Malagon Legacy was referred to me by a neighboring office here in San Jose. They told me Alexis is a great communicator and quality driven. He’s been doing our offices maintenance for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with their cleanliness and attention to detail. No section on our property goes untouched and very little has to be asked of them because of their extensive experience. They are very on top of their communication and the team is very sharp and effective.

They did an awesome job transforming my front yard. Previously, we had a bunch of overgrown ivy and large bushes covering up large portions of the house. They cleaned up all the existing plants, disposed of everything properly and cleanly, and added new plants, lighting, and sprinklers. Everything was done quickly and professional. We had just purchased a house and needed to get the backyard (which was absolutely filled with weeds) redone, our sprinkler system repaired, and two fruit trees planted within a three week timeline, before we brought our new puppy home. From the moment I contacted Malagon Landscaping, Alexis, the owner, responded very quickly. He was able to come that day to assess what needed to be done. He emailed me the proposal that evening, and was able to start the project within 2 days.
We had pavers for the side yard, artificial turf in backyard, privacy screen built, general clean up ( weeds) , and mulch placed. They also power washed our old fence and stained it to look brand new! His crew did an excellent job, and are all hard working. They came on time every day, and always left the yard tidy. Alexis was always available and responsive to my texts, which was so reassuring to me. I am so very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Alexis and his crew, and I am so grateful that we found his company to do our backyard project. Do not hesitate to hire him!

Alex and his team are the best in the biz. He has a crew of knowledgeable and hard working landscapers and he will work with you to achieve whatever goals you have for your landscaping needs.
His team brought our space back from an overgrown jungle to a clean and well organized space with perfect mulch layer ready for us to plant new. Our fruit trees, hedges and cypress all were pruned to perfection.
Everything for a very reasonable rate as well.

At the end of a complete home remodel that took us a year, we decided that we wanted to upgrade our old, stained, cracking concrete front porch area. We thought we would replace it with stamped concrete but after getting a couple of bids we started thinking of extending the stone pavers in front of our garage into the front porch. We had the original pavers installed 20 years ago and we were leaning toward giving this job to the same company that did the first install - they were excellent. When Alexis learned that we wanted pavers he urged us to consider Malagon, so we requested a quote after seeing some beautiful paver work on his website. His bid was super competitive and he was very responsive and patient in explaining how he would handle several aspects of the job including rerouting downspouts and adding a paver border around our existing hardscaping. He is a clear and consistent communicator and makes you feel taken care of. The crew was very efficient, hardworking and respected our property. Even with a rain delay of several days after the demo was done, they finished in less than two weeks and did a fantastic job. The combination of price, quality and efficiency was superior. They came back to touch up the stucco exterior paint and fence stain once everything was done. Our front yard upgrade is amazing and we feel like our remodel is finally complete! I would use Malagon Legacy Landscaping again in a heartbeat!
