Tree reviews in Paso Robles, California

I have some pretty good size trees on my property and knew I could not climb up and start cutting so I called different trimmers in Paso area. Eduardo came over to give a quote and was on time. His crew showed up on time and went right to work, great communication with these guys on just what I wanted. Wow, they never stopped once, just for a lunch! All the trees were trimmed up fantastic, and the cleanup was great! Very happy with the results and the price was VERY reasonable ...highly recommended.

Eduardo was very responsive, He and his crew are professionals, knowledgeable and very efficient trimming large trees and cleaning. They are up to date with the best equipment for any project. Highly recommended!

After calling Cal West, Eduardo contacted us very quickly and came out the next day to give us an estimate. His polite crew did exactly what we asked and even carefully moved our yard art and patio furniture out of the way of falling limbs before starting the job. Highly recommend.

Eduardo and his crew were excellent! I would highly recommend. I wish I had before and after pictures to share. I cannot say enough positive. Polite, responsive, clean, exceeded expectations on everything. Very reasonable quote, timely, efficient; we will hire no one else.

I requested a quote and Eduardo came out that same day. The next week his crew arrived early and ready to work. I had 15 oak trees, 3 pine trees and 16 olive trees that were totally overgrown & needed a full trim. Eduardo and his guys work tirelessly, and completed the job in one day. I couldn't be happier with the way the trees look. I would highly recommend CalWest! Thank you Eduardo!

We live in Los Osos and need to hire a good tree service to clean up our lot. We had several companies come out and after meeting with Eduardo, we selected Cal-West Tree Service. Eduardo was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry, arrived on time and took the time to discuss our project in detail. He was extremely helpful and advised how best to trim and shape our oak, eucalyptus and shrubs to make them look awesome and clean. He also took care of all the tall grass and weed abatement on our lot. We agreed on the scope of work and he provided a fair estimate. He and his crew did an absolutely superb job! We couldn’t be more happy with how everything looks…just beautiful and expertly done. We can with great confidence, recommend Eduardo and Cal-West Tree Service. We’ll be calling them for all our tree service needs. Thank you Eduardo! -Jones Family

CalWest Tree Services was fantastic from start to finish. I submitted a request and received a very quick response via text. A few days later they showed up right on schedule, and within an hour the tree was completely gone.

They clearly care about the work they do, they took great care to protect our yard and house, were efficient and professional, and cleaned everything up afterward. They even ground down the stump, leaving the area looking clean and tidy.

Excellent communication and excellent service. I would absolutely recommend CalWest Tree Services to anyone in Paso Robles.

Overall we had a good experience with CalWest Tree Service. I contacted the company and Eduardo answered. I sent pics of our stump that needed to be removed and he sent me back a quote, I reached back out later in the day to confirm service and we agreed on a time and date a few days later. The technician showed up at the wrong time over an hour early, waking up our household. I called Eduardo to clarify confusion after the technician said he was instructed to show up at this time by Eduardo. I called Eduardo, leaving a message and text. Didn’t hear back after a short while so had the technician call Eduardo to clear up time confusion. Eduardo answered and I was able to speak with him. Eduardo said he had other jobs to do and this time worked for his schedule and jobs that he had, I reminded him we did not agree to this. He asked if I wanted technician to wait to start until agreed upon scheduled time, I said since he was there and had woken up the household already we may as well begin. Our technician Jesus did a fantastic job of removing stump and getting the best depth he could get with his machine under the conditions of it being a raised planter. From start to finish it took about 2 1/2 hours. Other than initial start time communication confusion by Eduardo, CalWest did a great stump removal job and at a great price. Jesus cleaned up afterwards and we had them leave the woods chips behind. We would definitely use CalWest Tree Services again and recommend them to others.

Wonderful job done. Went above and beyond to help me think through what was the best course of action. additionally, while they’re here they continued to modify the plans in a positive way.
