Samuel did a great job diagnosing the issue. He then cleaned up the unit and we did a few test runs to make sure it all worked, which it did.

The water heater in our house was leaking, so we called them in the morning, and they were able to come over and replace the unit later that day. Super fast and efficient! Joel was the one who came over and helped us. He was really patient with explaining any concerns we have and great work with replacing the water heater. Great service and they are super helpful!

The technician came to inspect the replacement of the water heater and spent time to explain the various options. I told him the quote is higher than some other quotes I got. Then he put me through the manager and I got a great deal. The work was done the same day and I am very happy.

Came home one night to find we had no hot water. Looking into it further, found that our 10 yr water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. Called a couple water heater companies and found that Payless Water Heaters had the better pricing for replacement by approximately 15%. Within a day, the service personnel, Anthony, came and replaced it with within about couple hours. He was quite personable, professional and knowledgeable about the tasks that needed to be done.. Our replacement was a little more complicated as we had a recirculating pump. He plumbed the whole system quite neat and cleanly. I would use the company again.

Update: 6 months later… Woke up this morning to find no hot water and water in the basin below the water heater. My assumption was the new water heater had sprung a leak and was sniffing out the pilot light. I called Payless Water Heaters and within a few hours I had a service personnel, Joel. Within 15 minutes Joel found the problem… an uncommon pinhole in the water supply line to the water heater. He replaced the line drain the water basin and within another 20 minutes, I once again at hot water. (All under warranty.) Great troubleshooting on Joel’s part. With their great service and quick problem resolution I highly recommend Payless Water Heaters for your water heater needs.

Dead water heater this morning. Payless was recommended by our neighbor so we decided to give them a call. Joel arrived, went over options, and had the replacement done same day. We are extremely happy with the service and will use them again.

At first I was dreading that my old water heater was 10 years old and definitely needed placing as it was pooling water at the bottom. However, Payless Water Heaters made it a very pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations!

Their first specialist, Mikey, was super friendly and helpful in giving me explanations of the issue and what my options are.

The second specialist, Joel, who did the replacement, was also super friendly and professional. He did a spectacular with the replacement and even cleaned up the area around! At the end of the job, he also explained all the information I need to know to operate the water heater if need be.

The office assistant was also super helpful and giving clear instructions and heads-up prior to the specialists' arrival.

Lastly, from the job they did to all the great service and interactions, I'd say I got a GREAT value of this repair experience and would highly recommend anyone looking to have their water heater serviced!

They replaced the water heater in 2.5 hours, had all equipments ready and organized. Work was also done in a professional way. Explained the financial aspects and offers properly.

Our water heater was not producing hot water. The burner will turn on but won’t stay lit. We called Payless Water Heaters and received excellent service. Initial recommendation was to change the thermostat but since the unit is 13+ years old we opted to change the entire unit for peace of mind. (We had a previous experience from a rental house where in water heater was overheating & leaking thus creating a mess in the garage. Very inconvenient to deal with! ) Good thing we ask for service quotes before finally choosing this company. Scheduling was easy, competitive pricing & options, installation & answers questions w/ regards to maintenance. The staff gives updates if there is a delay when technician is on his way or running late. Also, this company is local. Their office is in Fremont close to Tesla. Friendly, courteous & professional technician (Anthony) came & installed the new unit. Less than 3 hours we have hot water running. Overall excellent service & highly recommend this company!

Payless Water Heaters (Luis B.) was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He provided our Noritz water box with a full service which needed an overall maintenance and flush out. Glad to have this necessary service done - thank you Luis.

Mike showed up on time, inspected our water heater and gave us options and estimates. Very professional and he answered all of my many questions. We chose the repair option and he had the parts with him so he got to work and was finished in about 30 minutes. Testing it with the new parts showed it was now working properly. Highly recommended!

Issues with Hot Water and Water Heater. Contact the company late Thursday evening and the engineer was at the Condo by 10:00am following day and fitted a new Water Heater. Extremely Professional Service!

So initially these guys came in and quoted a bit high in comparison to the 4 other places but they met me at the lowest price offered. Armondo did the install and from what I can tell he did a great job. He was also informative when I asked questions about what things were. I do wish he would have wiped the my epoxied floor after he finished up. The water that spilled during the removal process dried up but it was clearly pretty dirty. Didn't take me long to mop it up tho. Maybe I'm just nitpicking. Anyways I would use and recommend them again.

We called them yesterday and they are available to come and check our water heater (which has been leaked and rusted) tomorrow morning. Jacob, the technician, was very helpful with lots of guidance and did the replacement in just 2 hours. Our hot water is back immediately.

Joel H was great. Arrived early, did a quick assessment (~15 mins) explained the situation and answered my questions about our malfunctioning tankless water heater. Not only did he instill trust but he also put in an ethical bid which was $6k less than Jazz Plumbing. A+ and definitely calling them back in a year for maintenance.

I tried other plumbing companies in the past, but I found that Payless Water Heaters did a great job overall gave me a quote that was reasonable. I did experience a couple of hiccups with their work, but when I call to address this issue, they were prompt to come by and rectify it.
