Appliance Repair reviews in Newark, California

Arrived on time per the app, quickly analyzed the issue and resolved the problem. Took care to not damage my kitchen floor. Carefully showed me (his client) the issue and explained the solution. Great experience.

The technician HASSIB was thoroughly professional, he knew exactly what to do, he was there and was done really fast, I loved to work with people who know their JOB, I will most likely use him again if I have any problem with my Heater or Air Conditioning. BRAVO

Lorenzo was very friendly and efficient with his repair of my washer. I appreciated his timeliness and care needed to do the repair effectively.

The technician came, said what I was calling a crack was a scratch, and had me sign docs that he didn’t show me, and recommended NO fix. I later learned that Sears dies NOT cover cracks in glass stove tops. Talked with four reps before finding that out. Sears has a 1.5 rating on YELP. Their service has degraded into contracts of things they don’t cover. Poor experience all around.

Tristan is EXCELLENT. Confirmed 2pm appt time early morning, 2 updates before arrival. Had microwave door replaced and on his way in 30 min. Great rep for Sears!!

Hung did a fantastic job fixing our dryer

My 3rd attempt to get my refrigerator fixed. First person fixed the freezer portion but fridge portion wasn’t cooling or making ice, 2nd guy now has reverted it back to original problem. Whatever was in the freezer portion has melted.and not cooling at all. Making another call again to Sears repair.

Scheduled appt via home warranty for an issue with LG dryer not heating and power shutting down. Technician came and without checking concluded it was an electrical issue. I realized it’s an appliance safety mechanism to restart thermal fuse. Now i have to wait another week to get an appt via home warranty. Very inefficient.

Professional, friendly, respectful. We would highly recommend this service!

Gary did great: a real problem solver for an old furnace repair

It always seems to be cost ineffective to repair an appliance. So I worked on buying a new appliance, but the system would not allow me to have a billing address different from the delivery address. Sears lost more than $800 in revenue.

Lorenzo was very persistent in analyzing and describing the problem and how to fix it. He even let me record his description. He left all in good order.
-
The technician was good and the washer worked great the first cycle and now we are having the same problem once again. We need it to be functioning correctly all the time.
-
He was very good, friendly and showed attention to details

The first visit out was clearly a teaching mission. The 2 technitions took a little longer then usual to diagnose the problem, but they were thorough and careful.
The return visit to install the replacement part did not show up.
On the third appt, the technition did not know what he was doing. He said as much. He was a refrigerator technition and mine was a dishwasher repair.
He took apart my whole dishwasher, while reading instructions on the internet, and after an hour, he threw in the towel, and said he had to go because he didn't know what he was doing.
So, I've got appt #4 set up. I hope the next guy can fix the disaster the last guy left. Thank goodness it's under warranty!
But honestly, I feel badly for the guy. He was not having a good day. -
Excellent. He was knowledgeable, courteous and quickly fixed the problem
-
Excellent in trouble shooting the problem and fixing the issue.

Lorenzo was great. Through some contortions, he was able to squeeze behind my Kitchenaid range and get access to the lower heating element wires. He replaced the burnt connector, connected it to the heating element, closed everything up, and left me with a functioning oven.
Bravo!
What would have made this service call even easier would have been some way to tell Lorenzo, ahead of time, what the issue was and what parts might be needed.
As it was, the downdraft blower unit was a speed bump, but the heating element repair was successful anyway. The rubber bellows will have to be replaced at some time, but for the moment, the repaired oven can be used, and the downdraft system might just be somewhat degraded. -
Looks to end the appointment in any way possible. First he said I wasn't at home and ended the appointment when I was and he came nowhere near the home. Did that again when the appointment was rescheduled only this time I was outside the home and he wasn't there. He showed up 15 mins later after pretending to be there. Then he tried to get me to blindly sign a pre existing damage waiver without explaining what it was. When I refused he just left and ended the appointment. Sears is the worst. They haven't addressed my repair in 3 weeks and Vince S is a terrible technician.

The technician was efficient. The trouble was the technical support to try and make payment. It took more time to fix the technical payment method professing than the technician actually performing the dryer maintenance cleaning.
I was looking to establish a maintenance service with Sears again for other appliances like the Washer and refrigerator. But am left wondering why the system is so cumbersome -
Your technician, Samuel W - technician ID 0858662, was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I was actually afraid with him in my home. The entire time he was struggling to put the suspension rods on he used profanities and had full on conversations cussing out the machine!! He also banged parts together out of frustration! He DID NOT test my machine before he left! I just tried to use it and now water has flooded all throughout my floors!! That never happened prior to him doing whatever he did wrong!
