I would give them 6 stars if I could. Most people (like myself) know little to nothing about the detail’s & requirements of tree trimming. So when a company like Ace Tree is thorough, detailed and transparent in their communication, it makes life much easier. Great communication, fair price, very professional and accommodating at the job site. I will never use another company for any of my arborist needs.

James S. and his crew did a great job on some land I have up in Clearlake. If you need any tree work or landscaping, or even lot cleanup, James's Ace Tree Solutions is a "Can Do" operation! I live in San Francisco, and coordinated the entire job with James via telephone, email, and instant messaging. James sent photos of the work as he was doing it, and also when complete. The work James and crew performed resulted in a clean "Bill of Health" from the Clearlake Code Enforcement Bureau. I am glad I found James and Ace Tree Solutions and plan on hiring them when and if any further work is needed. Oh, and James is totally organized and takes the time to discover and clearly plan the exact work needed. James met the cost estimate and project timeline. I couldn't have asked for more!

These guys are professional in all ways. Got an immediate response to my request for a visit and a quote, they came out at the scheduled time, did a great job, consistently checking with me as to how I liked what they were doing, and they cleaned up well after the job. Usually a tree trim looks semi-junk until leaves and branches grow back in. For my job, it all looked way better that very day. James, the owner, says he will not consider the job finished until the customer is completely happy, and I believe that's how he operates.
