We have a stacked washer/dryer in a small closet and I kept noticing a strange smell (that smells hot) when we washed towels. Called Marble Dryer Cleaning. Turns out that the back flexible duct was pinched and as lint traveled through it, it got stuck and started to overheat. They did a dryer vent cleaning and replaced it with a better connector to ensure it's more secure. No more smell! Much safer! Thanks!

Our house is situated on a bit of a hill in Pacific Palisades, so the wind really howls around the side of the house where the laundry exhaust vent is located. I found that the exterior flap was jammed with a combination of dead leaves and lint, which was leading to the dryer getting stuck mid-cycle. I was concerned that the back pressure might damage the motor, so I called out Marble Dryer Cleaning for a check-up.
The technician was very polite and professional, employing a long-range brush system to clear the entire horizontal run through the crawl space. He dislodged a large amount of debris that I could not reach. Also, he adjusted the louvers on the outside so they wouldn't get jammed by the wind anymore. After this dryer vent cleaning, the machine works much more efficiently and the laundry room no longer has that humid, heavy feeling. It was a very thorough, clean job.
