo. And once an inspection was done and the materials were ready, another day to prep and lay the roof - and that was it! And the results look great!
