I purchased a patio awning from them 9 years ago and they installed it. I contacted them many times about it leaking where the awning meets the house. They said it was our roof. We had our roof replaced a couple of years ago and it didn't help at all. It leaks all around the edges and around the gutter. Definitely not worth what we paid.

I am extremely Satisfied with my Awning! Henry and Moises where very friendly and polite and had my Awning up in a timely manner. I also want to include Daniel who spent time working up my quote and answering all my questions! Being that I was in customer service for 25 years, I have to say that I enjoyed talking to Liz in the front office. She is a pleasure to work with! Thank you ALL so much! Terrible service after you have paid them and they finish their job. Our awning, which was about 7 months old, leaked terribly and we called to have it repaired and it took a long time for anyone to even give us a call back, was close to a month if not more than a month. We kept getting the run around about when someone could come out. After months of doing this we finally get someone to come out and he says it looks like they didn't slant it enough so the water could come down. He put some caulking and left and when it rained a few days later it leaked again and not just in one place, in multiple places. Called again to say its still leaking and had an appointment made with Scott, who is a the manager and the day came for him to show and he didn't show nor did we get a phone call he wasn't coming. I had to call and was told his wifes wallet was stolen and he was at the bank dealing with it??????? No phone call, nothing. We rescheduled for the next day and then I get a call about 10 minutes before he's supposed to show and I was told he is not coming because he has to pick up his wifes car at the shop??? What happened to good customer service where your customer comes first? I would not recommend their services to anyone ever. Next call will be my lawyer.

Great company to work with. Had my cover installed about 4 yrs ago and they were very efficient and professional. Just called them asking for additional information and Scott was so helpful and accommodating. Definitely would recommend them for patio covers.

TLDR: Professional, safe (proper PPE), Fair pricing, prompt, excellent after install customer support (Shout out to Felipe!)

I had SC install a lattice patio cover on my house a couple weeks back and love it.

The process started back in January when we first gave them a call for a quote. After discussing briefly in my email what we were hoping to achieve, they scheduled someone to come to our home and help us finalize the details. The sale rep was very professional, was masked, had samples of the materials and colors and arrived on-time.

The purchase permitting process took a bit longer than I had expected as I had to receive county and city approval, though the office staff was communicative and friendly when I called in for updates. I had to take on some of the tracking down of points of contact and form delivery, but not a huge deal.

Install was easy. It took them 3 days total (1 to dig footings and deliver material, 1 to have inspector sign-off and for the install and one for electrical to finish up).

I had a couple touch up items that needed to be taken care of and Felipe H was super responsive, personable and efficient when he came by.

I'd recommend SC to anyone looking for a patio cover.

Landscaped part of our backyard. Started with set idea but as it progressed we all improvised and it turned out terrific. Those who did the work were professional and courteous during the process. Recommend them highly and planning to continue with them with other work that is needed.

SC Construction installed 2 patio covers with ceiling fans at our home. This company has an awesome crew and the work was excellent. They also replaced 80 feet of redwood fencing. Scott was great to work with from beginning to finish date. His crew was hard working and a pleasure to work with. A shout out to George, Ulysses and Jacial. We are very happy with the result.

Do yourself a favor get a few local quotes first then take a drive to SC Construction in Modesto. Don’t complain it’s too far because when you see with your own eyes what products they carry you will want to seal the deal with them. These products are an investment that shouldn’t be purchased without actually seeing it. The wide range of style and materials are so important. There is so much substandard stuff out there. Scott and his team love what they do and it shows. I’m so glad I took the chance on calling them even though they are in Modesto. I can’t wait for the enjoyed times to follow .

I recently had a patio cover installed by SC construction and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team was professional, the office ladies communicated every week with us during the process, & were very efficient. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations! Not only does my patio look fantastic now, but I also feel like I have gained an extra room in my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor living space. Installed patio cover in 17-18. They did a great job, though they did not install all the headers we purchased. Only one out of 4 were installed. Still love the cover. Have terrible issues with return emails and voice messages. I guess if you aren’t spending enough, you aren’t worth their time. I have had nothing but bad experiences with the office staff. Scott is not very reliable, at least on our case. When patio cover was installed we asked for a quote on 4 awnings. Never got back to us. I’m trying again. Left 2 emails. Now I guess I wait. Hopefully they get back to me before the weather gets too hot.

We needed some retrofit to our Alumawood patio cover. From start to finish, it showed to be a professional organization.
The crew that was assigned our project were top notch and knew their job. Ricky, Frank and Felipe worked as a well oiled team, even in the summer heat. I would highly recommend them for any project.
