Constraction reviews in Madera, California

We recently had MGM construction out to help us prepare our home for sale. I met with Mario to discuss the work we intended for the house. He walked through each work item with me and even gave ideas on ways we could save money instead of gouging for extra work as I’ve seen some contractors do. Not once did I have a hard time contacted them throughout the job. Easy to reach, easy to talk with and informative through the whole process. After sharing our deadlines with Mario MGM met every one. All work they did for us was done very well and was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend MGM Construction. It was evident through the process they not only do great work but maintain a level of responsibility toward their projects that can be hard to find these days.

If you need any work done, MGM is who you want to call. Mario and his team recently helped my dream bathroom happen. They are very professional, their work speaks for itself! With many other contractors I was getting a run around and or no responses. But MGM made me feel confident that any projects needed around the house can be done with quality work. Definitely a 10/10 satisfied happy customer!

The great quality of work they do speaks for itself. I am fortunate to have found MGM Construction to do my main restroom remodel and complete my pantry after a bad experience with other person. My mom wanted main restroom and pantry complete a year ago but after a bad experience it was hard to trust anyone.

My mom and I are very happy and please with the excellent quality of their work. She even mention to them and me if she could she would give them a 10 star.

Like I said above we are fortunate and lucky to have found MGM Constructions, first day he came in to our home to look at our restroom/pantry and gave us an estimate I perceive a true honest, trustworthy hard working man behind this company and I was not wrong.

They listen to their clients needs and look for the best interest and satisfaction of their clients. One of my mom requests of several ones it was a little corner step in the shower so she can put up her feet to make it easier on her to scrub her feet and legs as she has knee and health problems & they listen to her needs which made her & me see her happy was priceless.

They were always on time, work very hard all day, completed the job in about a week which I was amazed after a year struggling and looking for a great company like MGM was worth the wait. The team was very responsible, respectful, hardworking, punctual, friendly.

Don't hesitate to hire this company is worth it. I still have several projects that I looking forward to do with them.

We hired Mario and his crew to do a complete re-roof with new fascia boards. They were extremely clean and efficient. They even battled the bad weather to get the project completed on time. MGM is going to handle all of my future home projects. A very trustworthy and honest company. A+

MGM was recommended to me from a neighbor who had their bathroom remodeled. We, too, were remodeling our bathroom. We contracted MGM after their bid came in significantly lower than many others. The remodel was complete in the time frame that was given which was unusually fantastic. They were responsive and flexible. They were personable and respectful. I was appreciative of all the hard work they did. I was a bit more unprepared than I thought but Mario was patient and professional. In the end, the remodel was exactly how we wanted it and we were happy in every aspect we would expect a contractor to be proficient in. Thank Mario.

Excellent work and better people, the project they helped me with was an addition of two rooms and enlargement of the living room, it was a two-month project. The work was so well done that it seems that the house was built that way, the walls, the floors and the lighting are perfect.
I am so satisfied with the result that I have no problem recommending their work.
In addition to being very professional, the staff is excellent, very responsible and attentive to details, always asking if you were satisfied and what they could do to improve the work.
I just have to say Thank you MGM

MGM is by far one of the best companies I have ever hired to work for me. The crew is very prompt, courteous, respectful and their attention to detail is second to none. They left my property cleaner then when they started the project and my new roof looks perfect. The city final inspector even complimented the completeness of the roof and how good everything looked when he signed off on it. If you are in need of a contractor I suggest giving these guys a try. Excellent crew to work with.

I used MGM Construction for the remodel of my house recently. Mario and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up, and completed the projects quickly and efficiently. This was a wonderful experience. I am truly thankful for their hard work and dedication even after the remodel was completed. They are professional, reliable and dependable all while providing me with a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded my expectations. Thank MGM Construction!

I have known Mario, the owner, for many years. He has done several projects on my residence. He and his employees have always been very considerate and a pleasure to have in my home.

I can’t say enough good things about Mario’s team. From start to finish their professionalism, hard work, and insight were exceptional. Mario is very responsive and on sight. Our living room remodel had been a long time in the making and the before/after speaks for itself. We definitely recommend them and plan to use them again for future projects. Thanks again Mario, Hector, santos, Joaquin, and the rest of the staff. -the Aguilars

I hired MGM construction to:
1. Paint the interior of the house and garage.
2. Remodel the primary bathroom shower.

Mario Gutierrez and his team deliver outstanding professional services:
• staying on budget
• daily communication
• punctual arrival on the job site

The end result is a top quality job well done!

We were in a search of a commercial contractor to build a brand new boba shop in madera. We came across Mario business mgm construction on google and the reviews he had matched our needs. Contacted Mario and we hit it off. He was very professional and understood all my needs at a very reasonable price. During the construction there were some minor road bumps, Mario took initiative to take care of the obstacles in a timely manner. Mario and his team had great communication skills and always gave me updates on what was going on. One thing that impressed me with Mario is that he was very detail on his workmanship and did excellent quality work to everything. I will be for sure using Mario and his company again. If you are looking for a commercial builder I would definitely recommend Mario and his team! 10/10!

I was planning on remodeling our kitchen and met with 7 contractors for bids. Mario Gonzales with MGM Construction was the first contractor I met with and I was very impressed. After meeting with the rest of the contractors, I knew MGM was the right one to go with. Working with MGM’s crew was so refreshing, when I was told they would be there at 7:00 am, they were there at 6:50 am ready to go. This crew was very polite and they never played around, they worked the whole time and their attention to detail was amazing. My kitchen was done on time and on budget, thank you Mario and his crew, I love my kitchen.

Called MGM Construction on a whim to inquire about building a small house for my grandparents on our property.

Mario arrived when he said he would for the quote. We decided to use his company in the end. The transaction was completed before he said it would be, and most importantly, was on budget.

There were no hidden costs or added cost.

Mario went above and beyond and handled everything like a professional. The crew was great and professional as well and provided a quality house for our grandparents to live in their own space (kitchen, bath, bedroom, laundry etc) away from my family, but close enough to be included.

MGM. Construct is a family owned and operated business in Madera. His years of being in business made this process smooth and hassle free.

If you’re looking for and remodel all the way up to a new construction house, I highly recommend MGM Construction.

My husband and I hired MGM Construction to remodel our master bathroom. Mario and his crew turned my dream into a reality beyond what I could have hoped for. I have worked with many contractors in the past, and none have come close to MGM’s quality work, professional nature, and reasonable fees. They truly are second to none. We already have our next round of renovations scheduled with MGM, and family members who saw them in action are planning future endeavors with them as well.

If you are looking for a quality construction company, who is easy to work with, and for a reasonable fee, look no further.

This is my first Google review but I felt that Mario and the MGM crew deserved to be praised for their outstanding work. And, it was due to others reviews that I decided to go with them.

I had MGM first replace an old, outdated French door in the master bedroom with a sliding glass door. They then worked with us to remodel the master bathroom. The old bathroom was outdated and the shower was very dreary and small. I had a vision of how I would like the new shower to look and they exceeded my expectations. They also replaced the old tile countertop with a new granite one and they added an additional outlet, as per my request. I was so satisfied with their work that I also had them replace the front bathroom tile countertop with granite as well.

Mario and his crew were very easy to work with, were punctual, stayed on schedule and on task, and Mario stayed in contact the entire way through. Any other work we decide we need completed, MGM will be who we call. (I have added pictures of the old and newly remodeled bathroom taken at approximately the same angles.)

After an amazing experience with our master bathroom remodel, my husband and I worked with MGM to convert our dining room into a bedroom. They framed in the room and closet, added a Murphy bookcase door, and Mario the owner was instrumental in making my dream of board and batten walls a reality. I could not be any more in love with this new bedroom - definitely my current favorite room in our house! There truly does not appear to be anything MGM can’t do. Their quality and craftsmanship is amazing. I can’t recommend MGM Construction enough!

I had my home built by MGM Construction in 2020. Six years later, I encountered an unexpected issue with the roof. I reached out to them, and I was impressed by the response. They stood behind their work 100%.They sent someone out to inspect it that very same day. Work started just a few days later and was completed shortly after. All completely free of charge. I really appreciated the clear communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!

We recently worked with Mario and his team for a garage conversion to master bedroom/bathroom with a nursery nook. It was my first time doing any remodeling or working with any contractor, so it was a lot for me to learn. I changed my mind a lot, had a million questions, and I admit, was sometimes difficult to work with due to my grandiose visions of how I wanted it to look (lol). With all of that being said, I can say that Mario not only showed incredible patience, understanding, and kindness with my lack of experience and vision changes, he also went above and beyond to make sure everything I wanted became reality and that I understood what was happening during the process. The team did everything we wanted and more. I LOVE my new space and it turned out so amazing! My advice to anyone moving forward is to communicate your vision and then trust the process. Mario and his team knows what they are doing, are very experienced and will do an amazing job making your dreams a reality. We loved it so much that we hired him right away to stucco the whole outside of our home due to woodpeckers destroying our wood siding. Not only did they make it look amazing, his team also did trim on all of our windows making my vision come to life yet again. I would recommend them 100 times over for any type of construction work. Thank you Mario, God bless you and all of your workers.
