Let me start off by saying this company truly deserves zero stars. They consistently miss pick ups, there was a time when they didn’t pick up our recycling for almost 3 months yet their drivers told them it was done every week. You’re never able to reach customer service to report issues and even if you do finally get to speak to them they say they’ll send someone out right away but you’ll still have to wait until your next scheduled pick up IF they actually come to pick it up. If you have the option, choose literally ANY other company. If it wasn’t for the city contract I don’t see how these people would stay in business.

Poor service! They miss pickups at least once a month and
don't seem to care that our trash and recycling bins are overflowing.

They have been fairly good in the past. Right now though I was told they are experiencing truck issues and problems finding drivers. It's been more than 2 weeks now that I had requested a P/U. Hope they get things sorted out soon.

Service is fine most of the time. Have had two no shoes. But overall ok. My biggest complaint is the office lady. I dread making payments. She acts like you are bothering her and has a BIG ATTITUDE, every time.

Great service overall – better communication/availability that most other trash companies we have worked with. They are helpful for commercial services as well.

This is a horrible company. They haven’t picked my dumpster up in almost 2 weeks. I have called every day multiple times a day and still no answers. My dumpster is still full. Horrible horrible customer service never had these problems when I had republic LA County I should really think about redoing this contract.

This company rented me a dumpster for my home demolition and I had to give them a review. The container was delivered same day(I called at 8AM and it was delivered by 3PM). I would definitely use this company again for any of my trash and demolition needs!

Trash services keep on getting missed. Its becoming a recurring issue week after week. I’m tired of calling and complaining. There is nothing wrong with my billing and babysitting the trash service has become a chore and unhygienic.

Just finished using American Rec for my 4th time. Awesome service and extremely punctual with house drop offs and pick ups. Great that they offer construction waste removal in the medium sized bins for DIY guys like me who demo bathrooms, kitchens and what not. Definitely going to continue using them and recommend them to any friends I can.

This is the worst waste disposal company on the face of the planet. They email you an invoice ahead of time make you prepay for the whole month and never come to pick up the trash. In the last 8 weeks i had to call them at least 16 times and let them know about the situation and all I get is either a voice mail where they call you back two days later and with the same answer. "I will pass along the message" When I asked to speak to higher up management, I was told they are not available. Please choose a different source as you will be greatly disappointed.

This company has took over service for my Altadena residence and they don’t answer phone or return phone messages. They are very unprofessional and seems to be a joke of a company! They are a nightmare. They took over my trash services with no knowledge to me, and have not delivered a bin to my residence. I don’t know how you can get a contract for a city, and not even answer a phone call. They are so bad, I tried to leave another message and there answering machine is full. I am truly disappointed and headed down to city that hired them, to get them fired asap.

If I could give this company less stars I would. Saw them hit my car and they just boned out. The owner of the company Jon said they just aren't gonna take responsibility. And I have witnesses and everything. They just know the Law and they know since I wasn't in the car I can't pursue them legally. Real pieces of work people like this are. Hope your company goes under.

I was amazed to get immediate help on a Saturday. Professional. Kind. Every question had a good explanation. I asked for their names. John assisted me promptly on Saturday. Michelle with utmost kindness explained the details because I was a new customer. The dispatcher on Saturday immediately located John. I ended up consenting to American Reclamation services. Most cost effective than the previous one we had for our apartments. Thank you for your quality services.

I am beyond dissapointed with this company and their team.
I used this company in April 2022 for a 40 yard container to my home. Craig is the Regional Manager and seems to be the one in charge of this department. I had to call them several times to get confirmation of delivery and pick ups. I gave them the benefit of the doubt being this was my first time doing something like this.
This week I needed a low boy to pick up concrete and tile. I called Craig on Monday. He priced me one bin for $720. The bin was to much for my need so he directed to their website to be able to order at less cost. I needed assitance with the website and ordering. He was not able to help me and let me know someone would call me to help me. NO ONE called me back. I called Tuesday after I spent some time working through their not so user friendly website. I asked him if the 10 yard could pick up concrete. I then let him know I placed and order for next day as the website clearly says order by noon and next day delivery. The next day no bin was delivered. I called Craig he commited to a call back. NEVER received a call back. I emailed him, no response back yet here we are two days later.
My low boy still has not arrived and here I am in desperate need as my labor help has been waiting on this. If you call this company and get placed on hold you will hear a recording "family based busines with more than 40 years experience, pride themselves with customer service" I do not think so. Save your self some time and energy. Craig is a great talker, sounds like he cares when your speaking to him but in my book they give poor service, commitments of call backs yet never call you back. This will be the last time I use them. Rick Forman, you to seemed to be annoyed because I shared my week experience.
BAD SERVICE ALL AROUND AT THIS COMPANY.

This company is truly a trash company, the worst customer service ever. It has been a complete nightmare to deal with them.

My father is who the account is under as it is his property, however I have dealt with American Reclamation as his interpreter and my experience each time I have to call has not been pleasant.
