We were misled by this company's high rating, expecting a trustworthy experience. Instead, our AC repair visit turned out to be a sales pitch rather than actual fixing. The technician barely inspected the unit before pushing for a $15k replacement, dismissing any repair options and claiming it was at the end of its life.
In stark contrast, another company visited us the next day for a second opinion, identifying a minor electrical issue that they fixed in under 30 minutes for a few hundred dollars. Our supposedly "unfixable" unit is now working perfectly.
This experience is disheartening to see a highly-rated company prioritizing aggressive sales over genuine service. If you use them, be sure to get a second opinion before committing to an expensive replacement that might not even be necessary.
