I think, so far this is my favorite location.everyone there is nice, friendly and helpful, and they don't discriminate you for whom you are.

Called in looking for a replacement Halogen Bulb for a 30+ year old Christmas Display that is a keepsake by the family. They didn't have the bulb in stock but instead of telling me that and hanging up like another store I called the associate here, Rolando, helped point me in the right direction. The assistance is greatly appreciated and should be noted.

Went in from a recommendation from a nearby competitor that recommended Square-D panels for my project but did not have any themselves. Walked into tiny lobby and was greeted by a very friendly lady staff member.
I gave the overview of my project, and she said that she has only been on the job for about 3 months and so she'd retrieve someone 'with more experience' (her words).
From the moment the senior staff member entered the lobby and she directed him my direction, it was *immediately* clear that he did not want to help.
Asked him my first question about wire gauge recommendations, and he said he was unwilling to provide *any* recommendations. The previous place I was at said something similar stating fear of The State, but said so in a sympathetic & respectable manner. This guy was the opposite; he was arrogant, rude, and passive aggressive.
So I asked about conduit sizes. Where the previous shop gave me their opinion on the matter, this hostile just doubled down on his refusal to be of any use.
So I gave him one last chance. I was sent to *THIS* site to seek a subpanel I was previously recommend, so I asked him to tell me about is subpanels, again, and in his increasingly passive-aggressive habit, he refused.
For all his alleged 'experience', even a Home Depot newbie was more helpful than this guy whom probably still would barely & begrudgingly do his bare minimum job if a had a SKU list and exact change in cash (because he couldn't be bothered otherwise).
Exhausted with this clown, I dismissed him with without a word and headed out. In retrospect, I regret not thanking the lady for her attempt to help, but at the time, I was just trying to leave before I responded to aforementioned clown with something unkind but accurate & well deserved... -

We had both solar panels and a house fan installed. We are completely satisfied with the service and recommend JDC energy to anyone without any reservations.

Jorge was my technician. He didn’t an excellent job of explaining what he was doing. He was very courteous and extremely professional. I would recommend to anyone to ask for him for their next job. Great job, Jorge!

I was a bit scared about installing a solar system, because of a lot of unknowns about solar.
David made it very easy, to put my mind at ease.
He was very patient answering to all my questions, and I had a lot of them. Sorry David about it. They have also answered all of my questions very fast.
The install went very fast and smoothly, without any issues along the way. -
We were extremely happy with the electrician from JDC Energy. We had an electrical outage in the kitchen which affected the refrigerator and other appliances. The electrician showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing to find the problem. It was a process of elimination. He even had to go up in the attic. It turned out to be a loose wire in an outlet. The charges were very reasonable for a difficult job. We would definitely use this company again.

It's been a crazy Hot summer and I finally decided to get a whole house fan installed. These can really save on running the AC all night--so I have heard. Did some research, got a few quotes and I chose a QuietCool and had JDC Energy install it. Process was easy and all questions were answered up front. Price was reasonable--Might be able to do if your handy or feeling goo, but I didn't see the point. Jorge showed up on time (Early infact), did the check and gave me the green light. He got to work and within a 2 or 2.5 hour time frame he was done. Looks great, super quiet and I can feel air moving from any door or window in the house. Can't wait to use this tonight. Thank you JDC

I’m writing this review and trying to fair.
I hired JDC Energy Solutions to replace a whole house fan in my home.
I received a phone quote and the company sent their installer to review and confirm phone estimate.
The installer reviewed my home and added additional labor charges to frame for the fan, add drywall - patch, texture and paint. (they would be using the same location as our existing whole house fan which had an opening into the ceiling larger than the new fan - it would require aprox. 2 1/2 square feet of patch.)
I accepted the new bid and work was scheduled.
The first day of work - the installation employees were prompt and very friendly. The 2 worked for about 6 hours, they said they would return the next morning to sand, texture and paint.
This is where everything went south. The drywall work ended up looking really bad. When the employee returned in the morning - I had to ask if he had any drywall experience - his response was staggering “I’ve only worked on small holes in drywall, I told the owner I did not feel comfortable doing this job - he told me to give it a try”.
I stopped the work and contacting the office with my concerns - Which included the employees did not bring any painters tarps or plastic to protect my home. ( before calling JDC - I Also contacted a carpet cleaner getting a bid to clean my carpet- JDC agreed to subtract $175 because of the cleaning required.) Discussing the concerns with drywall- I was told their regular employee that worked on drywall was on vacation - and they would schedule him to come out when he returns from vacation the following Tuesday- Tuesday came - no call, I waited till Thursday afternoon and called to ask when I would be scheduled to complete work. Stating my frustration I was scheduled for the following week.
The employee showed up, reviewed work and stated all work would need to be redone including the framing. This employee worked approximately 6 hours and again finished saying he would return in 2 days to sand texture and paint ceiling.
OMG, his work on the drywall a bit better but just as troubling to me (photos show pictures from both 1st day and the second employees work)
I called another contractor to come out and review. This contractor stated he would also need to redo all work back to the framing to complete correctly. I sent his information to JDC along with video and pictures- they agreed to subtract another $300 for the contractors work, however once the work was started the 2nd contractor found additional issues where the ac duct work was damaged and the fan was not framed at all on one side.
I was told he would charge an additional $250 to correct the additional issues - JDC again agreed to subtract the new charges from the bill.
The job was completed by the second contractor- but I never heard from JDC Energy except to send me an updated bill.
Bottom Line - it’s ok to make a mistake, it’s what we do with mistakes that show others who we are - your responsibility was at the very least - call and say “sorry - it got away from us”
Which would have been enough, a reasonable person would acknowledge the error accept and appreciate your call and move on - because - at the end of the day - the job did get completed.
But you’ve lost my vote, when I wasn’t important enough for your 2 minute phone call.
Nov 4, let me add - the job was finished and everything was corrected by the 2nd contractor. The Quietcool 4.8 Stealth whole house fan has been a wonderful addition . Was on the fence because of the cost - but it has been an item we should have added years ago - a slight hum when fan runs (does not interfere with rest for either my wife or I. I would recommend the Quietcool fan addition to anyone - during the really hot days a month ago - the house was incredibly cooler by letting the Fan run early in the morning to bring the morning air in and we start again around 5 PM - 7PM to bring the early evening air in. Great addition 2 thumbs up!! -
I got a 240V 50A new circuit and NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in the garage for level 2 EV charging. JDC came to site survey, pull permit and finished up the project nicely and neatly in a timely fashion. I was kept informed along all steps. From David, Justin, AL and Shannon, all make me feel warm and respected. The cost is reasonable, the work quality is professional grade. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical project.

I had a whole house fan and solar panels installed. The fan was a simple one day affair, but they performed the task quickly and it ended looking and working great. It's to be expected, but they cleaned up after themselves as well.
The solar was a much longer process, but the representative at JDC helped me through the whole thing; providing documents to sign when needed and keeping abreast of what would be happening next and when it would occur. The actual installation was performed exactly as quoted, with the basic installation only taking a day (not including clean up/touch up). I was a bit concerned after the first day since it was a bit messy, but they came back and cleaned it up and now it really looks like a part of my house.
I would definitely hire them again. -
I had been considering installing a solar panel system to aid in the reduction of electricity and thus reducing my So Cal Edison Bill. My neighbor recently had solar panels installed in his home so I asked him who had done the work. He referred me to David Cobian, of JDC Energy Solutions.
Just after the 4th of July, I contacted David and we made an appointment for a consultation. He asked that I provide a copy of my electric bill prior to arrival so he could determine what kind of system was required for my house and my usage. David arrived on time on the given date and we sat and discussed my power needs, pricing, procedure and installation. I was impressed with the presentation. Straight facts, no pressure, suggestions and honest answers to my questions. After he was done I asked him for 24 hours to think it over. The next day I called David and said it was a go. Plans were drawn up and they pulled the permits with the City and within a couple of weeks I had people on the roof.
His installation crew was incredible! In 113 degree heat they were on the roof installing the rails and brackets and the next day installing the solar panels themselves and also replacing any roof tiles accidentally damaged during installation. His electrician was also the consummate professional working in 110 degree heat. Both the installers and electricians always seemed eager to teach me about Solar and always answered my questions. The bottom line is they did a great job and I have no complaints. On the test run, the system worked well and even with the AC on, I saw the meter going backwards.
I highly recommend JDC Energy Solutions to anyone considering Solar Panel installation. Their pricing is reasonable, the workmanship is professional and I am 100% satisfied. Keep up the good work guys! -
My solar company went out of business and I needed some work done on my system. I received my replacement parts from Enphase, and upgraded my system at the same time. JDC replaced all 26 microinverters and got all my panels working again without incident. Everyone from Anna in the office to Justin and his crew who came to my house were friendly and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The job was done on time and the work was good. I would absolutely use this company again.

We had a Quietcool Stealth Pro whole house fan installed. The whole process was extremely smooth. I cleared the floor and George laid out protective plastic on the floor and the nearby table. Installation went a little differently than planned but that was because the inspection wasn't done by installer (who carries the proper templates with him). Vent was positioned one rafter over and slightly off-center due to existing A/C vents. George, the installer, was very knowledgeable and polite, answering every question and concern I had.
Once installed, the system was tested and everything checked out. It's only been a week but I've enjoyed the pleasant breeze that this fan provides throughout the house...it's exactly what I was hoping for. We are finally able to draw in cooler late afternoon air to replace the hot stuffy air in our rooms. So far, very happy and would highly recommend this type of system and JDC Energy to provide and install.
