Ricardo and his crew are great ! Professional from start to finish, on time, leave everything neat and clean. I highly recommend them and it takes a lot for me to say that ! I have used them numerous times for our 2nd home. They are trustworthy - they have access to my home when I am not there and I have never had any issues. He is resourceful- making suggestions to improve things. This last time he had to correct some big issues left behind by the electrician hired by my solar company. This is my GO-TO electrician!

Best experience for having to deal bad house problems. Arrived timely and very professional. Needed diagnostic services and was quoted a min, mid, and max amount, depending on level of diagnostic and repair needed. Came in at mid range level and repairs made quickly and knowledgeably. Only raves for these guys!

Man, I’m so glad I found Electrician for Hire. I had a power issue with my breaker. They came right over and took care of it within an hour. I had people coming to visit by 2pm and the job was done by 9am. Great work getting my system back up and running! I greatly appreciate the help and support. We are so glad we called Rick and team. We were prepared to replace 3 pendant lights because one of them had been broken for months. They determined it was just a transformer and replaced it in 10 minutes. Much appreciated. They will definitely be our first call whenever we have electrical issues.

I am so appalled by the way the owner, Rick, treated my family that I am taking the time out of my day to write this review.
I have never, ever, experienced such inconsiderate, rude and hatred service from a business in my life.
We have used Rick’s services several times and paid thousand of dollars. This time around, we were skeptical of the invoice hovering over $600 with less than 30 minutes of engagement service to fix a wire and install 2 lights.
We were quoted $100 for the electrician to come out and expected to pay some labor for the need but this price was unreasonable. We were never given a quote of the light fixtures and service before having to sign a “agree to service” prompt and not being walked through any part of the invoice or final bill.
When we called to inquire of the specifics of this invoice, the owner Rick harassed my husband and I. Interestingly enough, later he correct our invoice saying his employee (who actually provided fair service) incorrectly entered a code therefore the hike in pricing?
Not once did Rick apologize, not once did Rick thank us for our business and not once did Rick acknowledge the mistake.
In fact, he went out of his way to yell at me, his employee and threaten to report our home!
He quoted “we need to make a profit here!”
I mean what kind of mindset is that, to deliberately yell at his customer for his mistake then flat out admit the unjust invoicing.
We have paid and will never return.

Our family chose Electrician for Hire simply from the 4.9 google reviews but man are we disappointed.

It is nice to have a great electrician to call like Rick. Didnt have a major problem but felt better having Rick check issues i was having. Julia at the office is always pleasant to deal with.

This is the second time I've used Electrician for Hire. Obviously if I used them before I was happy with what they did; the same was true today. They are friendly, they know what they are doing, they arrived earlier than they said they would, which was great for my schedule, and are just great people to deal with. If you need an electrician in Palm Springs, these are the people to go to!

This was our second time working with Electrician for Hire. When we initially called to request a quote, they were responsive. (That's rare these days. Why do so few businesses call back?) Rick and Ricky (I hope I have their names right) were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The quality of the work was great. They've moved to the top of our electricians' contact list.

I had an EV charger installed, and it was a loose job. They installed breakers not meant for my panel. The charger unit burned out early, and could have started a fire while charging my car. Rick showed me where I had multiple breakers that weren't proper. It cost me much more to than it did the first time, but I feel safe from fire now.
I have learned my lesson again that you save when you pay for a professional licensed electrician.

I've used this electrician for over 10 years, he's been reliable and trustworthy every time. His prices are always fair, and he offers cost saving options when he can. Rick is polite and friendly, does a great job, and is a dream come true as someone who owns an older home with older wiring. 5 stars every times, we highly recommend him.

They did great work. Rick rearranged my panel to accommodate a breaker for our new hot tub and got it running quickly. Saved us money and were very professional.

I scheduled an appointment with them and then they called me to have me reschedule it because it was a holiday. They're telling me that the price is now more than what the website says for the day that I booked. They will not honor the price that's on the website even when I use their own scheduling system. And then the next appointment that they could offer me was 5 days later because supposedly they are booked but they will not honor the price that they had on the website at all. There are a bunch of thieves and crooks. They need to update their system to reflect that it's a holiday or block it out not just let someone book an appointment with them at a price and then have it emailed to the customer that it's going to be that price even if it's a holiday.

Rick showed up promptly to take a look at my Tesla EV charger that had been giving me issues. He went through everything very methodically checking to see what could be causing the problem as it was difficult to know if it was the wiring or the EV charging equipment itself. He found a few problems from the original installation which was done by another electrician. I asked him to send me a quote to rectify those issues along with installing a dedicated EV charger. While I haven't made a final decision, there is no doubt in my mind that I would call Electrician For Hire again when having any type of an electrical problem. Courteous and professional is the fastest way to gain my trust.

Have used electrician for hire several times. Julie is very helpful with scheduling and Rick is always on time and let us know that some of what we thought we needed we didn’t. We appreciate that he gives us good advice!

Fast installation and quality installation, i will use them in the future when i need an electrician.

I was having a couple issues with an outlet and a few light switches in our new house. I messaged this business on a Saturday and Ricky was able to come out the very next Monday! He was able to diagnose and repair every single issue we were concerned about, and everything was fixed in less than 30 mins. I could tell Ricky had a lot of knowledge and expertise. He was very transparent about the pricing as well. Overall, it was a quick and easy visit and we are very satisfied! I am definitely going to use their services again in the future for any upgrades!

They treat your home and items in it with care. They are polite and thoroughly clean up after themselves . You don't realize how important these things are until you've had someone work in your home who does not behave this way. These guys were great. Sometimes people can be hesitant to hire a small shop. But in this case, it's the best possible service you can expect. They had very fair price and were extremely polite and professional, including Julie in their office. The fixed some bad outlets and replaced an outlet for my parents. I could not be more pleased. I will definitely use them again, and have my parents call them by default if they have any electrical needs at their home. But they were awesome and I HIGHLY recommend them.
