Great variety of plants and decent green house

Good variety of plants- both flowers and vegetables available here , this is how our patio looks after a visit to Sloat Garden :)

Staff is very nice and very helpful. This place is huge and has a lot of options. I went in looking for edibles and plants that attract butterflies. Lots to chose from. They also have a really neat room with tropical/indoor plants. Lots of parking too!

We tried to exchange the Avocado plant that died which they have a year warranty because when we asked that if it died after we plant them in our backyard they said they will replace it with another Avocado Plant if we bring it but they denied that it was from there Sloat Garden because we didn’t had receipt or anything to prove that it was from Sloat Garden.It was a birthday gift for my wife from her Employer.We lost the receipt or bucket or tag they were looking for to confirm that we had brought it from here.But we know we got it from here because my wife’s Employer recommended it and she bought it on her birthday from there.
Even the manager who looked in their system and said they couldn’t find the receipt or anything in their system was outright ridiculous and lie.She lied in our face.Couldn’t believe ourselves.
We learned from our mistake that we must have a supporting documents or buckets or tag or something otherwise they will outright deny even though I think they knew it was their product and it is in their system.
Now thank you Sloat Garden but we are not doing business anymore with Sloat Garden Pleasant Hill.

Nice nursery, definitely on the pricier side. Very healthy plants and do a good job keeping everything maintained. Little on the warmer side.

This place is great and has a nice selection of plants, pottery, soil, pesticides,etc. I got my first ever plant here, a dwarf Sanseveiria. It's doing very well despite having forgotten about it. I recently repotted another plant and got the pot and a moss trellis here. Very nice employees also.

A plant lover and gardener's delight! I love their wide selection of beautiful healthy houseplants situated in a large brightly lit area. They had lots of pots in different sizes and colors and outdoor decor. One stop shop for good quality plants.

Loved this garden center. We were visiting for a week and wanted to provide a thank you housewarming gift for our hosts. We selected a beautiful jasmine plant at a great price. We wanted to have it delivered. Although they don't deliver, they offered a wonderful "will-call" option that met our needs perfectly. The entire staff got involved in decorating the pot and executing our plan. Our hosts were delighted by the lovely, fragrant gift.

Marlene and her team helped us reimagine our front yard. They removed our lawn and now we have a lovely habitat garden which attracts bees, birds and butterflies . We also use their knowledgeable maintenance services. People are wowed by our garden and so are we and we are pesticide free too.

Used Calvin Craig Landscaping to design and landscape entire lot, including driveway, concrete work, large pergola, bbq area, lighting, fencing, irrigation and planting. They were extremely professional; completed the work ahead of schedule; crew was pleasant and efficient (on-site manager was terrific). Very pleased with the result and highly recommend.

Calvin Craig and his team did an outstanding job transforming our front yard. We had worked with a designer to create a landscaping plan that included trees, ground cover, irrigation, hardscaping (like pouring concrete), lighting and a fence. Craig provided a fair proposal which he accepted. He brought a work team of about 4-5 to carry out the installation over 4-6 weeks, and also helped us with sourcing. He was flexible when we needed to adjust plant choices and colors.

His crew was always on time, professional, and left the site clean every day. Calvin was great to work with—he kept us updated throughout the project and gave insightful recommendations, especially given his knowledge of the Walnut Creek area. He managed everything seamlessly. The final result exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Calvin and look forward to working with him again.
