The technician assessed the problem with my AC unit and figured out that it had something to do with the compressor. They said they'd get approval from my insurance, but instead of waiting for that, Nick asked me to leave a review before he left.
It took two days for them to talk to my insurance company, but their report was all wrong - they claimed my solar panels were blocking access to the compressor and they couldn't reach it. When I tried to get in touch with the manager at Climatech, I got shut down by someone on the phone who said they weren't going to change the report.
I ended up calling my insurance company back myself to correct the mistake, then asked another AC company for a second opinion. Luckily, that fixed the problem and I don't need to replace the compressor after all. -
I had a terrible experience with this company. They're completely unreliable. It took them 2 weeks to get the report to the insurance, claiming system issues were the problem. They lied about when it was submitted. Even after finally getting the report in, they included false info to deny my claim. If you can avoid having them service you at all, please do. If they're assigned, don't hesitate to ask for a different provider before they show up.

I received a visit from Climate Tech, recommended by my home insurance company. Unfortunately, the technician's demeanor left much to be desired - he seemed unfriendly and provided minimal information about the issue. I called them the next day for updates, only to be told that the part needed was on backorder and required approval from the insurance company.
I followed up with a call two days later, hoping for more clarity, but was again met with excuses about the part's availability. Over the course of two weeks, this pattern continued, with each call resulting in another delay or reason for the part to be unavailable. It wasn't until 16 days after the initial visit that I was told the part couldn't be found anywhere.
By then, my insurance company had sent someone else to fix the issue, and I was relieved to have a competent technician show up. In contrast to my previous experience, this new technician was extremely friendly and provided detailed explanations of what he was doing. He even took me through the parts he had replaced in the air conditioner during his 30-minute visit.
Needless to say, Climate Tech left a sour taste in my mouth. If your insurance company recommends them, I'd advise against it - go with someone else instead. -
I had to deal with Climatech Inc. after my home warranty claim was triggered. The technician who arrived was completely unprofessional from the start, trying to charge us extra on top of what's already covered by insurance. At the same time, he planned to bill the insurance company as well. When I questioned him about his claims, he changed his story multiple times - first blaming parts, then labor, and finally "cleaning fees" - none of which matched the actual issue.
Given the other reviews, it's clear this contractor has a pattern of operation that's unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed and do not trust them at all. -
My experience with this AC company has been incredibly disappointing. The technicians were completely unprofessional, making me feel disrespected and belittled throughout our interaction. They showed a disturbing lack of regard for my concerns and opinions as a female customer. In contrast, their demeanor towards my husband was vastly different - he was treated with more respect and courtesy. However, the delay in delivering a crucial part has been excruciating, with no clear resolution after nine months. Unfortunately, this company falls woefully short in terms of quality work, customer communication, and basic respect for its clients.

This company is completely unprofessional. They showed up late, did a minimal inspection, and left without giving any real update on what would happen next. When I tried to follow up, the same vague assurances kept being given - just wait for the insurance decision. No effort was made to actually assist me. In fact, my insurance had to send someone else to fix the issue because they couldn't be bothered to do it themselves. The excuses about not using filters and never entering the home are laughable. Avoid this company at all costs.

Terrible experience with this home services company. I had a leaky condensate pan and the technicians showed zero concern for the issue. Their attempt to fix it was half-hearted at best, and they seemed more interested in telling me what I should be doing myself (getting a plumber) than actually helping me. When they submitted their proposal to AHS, the estimate was outrageous - $3500 for minimal work that wasn't even necessary. The technicians' attitude was completely unacceptable, making it clear they didn't care about my situation or needs. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company altogether.

We had our seasonal heating tuneup done by Climatech Inc., who sent out their technician to two of our units on the roof. The whole process, from arrival to departure, took a mere 11 minutes. Initially, we left a positive review for the technician because he seemed friendly and we assumed he would actually take a closer look at everything. We have security cameras and are home during the day, so it's easy to prove that what we saw was true.
The technician only brought a drill with him and used a ladder to access the roof, which is surprising given that our top-floor unit can't be reached without one. Moreover, he never inspected this unit because of its inaccessible nature. With such an abbreviated visit, how could he possibly inspect both units? Unfortunately, later that night, our unit started malfunctioning, blowing cold air only and refusing to turn off despite our efforts.
We attempted to contact Climatech Inc.'s home warranty service multiple times but were met with repeated instances of being hung up on. Despite their initial availability, they failed to follow through on promised callbacks. Frustrated by the experience, we sought help from a local company that arrived promptly the next day and spent two hours servicing both units.
The technician explained that the safety feature in our unit kicked in because it was producing an excessively high temperature, which is not within its safe operating range. By adjusting the settings, the issue was resolved, and our heat returned. Needless to say, we will no longer be using AHS home warranty services, particularly Climatech Inc., as they failed to provide adequate assistance when needed most.
