This company did some AC work for me in addition to the contract job they had to remodel a bathroom for my disabled son through the ALTA Regional center. I did my best to not to write a bad review for them for a long time due to their positive reviews, but every time I learned something new their worker did that was incompetent and lazy, it just in the end was way too much to not go addressed. Here are a few of the things they did wrong:

    1. Their worker Bret Sullivan was the main worker at my house working the project. The project was supposed to take a maximum of 8 weeks. The goal was 4. It took over 3 months and still everything was not done.

    2. Bret showed up at 10am, left at 3pm and no exaggeration smoked 50% of the time he was here sitting in his truck in front of my house even though we had discussed I don't want workers smoking in front of my house.

    3. The county building inspector had to come back 3 times because he didn't do the work right (delaying the project). The inspector was here literally educating him on what he needed to do to make it right - he should already know this stuff.

    4. The first day he turned the plumbing on in the bathroom, it leaked. Day 1.

    5. The hardware installed in the shower was installed lazily and the cover plates all came off within 2 weeks of use. He didn't bother
to tighten them. With a wrench and a cloth so they wouldn’t be scratched. They are made this way, to be attached this way.

    6. The toilet installed has lid rubber dampeners for under the seat. He threw them away. I had to go buy more and put them in myself.

    7. The framed mirror in the bathroom had a huge piece of drywall cut out behind the mirror. He never bothered filling the big hole in the drywall and refinishing it. A couple months after the work was done the metal mesh that you use to redo drywall fell out from behind the mirror - that's how I found out there was a huge hole behind the mirror.

    8. The cabinetry installed next to the sink has a massive hole (18 inches by 24 inches) behind the thin cardboard siding that was never replaced and refilled leaving air currents coming into the bathroom.

    9. The heater installed in the bathroom was not put over the shower stall because he was too lazy to climb into attic in the right spot to install it. It blows and is placed above the toilet so the hot air doesn’t go in the shower.

    10. The paint job was never completed correctly and other workers had to come back and redo the paint and the finish pieces on below the sink the bathroom.

    11. They installed a new vent and a new air vent in the the closet of the master bedroom - he left all kinds of materials up there including large roles of tape, wraps, over 8 feet of torn ventilation with the insulation around it. He also moved the existing insulation around and never put it back allowing cold air to get into my house running up my bill.

    12. While working outside in my side yard when cutting the tiles he threw all the plastic pieces into my bushes (over 50 of them). When winter came it was clear they had been too lazy to walk 5 feet and place them in the garage can directly next to them.

    13. The tile in the shower wasn't done properly and had dark colorations in it and wasn't installed correctly in the wall corner because he didn't know how to complete the work correctly and didn't seal the tile when his work was done.

    14. The shower cubby for shampoo bottles has over a 15 degree slope out so bottles fall from it.

    15. The first time around the shower lip was flat and water ran from the shower all over the floor. This should have had a slope towards the shower.

    Can’t make this stuff up.

Since this review, the owner of the company did reach out to “make things right”. The other workers from this company seemed good and straight forward, but this work by Bret seemed intentionally negligent. I hope it is addressed by the owner.

The Technician, Nick was professional and checked both of my units and I was very pleased with his work. He also installed a new thermostat as the old one was complicated to use.
