I'm from Downtown Madera, this week my water heater decided to die on me, in less than an hour these guys found the problem, fixed it at the lowest most efficient way possible, and educated me on the subject. Not only was my problem solved I learned how to save money. Worth it.

I knew Mario was the man for my project the first day I met him; He was wearing a Jon Pardi t-shirt. Mario was the third bid I got for my project (30x50 cement pad - permitted) and came in the lowest. Mario and his team met all the quoted time lines and couldn’t have done a better job. Foundation is perfect for my shop build. Highly recommend!!

Mario at MGM Construction has now done 3 jobs for my family. Our home was built in 1972 and needed some love...

The first entailed a hallway remodel where we (they) raised the ceiling to remove an abandoned cold air return that was left over after a newer more efficient HVAC system was installed prior to us buying the home. We added skylights along with changing the texture of the walls to a mission style finish which looks great. We also added a mud room entryway closet system (10 ft long) with a bench and helped us turn our 4th bedroom into a master closet at the same time with custom cabinets which were less expensive than California Closets and better quality. While they were up in the attic they discovered some wiring issues from the past and cleaned that up in the process with J boxes and other needs to raise the electrical above the blown in insulation.

The second was to remodel our master bathroom which was laid out terribly and needed a makeover. One of the benefits to our home was how low the plumbing was in our slab and below. Since our heat and air ducts run through the cement slab on the floor the drains are very deep which allowed us to install a zero entry shower with no lip. Achieving this look is hard as all the cement needs to be cut out and then very delicately new cement to be put in lower than the existing floor with proper grade. They did a great job with this and all runs into a French drain perfectly. We had bluetooth speakers installed, lighted mirrors and separate free standing vanities which is the key to a happy marriage I might add!! The bathroom turned out perfect and we've been very happy.

The last project him and his team tackled for us just was completed which was a pool house teardown and rebuild after the old one was falling apart. The previous install was done as a DIY and it wasn't anchored to the slab in anyway so water would come in every time it rained into the floor. We wanted this to be a play area for our daughter and they did a great job not only building a fun dry place for our daughter to play but also tying it into the look of the existing house with stucco and the same pattern to match.

On Mario's business card for MGM it states "Quality work for less" and I believe that is the best way to describe them. He has always come in below the competitive quotes and the work when completed is worth the investment. Anytime there has been a couple issues or items needing adjustment of fixing he picked up the phone and someone was out as soon as they could get there and for that we thank him. He will always be my go to on any project but with him getting busier I'm hopeful he can fit us in the next time we call.. lol. At this point he's my contractor and my friend. On to the next project!!

I have had a lot of work done in the last 2 years on my property. I was fortunate to get introduced to this company during the different projects. They now do all the projects at my house, currently building a new garage. I also had them do a job at my office. Always very competitive pricing and the work is superior. Always available for questions, never make you feel like ,"That was a dumb question", just could not ask for a better company.... Great work at a great price. Highly recommend

Excellent work !! Went above and beyond to make us happy ! Gave my wife the kitchen she dreamed of.. When there was a misunderstanding he made sure to correct it and was more concerned about the quality of his work then rushing through to the next job… very efficient always responded to calls and text met every deadline promised ! Had a slab leak, and it was right under our tub. But MGM got us put back togeather, our bathroom looks better then it ever has. And it was all done quickly. If your needing work done I can't recommend them enough.
