Lived in Temecula for over 20 years and just stopped for the first time. Justin came out to greet us and he was so great with my family. Drove us around the property, provided invaluable advice for our project, and then let the kids paint some pumpkins. We will definitely be back for our project.

Our salesman was a very nice man, however he told us the Lantana plants I bought could be separated and planted and we could get 5 plants out of each pot. When we got home and started the process you could not. We could only get 2 out of each pot. I’am disappointed we spent $116 and really only got 6 plants. 🫤

Dalton was exceptionally professional and courteous and helpful. Great plants and great health. Will definitely be back as I had never visited a moon nursery before. We visited the Murrieta location.

Maggie Teague from their Escondido nursery was knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. She took the time to show us various types of scrubs to fit our landscape. She’s quite an asset to Moon Nursery. I highly recommend her, ask for her she will be so happy to help. Liz Dunne

Moon Valley was a great experience. Tom was a big help in coming out and helping me choose trees for the slopes around the property. My original choices would not have been the right choices. I am happy with the trees I switched to after visiting the nursery and rethinking my choices.

Antonio and his crew showed up with 21 trees and got them all set in no time. Very professional and helpful with my questions. Even made some placement adjustments on the fly for me. The 15 gal trees looked bigger on the property than at the nursery, so Antonio helped me adjust the placement a bit on the day.

Would definitely recommend.

We ordered all of our plants for our yard here. The plants were in great condition. Although they messed up our order and gave us some of the wrong plants, Amanda was able to fix everything quickly and even delivered the the correct plants personally.

Moon Arborist John Montano came to our yard for visit #2 of our MVP Pro care on our King Palm. He is either based out of Murrieta or a nearby office so please make sure this gets to that office. John's service was incredible. He is super knowledgable, answered our many, many questions with enthusiasm, and his passion for caring for customer trees is so apparent. Thank you for sending arborists like John to us. (We had a much younger guy for our visit #1 and he was excellent in all these same ways. If you'd want to see who that was, we'd want this message to apply to his visit as well). Thank you for the excellent arborists you are sending. First time around worked with Anthony Gardner GM, he was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He showed me every plant and Trees on my list that I needed, He designed my yard as well and a week later everything was planted!!! one stop shop. Thank you Moon Valley

500% markup. The trees they sell should be $250 not $1250. Shopping here is kind of like buying a used car. I get everyone needs to work so I don’t fault the sales team for doing their thing. I went to another nursery near by and was astounded by the price difference.

New to the area, we relied on Moon Valley Nursery to consult us on what grows best in our area. Originally we just wanted 2 trees to obscure our neighbors view. Our expert Moon Valley Nursery consultant sold us 22 ficus nitida columns to create an evergreen privacy, "Hollywood Hedge". We nurtured these babies, they did well initially and burned to the ground. No green, no privacy. They could not acclimate to our climate. We contacted Moon 3 times and no recourse. Our investment of $9000+ dollars. I'd post photos but this sight won't allow. With Moon you pay extra to get exceptional plants and planting. Hard pressure sell, lost a ton of money. There are better options.

Update: Moon Valley Nurseries currently working with us on a resolution. I will keep you updated and post when that occurs.

I am happy to report that not only did Moon Valley Nurseries and I come to a satisfactory resolution but they actually turned the while customer experience around from interaction with management and crew. I believe that Moon Valley Nurseries has carefully considered the constructive reviews and made improvements. My experience this time around was stellar. Thanks to Toni, Chris, John and Crew. If you haven't been back to Moon Valley Nurseries for awhile, I suggest you give them another go. We've I'll go back to them again.

Such an awful experience, one star is one too many.
I received a $50 gift certificate and headed there. I learned that a $50 fruit tree from everywhere else is $300 at this place. And every plant they have seems to be much more expensive. Ill-educated with poor customer service, especially when the manager called me, the customer, a weirdo. The salesman tried to push a fertilizer on me when I was looking for a plant. When I said that pee/ura will be as effective as your fertilizer after examining the ingredients, he got very offended and walked away. To the manager and the salesman in the picture, what's really offensive is your inflated prices, your lack of integrity, pathetic and disgusting attitude.
When you see the sign they display in their parking lot, you think you actually walked into a dealership to buy a car. Final thought I wish I threw away the $50 gift card and never went there in the first place..

We had a great experience at Moon Valley. Julie came to our home and helped us build ideas for our back yard, she helped show us the package options, and we met her several times at the nursery to look at plants and choose specific ones for our yard. She was very communicative and kept in touch for all stages of the purchase. Antonio and his team installed all of our plants amazingly. It took about 90 minutes for 21 plants and two trees to be installed. He helped us find our sprinkler line, and taught us about our plants and their care. Highly recommend !!

I definitely recommend shopping at Moon nursery Murrieta California, The location is awesome. Plenty of parking and I’ve been there several times and got exceptionally good service from knowledgeable people, With smiles on their faces, what more can you ask for well I had a little challenge with one of my plants so I brought it back and met with Amanda the manager.Wow!!! She personally assisted me because everybody else was busy assisting clients. All I can tell you is she took good care of me She addressed my challenge Directlyand I could tell right away She is knowledgeable and knows exactly what she’s doing. We got everything resolved in a timely manner..

I highly recommend Moon Valley Nursery of Murrieta! Me and my fiancé came here looking for a fruit tree for our first home and from the moment we walked on the nursery we felt looked after by all the friendly staff and guided towards the best possible tree for us. Patrick the General Manager also did a really great job educating us on all the trees they had available and made our decision choosing one much easier. We ended up going with a kumquat tree and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. This was by far the best shopping experience we had out of all the nursery’s that we visited in the area and we definitely plan on returning to Moon Valley for all our planting needs.

I am so impressed with Moon Vally Nurseries! I just got 40 trees installed at my home. I worked with Thomas Anthony for months selecting the best trees for my desired use and then choosing and reserving the best specimens on the lot. Tom came out to the house on multiple occasions and made excellent recommendations. It has been a true joy to work with him. John Montano took great care with my first delivery which included the crown jewel of the lot. He involved me and my wife in every step of the planting process to ensure we had the most desirable view of our investment. Oscar Estrada managed our second delivery and gave us incredible attention and ensured we were happy and set up for future success. For both deliveries, there were 9 guys that came out. Each and every one was friendly, respectful, patient, and professional. They made quick work of the task and were careful to leave no trash behind and spray down any surfaces that had become dirty. I would like to give a special shout out to Simon. Not all of the team spoke English, which is fine, but on multiple occasions, I was able to speak with Simon and give instruction or answer a question and he was able to communicate with the rest of his team. John and Oscar provided me with detailed instructions on the care of my new trees and I feel confident that I can keep this investment alive. I think the biggest compliment is that three of my neighbors came over afterwards to admire their work and ask for their contact information. I will definitely be going back to Moon Valley Nurseries for future flowers and trees, without hesitation! Thanks Moon Valley Nurseries!

New to California, and just moved into our new home. We were quick to learn that there are many things you need to do when you build a new home - one of which is designing and installing a backyard! We did that this past summer but needed something to finish the job, and decided a tree would be the finishing touch.

We met with Louie Towkaniuk at the Murietta location, and he spent as much time as we needed to look at, ask questions about, and finally choose the tree we both loved (and more importantly) fit our budget.

Our tree was tagged, and a delivery date was set.

A few weeks later, John and his team arrived at our home with our new bottlebrush tree, and did a clean and professional installation in the spot we had previously chosen. I provided a tarp for the dirt as we have a beach pebble covered backyard (drought friendly!) and they not only placed the tree perfectly (we decided which side was the best to face which way) but they made sure the irrigation was working as it should, then removed the dirt for us, as we had no place to put it.

Our tree is happy and healthy in its new home, and we are thrilled with how awesome it looks in our new yard. I have no doubt when and if we decide to add any other trees or plantings, we will give Louie another call!

My wife and I had a great experience with Moon Valley. They were the only nursery that had any citrus in our entire region. Their customer service was incredible from the sales team to the installers: Dallin Inman was knowledgeable, energetic, helpful and responsive! Management helped navigate unforeseen challenges with grace and poise. The installation team was responsive, went the extra mile, cleaned the yard beautifully at the conclusion of the job and even switch some trees after I changed my mind in the middle of the job! The whole team truly went above and beyond! Everyone said the prices at Moon Valley were high but we got top quality trees and service. I have no regrets! You get what you pay for :-)

I took my Adult Transition Program students to Moon Valley Nursery so they could learn about plants and the job opportunities available. Amanda was super friendly during our phone conversations and we knew ahead of time that it's the busy season. Patrick and Amanda made sure they found us out in the yard and shared a ton of information. They taught us a lot about citrus, picked some lemons for us, and our crew experienced kumquats off the tree. Thanks so much for being so welcoming and informative.

The overall experience was enjoyable from selecting a tree and the type of flowers for my front yard. Tom was informative and patient when educating me on evergreen trees, caring for them, and my flower selection. Patrick also helped me with the flower selection and the transaction process. The following day I returned to add more flowers to my order, and Tom assisted me again with understanding the best choices for the zone that I live in and to achieve my landscape goals.

The following week on a Saturday morning, the Planting Crew team (John, Oscar, Anthony, Gordon, Alex, and Simon) tree arrived at my home early and energized. The team was efficient and very pleasant. The Planting Crew Managers John Montano and Oscar Estrada were exceptional about planting and the aesthetics. John did the staging first and ensured I was okay with his suggestions, and then he planted the flowers in a manner that made my entire flowerbed and entry walkway look amazing! Look at the pictures of this team’s work. I’m delighted with the outcome.

I needed something for a hedge along my back fence. Tom Anthony was so helpful and knowledgeable and took his time showing me all my options. I decided on seven Carolina Cherries. Antonio Martinez and his crew were awesome with delivery and planting of them - timely, efficient, tidy and most important, friendly and helpful with any questions. They went above and beyond. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. These guys are the best!

Finally got my plants installed! Service/sales person was great (Amanda Olson) and my driver, Antonio Martinez, who installed my plants was AWESOME! From start to finish I highly recommend using Moon Valley Nursery! Antonio made some recommendations and I ended buying MORE plants with him and he was able to come back a few days later. Antonio was great and left me with instructions on how to care for my plants. THANK YOU!
