These guys did a wonderful job. They also expertly advised against the extensive trimming of a tree (limbs hanging over a pool) that would probably have killed the tree, but offered to do it if I really wanted.

They were extremely quick to completely delete 3 tall redwoods, 2 extra stumps, and nicely trim a tree. All in less than half a day!

James and Dauki we're wonderful!! We had a huge redwood tree removed, and they are having the trunk plained so we can make a kitchen table out of it! They are also coming back to plant a new tree for us! Awesome guy's, they did an amazing job! Will be recommending them to our neighbors! 5 star tree company for sure 😃

James and his crew did an incredible job removing 20 years of growth in our yard. Hardworking and personable they also did it at a reasonable cost. My wife and I highly recommend them. We will be using them soon to relocate a few patio trees and plant a number of fruit trees.

When I got home yesterday I had a door hanger for Mackman's tree service and called them immediately asking for a free estimate. I was called back this morning and James came within the hour. He did everything that I needed including hauling the dead wood out to the curb. My husband and I were very pleased with his service and would highly recommend him.

I'm only going to rate them based on my first experience.
James showed up at my house and gave me a great price for the work I needed done and they showed up when scheduled and completed the job as professionally as possible and the tree climber was amazing.
And as promised the clean up was good,tree limbs and branches were cut to size and the city removed them. As for the 2nd time I used them they weren't as good maybe because James was injured but they didn't do the job as professionally as promised when I tried to resolve the problem and I told it was going to cost me another $500.00 and that's where every thing changed so please get in writing what your expectations are and what they are responsible for doing and how if a problem arises who is financially responsible. These guys are a "class act". Quick to respond and very professional. Delivered a competitive bid and scheduled and completed the job on short notice. They also took the time to educate me a little on tree care and maintenance. The team cleared out several trees in my front yard (including a palm) and left the yard nicer than they found it. I would highly recommend Mackman's tree care and will use them for all my future needs. DID YOU KNOW that Mackman's also offers a free cat rescue service. Yes, true story. When the Fire department is too busy and your beloved cat is stuck in the tree, this team will come out and rescue at no charge. They do this out of kindness and a service to the community (back to a "class act).

In August 2021 we needed multiple trees trimmed and one removed when we were preparing to list our house. I called the service we usually used as well as two others and they were scheduling 2 months out. I got James Mackman's name from a tree service where he previously worked. He was out for the estimate in one day, did the work two days later, and it was the most professional job I'd had done in 17 years. Would highly recommend his tree service.

These two Gentlemens came to rescue my cat that was stuck on a tree. Very polite and respectful gentleman’s! I am so grateful for them. I recommend them if you need any tree services or if you need your cat to be rescue, they will be there right away to help you.

A few years ago our kitten was stuck in a tree all night, during a horrible rain storm I started looking for CAT RESCUE SERVICE and someone told me about Mackmans Tree Care, it was very late at night, maybe very early morning I left a message on their phone.
1st thing in the morning probably 7:30am James Mackman returned my call.
With the wind and rain storm they were buried in work, but they prioritized Rescuing our Kitten, they showed up about an hour later and even with some wind and light rain, they climbed out neighbors tree and rescued our Kitten.
I can't tell you how impressed I am by them, they put aside their work for a few hours, to RESCUE our kitten, and then I asked how much, and I couldn't believe James when he told me they don't charge for their CAT RESCUE SERVICE.
So this week when I decided it was time to get out Palm Tree 🌴 removed, I made one call and received a very reasonable price quote and asked James when they could do it, and surprisingly they were able to do it today.
I'll tell you what, these guys are GREAT!
