Very happy with the service. Based on a conversation, the job was diagnosed with a possible problem. When he came to the house to fix the fridge there were no surprises.

Tim was very helpful and honest about the repairs I needed done to my dryer. While other companies were difficult to get a hold of or gave crazy quotes Tim told me exactly what I needed no bs no problem.

Excellent service and knowledgeable technicians. Dude was working in 100+ degree heat trying like hell to fix our washer, finally got it fixed after a few trips out. Vitaly is the man!

Had a dishwasher needing install, they were extremely helpful and communicative of what the issue was. Even though parts were missing from the install kit, they went above and beyond to go pick up the missing parts on two trips to a store to get it completed same day!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

If you're reading this, you've found the appliance repair company you're looking for. Very professional, knowledgable, honest, and great service.

I first used Good Guy Appliance about a year ago to repair my dishwasher. Tim did an excellent job, and it's still running perfectly.

More recently, I had an issue with my 20+ year-old Thermador gas cooktop. The extra-low simmer burners stopped working, though the regular burners still worked. I tried diagnosing it myself and suspected the simmer control board. Unfortunately, since the cooktop is so old, the part is no longer manufactured. I even sent my board to a refurbishment company, but they said it couldn't be repaired due to a proprietary chip failure. I bought a used board from a reputable eBay seller, installed it, and still no luck.

At that point, I called Good Guy Appliance. Vitaliy came out, was courteous and professional, and listened to everything I'd tried. After checking the unit and doing some research, he agreed the likely culprit was the control board and confirmed the part was discontinued. He even helped me search for alternative sellers on eBay and suggested trying another board. I ordered a replacement, installed it and it worked! (Tip: if you buy parts on eBay, make sure your seller accepts returns, I was able to return the non-working board for a refund.)

Thank you Vitaliy for your help! I'll be recommending Good Guy Appliance to all my friends and family and will definitely call them for any future appliance repair needs.

I called Good Guy Appliance Service for a washer repair. Vitaliy came out for a service call the next day and was able to diagnose the issue in short order. Unfortunately the repair required uncommon parts that needed to be shipped in, so I was stuck without a washer for a few days. Once it came in, Vitaliy notified me and came out for another visit.

Vitaliy is an honest and knowledgeable professional. It seems he's trying to build a long term reputation. Doing it the old school way, with good quality work, reasonable price, and word-of-mouth (this review). I liken it to "that car mechanic" that you entrust to service your car on maintenance items over the life of the vehicle.

Another tip he gave me was to reach out the manufacturer about the broken part, since it was only a 2.5 year old part that should have lasted the life of machine. And the replacement part had been revised several times, so maybe a design flaw with the component. Well I took his advice and did just that, which resulted in the manufacturer offering partial compensation for the repairs.

If you're looking for appliance repair job, give them a call. He doesn't seem in the business of blindly replacing components at your cost and going through volume of service calls. IMO he fixed my appliance with same perspective and considerations as if I were doing it myself: cost, inconvenience, durability.
While I hope I never need another appliance repair, it's a statistical improbability that my appliances magically reach end of life without ever breaking. So I'm glad I won't have to roll the dice next time to find an appliance repairman.

Vitaliy came to my home today to convert my new dryer to propane. From the moment I called he was extremely customer oriented. He set an appointment for the next day during a time window that worked for me. He arrived right on time, came in, and made the switch in no time.
Before calling I had called a couple other appliance companies and one said they wouldn’t do a conversion, and another didn’t call me back for several hours to quote me double the price.

We will be keeping this number is our go to for any future repair needs.

They only sell and service. They don't sell parts as Google infers.
Neutral rating of 3 because i didn't use them.

Purchased a Bosch Benchmark induction range in December 2023. After the appliance failed, Bosch directed multiple service visits over approximately six months. Based on their technician’s diagnosis, I purchased a replacement control board. The appliance remained nonfunctional after installation and was ultimately declared irreparable.

Despite the failed Bosch-directed repair process and extended loss of use, resolution has been limited to a discounted replacement offer rather than full remediation.

Disappointed with how this situation was handled given the premium positioning of the Benchmark line.

I feel very fortunate that I luckily picked Constant Appliance in Poway to repair my Kitchen Aid refrigerator. The owner of this company is very competent and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to call him again for any repairs of my appliances.

Technician literally spent 10 minutes looking at what I told him another repairman already told me was broken. He said it would be $725 to fix. He wanted to charge me $458 for a $200 part and $220 labor for a $900 machine. I decided that was way too much so I was charged $90 for basically nothing.
