I had Ramon and his team come out to our home in Azusa and handle a full paver driveway, backyard patio, and a U-shaped BBQ island. From the beginning, Ramon was easy to communicate with and really understood what we were trying to do.
The paver work came out great everything is level, clean, and looks like it was done right. The BBQ island turned out even better than we expected. The layout of the U-shape makes it super functional and it looks like something you’d see in a magazine.
What I appreciated most was how smooth the whole process was. Ramon stayed on top of everything and made sure the job got done the right way.
Definitely recommend if you’re in Azusa and looking for someone reliable who does quality work.

By far the best company for custom BBQ Islands in the Inland Empire. Ramon and his team are amazing to work with. They provide top notch service, outstanding communication, and amazing attention to detail. Working with them allowed me to buy exactly what I wanted for appliances and accessories without the corporate markup other companies charge. Their labor and material fees for the island were reasonable and the got the job done in a timely manner. I am extremely happy with the finished product and grateful I was able to add value to my home with this custom outdoor kitchen and will be able to enjoy it for years to come. I hired Land X Landscape Construction for a patio project that included pavers and a gas line. My experience raised serious safety and compliance concerns.

The project involved defective workmanship, an unpermitted gas line installation, and was left incomplete. These are not minor issues.

I later confirmed through the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) that the company’s license was expired at the time of contracting. CSLB has issued citations that include failure to obtain permits, departure from trade standards, and contracting with an expired license.

Although the business describes this as “minor corrections,” these violations were formally documented, and I was awarded restitution and a court judgment.

Public CSLB records show that the license for Land X Landscape Construction Inc. was expired at the time of contracting, while a separate license (Privado Landscape) is listed as active. These are different entities.

This matters because if the company you hire is not properly licensed and bonded under its own name, you may not have the protections typically available through a contractor’s bond if something goes wrong.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company:
• verify license status directly with CSLB
• confirm permits are properly obtained and approved
• ensure the contractor listed on your contract is the same entity holding the active license and bond
