Our Florida house was decorated over a period of almost nine years and was eclectic – not in a great way. On a whim one evening, I conducted a web search for interior designers and found CM Natural Designs profiled in an article, along with seven others. After reviewing each designer’s portfolio, I selected CM Natural Designs to contact, along with a couple of other designers I found in other articles.

After speaking to Corine via FaceTime, we knew instantly that she was the designer for us. We were apprehensive about spending money on something we historically thought we could tackle with Pinterest. But Corine’s detailed explanation of her design process, her professionalism and effervescence and the strength of her portfolio – varied and clearly brimming with the respective homeowner’s personality – convinced us to make the leap.

From beginning to end, Corine bowled us over with her talent, organizational skills, attention to detail and responsiveness. Even my husband (ever the skeptic) was impressed with her. Her design presentation nailed the vision of what we thought our house could look like. Within one week, we purchased 90% of the items she recommended. Over the next few months, our house was transformed from a mish mosh of accumulated high-end & Home Goods items to a serene retreat that is functional and still feels like our “home.” I often sit in the rooms that she redesigned, soaking in the touches. She doesn’t “push” her preferences – she really listens and translates your preferences into a beautiful, cohesive design.

The fact that she is based in CA, and we are based in FL presented zero issues. The initial style study was conducted through FaceTime. Communication was handled primarily through email and text, with the ad hoc call, if needed. Corine and her amazing studio manager, Jenny, were on top of every detail.

After completing four rooms with Corine, we engaged her to redesign our master bedroom, which was just recently installed. We will have her redesign our master bathroom & powder room, as well – I’ll be upset when we run out of rooms for her to redo.

We joke that Corine is not only our interior designer but our “life coach.” I literally won’t make some purchases without checking in with her, and my husband can be convinced to buy things if I mention that it was her idea.

I have very high standards, but Corine exceeded our expectations. My perspective on interior design has completely changed. If we had invested in this upfront before purchasing our mish mosh of stuff over time, we would have saved money on not having to “fix” things down the road. We can’t recommend Corine and CM Natural Designs enough. Her talent combined with her operational prowess and responsiveness is rare – and she’s a delight to work with. We feel so lucky to have found her!
