Quick, courteous and overpriced. Replaced two capacitors and charged me $500. Invoice had no detail and when I called and asked for detail I was told I'd have to call "the shop". Spoke with a friend who is in the business and was told charge should have been $300.

From initial quote with Linn to installation (1day new AmStd 5T) all went well with $200 in tips as their team was well deserving. PD Air installed last Trane in 1995, lasted 27yrs. Same professional quality I remembered.

Found these guys by accident, thought I was calling another a/c person, but had texted PD a/c. Spoke with Jean and Liz, who I thought at the time were trying to upset me bc a/c was blowing hot air, and it was always freon that was needed. I was just a nervous wreck, bc all i see are $$$ signs....Anyway, Adina comes, my building needed an additional person bc an extension on the ladder was needed, so they assured me it would happen today, even got a phone call from the office explaining everything. Lin showed up with Adina within half an hour, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's not the conden$er....Adina knows her stuff big time. Before she even got on the roof, she had an idea of what it was or wasn't. It was some capacitor thing (she explained it was like a battery, I had 2 of them). She capped them off so if for the next time, it would be easier. Ok, they know what they mean. This was my 1st time by accident with them. Big thank yous to: Jean Liz, Lin and Adina....they got back to me in reasonable time, when they said they would. This company knows their stuff!

Air Conditioner failed during 120 degree temperature after former AC contractor canceled routine maintenance appointment. Tried calling AC company that installed unit and found out they had gone out of business. Company that assumed services sent a technician that wanted to sell a new compressor and would not honor manufacturers warranty. Palm Desir Air Conditioning and Heating Co. sent Damien Hernandez, that diagnosed and repaired entire system by replacing defective parts and adding freon. This was accomplished in one day and resulted in over $4,000 ins savings. Definitely a 5 star company.
