Poor quality craftsmanship. So many structural issues in the first 6 months.
-
Get pre-approved for a to get on waiting list, can't get scheduled to look at anything. Nice going Atherton.

A pretty new residential community. Clean and quiet place to live. However for unknown reasons, it seems pretty dusty....
-
We do a lot of landscaping and artificial turf in this area. Mike builds a nice home

We have bought a brand new home here its been built, the house here r very beautiful n the prices r low n u get more house for your money, the houses here r so beautiful

Atherton Homes are quality built and have great customer service. Nobody we've met so far that has shared a negative experience.
-
Unreasonable security detention for walking through their streets with homes completed ready for selling. Mr Tom was insulting, profanity was his strong suit. We called the Manteca Police and was told we could walk there. I would judge Atherton homes and customer service on the instruction they trained Tom.. I would not buy a home from this builder

Houses still in the 1/2 million to 600,000 rage or close to it. Nice models. Working with the sales staff in purchasing home. Staff nice and accommodating. They don't push the upgrades.
-
Very unprofessional and complicated. Warranty Department is nothing but headaches. They do the bare minimum and expect you to be satisfied with cutting corners. We love our home just not the majority of the office staff.

Atherton The Toscana is my fav and starting price is now $582,990. Not long ago when I visited the model home it was under $533,000. They keep raising the price so fast. I believe it is demand and supply. $582,990 is starting price for extreme basic design (only one 2 Car Garage, carpet etc etc) and little add ons will easily make it over $600,000. Manteca is still Manteca I mean there are no jobs in this area or closeby cities like Lathrop, Stockton, Modesto etc until u wanna spoil quality of your life driving everyday to Bay area, which to me is a stupid decision. Lots of people from bay area are buying these homes and causing prices to hike crazy. I don't wanna break my back to pay so high mortgage where i don't have life. Toscana is my fav though but now seems Overly Priced for me so will pass on. People just get infatuated by great design of these homes and they look better than others but it is made by Local guy and after reading other reviews I doubt if they use Quality products to make these homes. Some report problem with Warranty as well as Sales Dept issues also.
