Reviews of local pros in Oceanside, California

The two gentlemen that helped me were extremely helpful. Even though they didn’t have what I needed in stock (I have some specific conditions to work around in my garden), they took the time to make recommendations and even show me photos of things that would work. I appreciated the service so much that I purchased a small house plant that I was not shopping for :) I’ll definitely be back for future needs!

Amazing selection, amazing service, and good pricing! Highly recommend checking it out if you're a plant lover! Family owned so please go support your local neighbor!

I’m a new north county resident starting my plant collection. Plant play was my first stop and i’m so thankful. The gentleman with the glasses, i’m sorry I forgot your name, is amazing. So knowledgeable from years of experience. All of the plants I’ve purchased are thriving. You won’t regret your visit here!

We loved shopping at Plant Play Carlsbad for years. Now, in Oceanside, even better! I am thrilled that Mike and Sergio found the perfect location in South Oceanside. Their store has really “classed up the neighborhood!” Congratulations Gentlemen!

Highly recommend! Sergio was so kind & insightful!! Been on the hunt for a go to plant store & I have officially found one! Prices are super reasonable!

Wow! This place has so many cool plants and beautiful pots! The shop owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well! Highly recommend, really good prices too!

Sergio and Plant Play Gardens is incredible. I went there looking for something that I couldn't kill that was suitable for apartment life, low maintenance, moveable, and pretty. And he helped me pick out the perfect plant. Plant play was affordable and had SO many options. It's such a neat little place as well. Thank you Sergio for helping find a plant to help me remember my daughter lily!

Super amazing owner, Sergio- customized a plant gift and delivered it

My favorite plant store! Great selection and the workers are always so helpful and kind!

Super nice guys! I found two plants that I did not have. I have 32 varieties of succulents now! I just know I can always walk in here and find more that I do not have, in the process of trying to make more room on both porches now as I will return here, such a pleasant experience!

Mike and Sergio make Plantplay a welcome feast for eyes and senses from eye catching container gardens to the calming sound of beautiful water fountains all for your purchasing pleasure to make it your own at home. I have been a patron for about 15 years and average a couple visits a month. My home greenery is gorgeous thanks these two creative owners.

I only regret driving by this little piece of heaven in the past. Mike & Sergio have that wonderful combination of charm and expertise that makes for a sublime experience. Prices are reasonable for a lovely collection of appropriate plants for your garden. Highly recommended!

Great selection of healthy plants. Mike and Sergio are very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Beautiful selection of pots and fountains too. If you are looking for plants, make this your first stop. Will be back soon.

This is always a super fun place for my husband and me to visit. It's simply enchanting!!! We love Mike and Sergio's great personality, mild manners, and positve attitude. They are extremely knowledgable on plants and have a collection of the most unique plants! They also have a few of the cutest and most unusual looking chickens walking around.

Very friendly, chatty (I personally love this in a plant store), and knowledgeable. The man helping us is an obvious plant lover, and gave such wonderful, palatable advice.

All of their plants look super healthy as well!

Today was my first time visiting plant play and let me just say that these gentlemen are the most sweetest people and so informative they are very knowledgeable about all plants and so friendly to help in anything that you may need to learn! Thank you Sergio for being so kind to us we love our new plants and our plant stand!💃🏻❤️Kat & Perla

The owners are the nicest people ever. They’re super knowledgeable about plants and it’s obvious they truly care about their plants and their customers. They will also help you if you need help with any plant you purchased here. I exclusively buy my houseplants here.

Amazing selection for a tiny shop. The owner is incredibly helpful and will take the time to talk about different kinds of plants that would work for you, and really wants to help you learn about them so they can thrive in your home.

This place is awesome, couldn't be more satisfied with all my plants! Very reasonable prices and exceptional customer service as well. These guys rock, glad to support a small local business like this one

Super helpful, friendly, and caring service. Delivering beautiful gardens, remembering and supporting each customer long after. If for nothing else, this place is worth a visit just to see what truly happy life looks like.

Out of all the plants I purchased from various local stores, only the ones from Plant Play have thrived. The owners are very patient and will educate you on the plants, are honest about what to expect from them, and how to properly care for them. They even helped me with plants I had not purchased from them!

What a gem! We found this shop based on reviews while in town from out of state, and went back a second day. The shop keeper was kind, knowledgeable, and didn't mind the four kids trailing along. We left with four plants, and truly feel like we have the information and confidence to care for them. We'll definitely be stopping in every time we're in town!
