Vanessa did a landscape redesign for nearly all of our quarter-acre lot. She listened carefully to our preferences and concerns and made appropriate plan adjustments through a series of meetings. Her design of a set of undulating Sonoma fieldstone retaining walls on our fairly steeply sloped back yard, combined with a color-matched Granitecrete patio was especially pleasing, and was nicely coordinated with our existing deck and pool surrounds. We appreciated her help with replacing our previous plantings throughout the property with California native, drought-tolerant, pollinator-friendly plants.

Vanessa's detailed and persuasive design documents also helped us obtain project approval from our Homeowners Association.

Vanessa has been great to work with on our front yard overhaul. We’d never done a project like this and she helped us every step of the way from coming up with our vision for the space, to iterating on designs, to helping source and manage contractors. We are so grateful for all her expertise and can’t wait to see everything come to life and grow in.

Vanessa was a dream to work with and her vision helped create a magical space for my grandchildren to run and play in my outdoor space. Upon our first meeting she listened and took notes as to my hope for this tiny space to be transformed from a useless rocky "garden" into a mini wonderland for my grandchildren. Vanessa returned with vision boards and continued to listen and adapt based on my feedback. She was able to create a design to maximize the space with great consideration given to the type of plantings that would endure flying balls and little hands! The end result is a beautiful space
filled with greenery, trees for shade, a bench, bird bath and stepping stones. Gorgeous. Vanessa stayed in constant contact throughout the process, always available to answer questions and clarify. If I could give her a 10 star rating I would.
