I met Cyclony 30 years ago and have used him every since. He and his crew are awesome. I made a horrible mistake and use a tree service that was working on a house across the street and they butchered one of my trees. Never again. I am very particular about my trees because I've planted all of them. Not sure what happened to Anna.

After having had experience with hiring a variety of contractors, doing business with Hala’s tree care was the worst by any standards. Their degree of unprofessionalism is astounding. Besides not wearing mask or socially distancing, they left behind an unfinished work after taking the money for it.

The promise was to remove all the brush along the fence of the property, which included the removal of the roots, the old wooden fence, and hauling away all the trash and the green waste.

Rodney was condescending and rude. After promising to finish the job in one day and failing to do so, he demanded the payment and practically bullied me into giving him the money. Subsequently, on the second day, Rodney started backtracking on his promises, falsely claiming that certain plants weren’t included and he wasn’t going to remove them.
When the agreement was originally made, Rodney’s exact words were “I will clean everything out and it will look brand new”. The word “everything “ was used repeatedly and there were no particular plants that weren’t included in the removal.
Rodney started demanding more money for the job he initially agreed to do. The bottom line is that if what we were offering to pay for the work wasn’t enough, he could’ve simply said no and we would’ve gone our separate ways. Instead, Rodney accepted the payment, gave his word and in the end didn’t keep it.

Hala's Tree Services is very professional, trustworthy, dependable and punctual. I trust them with all my tree works. So, I want to make a comment about one bad reviews about Hala's Tree Services is from Ana Saluta left a bad review. Ana is confused about Hala's Tree Services. She hired Rodney Hala to do a job for her and Rodney Hala has no affiliation with Hala's Tree Services. She left a bad because she is so confused about the company she hired. The company she hired Hala's Tree Care, Rodney Hala is the owner. This page belongs to Hala's Tree Services NOT Hala Tree Care. Please, Ana check your facts before writing your bad review, because you are damaging somebody else's reputation.

This family owned company is the best. I administer a Catholic Church and School within around 10 acres property. They did a very good job with trimming many of trees and cutting down some. The best part is that it was so easy to adjust plans and work out a different way of getting the job order done with them. As I told my Business Manager, these people from the Hala Tree Cutting Service are just very nice people.

DO NOT USE TOP UNIT TREE SERVICE - they do not adhere to what they specify on their invoice / quote and do whatever the hell they want too and then wonder why you are not thrilled with the work THEY DECIDED TO DO!! Even when you are on the premises and tell them DO NOT weed wack everything to the ground!! Walk out tell them to STOP and yet they do what they want anyway - and of course expect to be paid in full!!! They are no longer welcome on my property!!!! Cheryl Lomonaco

Top Unit Tree Service just turned our neglected, weed-filled yards (front and back) into a delight. George and his team worked hard for two days, first removing weeds, roots, and stumps, then making the yard beautiful with some key plantings.

On his first visit, George asked what our vision was. Then he and his team worked hard to create it for us. Our budget didn’t allow for every little thing on the wish list (yet), but George managed to get all the important things done at a fair price. We highly recommend him.

tl;dr: if you want FAST, DEPENDABLE, and QUALITY WORK, look no further. These guys get it done.

Top Unit Tree Service went above and beyond--shout out to these local boys David and George for taking care of all my tree headaches.

Called on a late Wednesday morning for a free estimate and in less than an hour David was at my house and ready to go. Showed him all the areas of work I was trying to get done, and David gave me a no frills price that was a couple hundred bucks cheaper than the other two companies I reached out to, so of course I said, "Say less, let's do it".

I was expecting work to start the next day since it was a spur of the moment estimate, but David started work immediately and cleared out the side walkway to my backyard and all the weeds, shrubs, and fig tree back there that same afternoon. It went from a mess that my dog would get stuck in if he ventured to deep to a wide open and clean space.

The next day at 8:00AM, Top Unit Tree was at my pad with their equipment in tow, trimmed down the overgrown calamansi tree I wanted to keep and completely removed and grinded down the fig tree I wanted gone. They were all cleaned up and packed away by 10:30AM. Told them I needed to leave my house by noon due to some prior obligations, but they got all of it done with plenty of time to spare.

100% satisfied with the price, service, and transparency of everything. Would def use again and would highly recommend.
