Tree reviews in Martinez, California

Hamilton tree service did an amazing job! The arborist were very professional and knowledgeable. Jared was in touch with us throughout the job and always answered our questions. Our tree looks great! Very hard workers.

I had a large tree in a small town house complex. Hamilton's staff was professional and flexible. They took their time to have the correct equipment and ensure that all units were safe during the removal. Myself and my neighbors were very happy with the job and the cleanup afterwards. They were very knowledgeable and provide A1 service.

We received a few quotes from tree service companies and picked Hamilton. They were priced below other companies, produced amazing service, and required less waiting/permitting than the other companies. We had 5 trees removed and a very large oak tree pruned. They worked efficiently and left everything neat and clean once complete. They were great to work with and took care to protect anything surrounding the trees being removed so nothing was damaged during the process.

Hamilton Tree Service did an outstanding job from start to finish! The team was professional, punctual, and clearly experienced. They removed a large tree from our backyard safely and efficiently, and they did an excellent job cleaning up afterward — you’d never know they were there!

What really stood out was their attention to detail and their respect for our property. The crew was courteous, answered all our questions, and gave helpful advice about tree care moving forward.

If you need reliable, affordable, and skilled tree service, I highly recommend Hamilton Tree Service. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future tree work!

We recently used Hamilton for the removal of 7 large pines on a very tricky cliff in the Berkeley hills and couldn’t have been more satisfied! The quote was very reasonable for the machinery and the skill needed to address the tricky topography of our location. The narrow streets required a traffic permit and they handled everything with the city. Our view of the bay is now open and beautiful, as well as eliminating the fire hazard the trees were posing. The front office and all workers were kind, curteous and respectful and I would recommend them (and already have) to anyone looking for tree work in the East Bay.

We were very pleased with Jarred and his crew for the beautiful job they did on our oak trees. This was the second time we’ve used Hamilton Tree Service. They are so good at explaining everything, and they did an excellent job of working with us to achieve the end result we wanted. They were fast, efficient and clean. We will definitely use them again next time, too!

Hamilton tree service was the perfect team to guide us through the stressful process of unexpectedly needing to trim our oak trees due to insurance related concerns about roof overhang. From the initial evaluation by Jarred it was clear we were in the right hands as he was able to skillfully assess branch by branch our large trees being mindful to maintain both the aesthetic quality but also and importantly the overall integrity of the tree while seeking to adhere to the fire-related insurance concerns we are all now facing. On the day of his team was incredibly professional, all working in coordinated, safe fashion. It was impressive to see. We are grateful to Hamilton and to Jarred for the timely, professional and efficient work that they did. Not to mention, the beautifully stacked pile of future firewood they left us per our request. We would absolutely go with them again and recommend without hesitation.

Leo and team did tree removal, stump grinding, and pruning. Overally, they did an excellent job--efficient, thorough and pleasant. They showed up on time, ready to work. You could tell that they had the right equipment and knew what they were doing. Brittany in the office was very communicative, nice, and prompt. I would highly recommend Hamilton Tree Service to anyone in the Bay Area who needs tree trimming and removal.

The best tree service around! I called Grant for a small job (palm tree trim and mulch drop off). In just a few minutes, Grant reached out advising his office would call to schedule an appointment. Working through my complicated work schedule, the office called and an appointment was set.

The crew came out as scheduled and were extremely professional. Brian, the lead worker contacted me to advise what work was going to be done. The crew got to work, did an amazing job on the palm tree and dropped the mulch right where I wanted it.

You will see a lot of shady tree services out there who should not be in the business. Brian’s crew took all then safety precautions to ensure the job was done safely.

Huge thank you to Grant, the office and Brian and the crew.

Ryan and Neil did a fantastic job pruning and taking down very large tree branches behind us. I highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

Hamilton does incredible work. I couldn’t be happier.

Jared came out to do the bid and did a wonderful job managing my expectations and explaining everything involved in maintaining a gigantic eucalyptus tree.

Daniel (their lead pruner) was professional, efficient, conscientious, and good at communicating with me through out the process.

All of the ground crew were great. They took amazing care of the property, moved furniture out of their work area, covered the patio, and kept the branch pile in front of the house orderly.

I will be calling the next time the eucalyptus needs trimming. Hopefully I get the same crew!

We needed our large, dead Monterey Pine removed, and two stumps. Hamilton was recommended by another tree service. I valued preserving the landscape and plants under the tree. Jarred explained things and answered my exacting technical questions. That gave me confidence in Hamilton.

The price was at the middle of the five services I contacted.

The work was done beautifully. The crew was professional, effective, and skilled, but also kind, generous, and friendly. Not only was the landscaping untouched, but they cleaned up the pine needles on my patio and roof. At my request, and without charge, they trimmed a different tree's branch that was pressing on my neighbor's wires. They cut up a few logs for my wife's kindergarten class.

I had Hamilton come out to my corporate yard and my home to do some tree trimming. They were great to work with! Make sure when you call ask for Becky in sales. She is amazing to work with and in my opinion sends out the top notch best crew! From show up to getting the work done to clean up, they were great to work with!
My yard at my home looked better and was left cleaner than when my weekly gardener comes! Small projects (like my home) and larger projects (my corporate yard) I would highly recommend Hamilton for all your tree needs! We will be using them again in the near future!

Hamilton was an excellent partner in keeping our home and neighborhood safe by helping up remove a beloved Redwood and Cedar trees. They were thoughtful and professional with the consultation and we were so impressed with the minimum disruption that their work caused when removed a 160 ft tree. We are so grateful that their creative partnerships and commitment to recycling is making the most of these trees and their next uses.

The team at Hamilton are excellent! We have worked with them for years, trimming our oak trees, palm trees and all other large trees in our yard. Nick is always efficient and helpful. Danny, Jose and Glen worked very hard on our palm trees, they look beautiful. Pricing is fair and they are always on time, and they leave the yard cleaner than how they found it. I give my highest marks to this team!

Couldn’t be happier with the work we had done! From our very first contact with **Becky Mellott** to the crew’s completion of the job, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free. We had a pepper tree that’s been a problem since we purchased our home—it knocked our fence down and was getting dangerously close to our shed. Becky’s crew handled it quickly and safely, and the area looked fantastic when they were done. I especially appreciated her follow-up before the crew left to make sure we were 100% happy. Professional, friendly, and thorough—would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of tree removal!

Very Professional and efficient! They did such an excellent job and trimmed up our very tall and large trees beautifully. Most importantly they raked up, cleared and removed all the debris from our lawn. Definitely giving them 5 stars and 👍👍👍

Hamilton Tree is the best tree removal company in the Bay Area, we work with them extensively to salvage fallen trees and turn them into locally sourced wood products.

Most tree companies send guys to chunk up a tree, this is inefficient, wasteful, and in some cases dangerous.

In contrast, Hamilton Tree specialty is extremely specialized heavy equipment to extract trees safely and efficiently.

Attached are photos of a project we did in South San Francisco's Oyster Point Bio Tech Hub; trees were carefully harvested onsite and put back into a park that is an extension of the SF Bay Trail.

Hamilton is a great choice for both residential or commercial projects from tree removal to maintenance including pruning, bracing, and transplanting.

Jarred, Nick, Christy, and Brittany in the office are extremely responsive and focus on learning about clients' needs -- I'd suggest giving them a call for any tree related needs.

I had a very large Stone pine tree lose a major branch and needed help ASAP. Hamilton showed up at my house 2 hours after I placed a call on Sunday morning. They offered to mobilize that day to get started but we decided to wait until Monday to remove the the remaining part of the tree that was still leaning over my house. I will use them again for any tree service. Their crew was top notch professional and were inspiring to watch as they went about their craft. I am very thankful for them.

What an amazing job removing our 2 trees! I was able to watch part of the stump grinding when I got home and it was amazing! Technology has really come along way in helping the guys who do this difficult job! Kenny came up & knocked on our door when the job was finished and explained everything they did and asked if we had any questions before the crew leaves. Our yard looks wonderful with those hidious trees gone! Kenny was so sweet! He even brought up packages that UPS left at the end of our driveway! The crew was efficient and cleaned up our property when the job was finished.
Kenny was so friendly and kind! The world needs more Kenny's! Good job Hamilton Tree Company!

The tree in our front yard was heavily overgrown. We called Hamilton Tree. They came quickly and gave us a quote. We agreed and were able to get the work done within the week. They were efficient and professional. Our tree looks great. Highly recommend Hamilton Tree!
