Constraction reviews in Ramona, California

It was an absolute pleasure working with Tony, Sandra and Jay. What a great team. They were recommended to us by our insurance guy and they are by far one of the most professional team we have worked with in a very long time. They arrived right on time, they cleaned and restored our 20 year old tiles beautifully and followed up with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Great company...fun people!

Sandra was very friendly and helpful setting up appointments for estimates and tile cleaning. She called and emailed all important information. Tony explained what the work entailed and gave us options for the outcome of our Saltillo pavers. He did and excellent job of cleaning and sealing our pavers. They look great now!

This company is a pleasure to do business with. Quick to respond to my inquiry and explain the process that I was wanting. We had our tile cleaned and grout color-sealed. It looks as good as the day we built the home. Tony, the owner is has years of experience and is very informative. Never tried to upsell other services. Jay, his assistant was also wonderful and hardworking. Sandra, his, wife is a jewel and will help with the scheduling and communication. You will love the results of your project, I’m sure! Definitely will use them again!!

Tony and Sandra were excellent in all respects. Our 20-year old marble floors and countertops look and feel like new. Excel Stone is very reliable and professional. I can highly recommend their work and quality.

Everything about my experience with Excel Stone and Tile Care has been fantastic! From the first phone call to admiring my newly polished granite, this company has been prompt, professional, trustworthy and affordable. I won't waste my time gathering bids anymore because I now have Excel Stone and Tile Care listed in my phone contacts. My kitchen and bathroom granite have an unbelievable shine after the steam cleaning, sealing and polishing service. I have and will continue to recommend this company to my friends. I sensed an old fashioned work ethic when I called to schedule an appointment. The waiting was minimal and the workmanship was beyond my expectation. Although the market may be competitive, quality of service always wins. Thank you Excel! I found a winner!!!

Sandra and Tony were such a pleasure to do business with. Very fairly priced. My stone, limestone and travertine in bathroom, and travertine floor in kitchen. ( Not my best choices) As you'd expect, there was staining. When Tony initially walked, he was honest. He wasn't sure if he would be able to get all the stains out. He was honest, and for an estimator, it was so refreshing. I understood he would do his best. He was right. The stains did not come out but were significantly lightened. But regardless, my tile and grout looked beautiful. And with the new caulk around the bathtub, it was perfect. Sandra in the office is FANTASTIC. Very easy to speak with and works with you. I will absolutely use this company again. Highly recommended.

Great Company! Enjoyed working with Tony and Sandra!! Had marble kitchen counter honed & sealed. With care, I think this restoration process will be a success.
Thank you so much 😊

Been working with Tony and Sandra at excel for a couple years now and they are consistently providing great customer service and results with all natural stone and tile. Highly recommend. A+

Excel Stone and Tile is amazing! We have used them for years and have never been disappointed.
Sandra is genuinely concerned about client tile and granite problems, and she works quickly and kindly to help get issues resolved.
Tony and his team do the physical work. They are always on time and take care to protect our home, laying tarps and doing a thorough cleanup. When they are finished, our tile counters, granite, and floors look brand new!
Excel Tile and Stone are exceptional, and Tony is an artist!

Tony polished my marble kitchen countertop that was dull and badly scratched, and it looks brand new! Also cleaned marble tile bathroom floors that I thought were a lost cause - amazing! Best stone cleaning company in the county.

The worst

Hands down the best. Does things the RIGHT way. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Hyper Construction.

Great work, fast, honest, and reliable. I will definitely be using them for all my landscaping and construction needs, as well as referring to all friends and family. Thanks Tim!

I DO NOT RECOMEND this contractor.
Last June Tim Gooden of Hyper Construction replaced a driveway at my house in Temecula. Shortly after the pour it began to crack. Not just surface cracks but cracks through the entire slab.
I notified him and he came to take a look. He promised to repair the driveway.
Now 7 months later and after multiple delays and no shows he ignores my text and calls completely.
I highly recommend not using Hyper Construction.

If you want somebody that is completely unreliable, this is your man, Tim Gooden. First impression is good and then it’s downhill from there. I accepted his initial bit of approximately $15,000 without even negotiating. From that point he failed to show up as promised on numerous occasions and would not even provide the courtesy of responding to texts or voicemails asking him when he would be showing up in the future. Eventually we were forced to go with another contractor. I suggest you save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. I also suggest you look at his Yelp reviews as I am certain that some or all of the other reviews listed here are not from actual customers.

Bill, the owner, is a nice man that will meet your project needs.
