Reviews of local pros in Rancho Cucamonga, California

He came to my place but never followed up with me on when he was coming back. He never called me back. He is someone you can't count on.

Mr. Maciel did some excellent work for my neighbors some years ago, so I hired him to do some work for me. If you look at the quality of his block walls, iron gates, brick work and tree trimming, it's very clean and always straight and aligned. He also makes it a point to have his crew clean up after themselves which is an important part of their service. I definitely would recommend his services if you want good quality, high end block wall and brick work paving done.

I want to thank Robert Macial and Sons for the amazing work on my trucking yard. We decide to add a 6 foot brick wall to our commercial yard. After making few calls, I spoke with Robert, he seemed very knowledgeable and easy to communicate & work with. He also gave me the best price . Few weeks later we have a 200 foot of cynder block wall straight as a pencil. Also thank you for walking me trough the entire process and making your self available to answer all my questions .

Maciel Masonry recently put up new gates and rebuilt our block wall. We were very satisfied with work and they were very efficient and knowledgeable. Great family owned local business. We highly recommend

As many people that live in and around La Verne know, there was a terrible accident that happened in May 2022 that ruined our back retaining wall and part of our backyard.
Bob Maciel came out to my house as promised, and worked perfectly with my insurance company. Their work is neat and timely.
I chose Maciel Masonry because of their excellent and creative workmanship as well strong ethical values and reputation.
We are really looking forward to the finished product!
Bob and his sons, "Javier and Bob", are first class people and I highly recommend them!

Thank you,
Bill Henley

As a follow-up to my earlier review, Maciel Masonry did a great job when it comes to Masonry, however, the wrought iron work leaves much to be desired. It's borderline awful, The Wrought Iron work itself is shotty and bent with poor spacing in spots with incomplete welds. I would recommend Maciel Masonry for Masonry work, but would look elsewhere for the wrought iron work.
As the pictures below-show, they cracked the wall while installing it and now the Cinder block is split and falling apart. I have contacted Maciel Masonry and asked him if he would accept that type of work at his house, "a question I asked him over a month ago" These pictures are the same pictures I sent to Bob Maciel, I have not heard back.
Quote from Business owner'
"We specialize in concrete, glass, block, rod iron gates, retainer walls, decorative walls, and drought tolerant landscaping. MY SERVICES COME WITH THE PROMISE OF QUALITY, DEDICATION, AND DURABILITY"
There are many more items I could show, but I just took pictures of the very obvious stuff!
I would more than likely refer Maciel Masonry for Masonry work only!!!!
We are happy with the block retaining wall and the pavers. I am looking into replacing the wrought iron work, as it lacks the professional look I was expecting based on Mr. Maciel's presentation. I doesn't meet our expectations, and we don't think it would meet yours.

Mr. Maciel is a great business owner, his quote was competitive, he was always on time, he truly has passion for his work, his family and cares about his customers! Our wall needed to be repaired after a neighbor crashed into it, he was patient with us while waiting on the insurance company and as promised, as soon as we were ready he saw to it that the job was done in a timely manner. In addition to that, we called him two separate times regarding an issue with our sprinklers that we thought might have been due to the work done. He came out both times to take a look and fixed the problem even though it wasn't his responsibility. Mr. Maciel is a man of respect and integrity! I would hire him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him, you won't be disappointed. Mindy and Alex Callahan

I am a General Contractor and have been using Robert and his sons for decades. If you want Masonry work done right call these guys. If you want your yard to look amazing call these guys. They can do the most complicated block walls, paver jobs ...ect.

Bob and his sons do exemplary work. The estimate was competitive. the work was excellent and the job was done in a timely manor. The gate was beautifully done and installed well. My wife and I are looking at having more work done in the near future. Maciel Masonry will be my only call. I highly recommend Bob and his sons, (Javier and Bob), if you want excellent work done, in a timely manor, by professionals who are kind and have a strong work ethic.

I NEEDED HELP!
My wooden gates had termites and the stones on my retaining wall were beginning to fall off. I needed to clean up the appearance of my backyard. So, after calling a few masonry contractors and a few who could replace my wooden gates with iron ones, I found Bob Maciel of Maciel Masonry, who’s company could do both. Also, his estimate was reasonable.
First, let me say, I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and communication skills he must have to decipher my needs, wants and the aesthetics I was looking for. Bob gave me choices of color and texture for my new gates. He let me know when the work would be done and called me with updates on the progress.
Secondly, was my retaining wall with stones that had fallen away from the cinder blocks. That was especially challenging, because he had no extra stones. He had to figure it out like a puzzle. This man’s attention to detail and quality of work made me a believer in a man of his word. I can’t say enough about his masonry ability, experience, skills and artistry.
Lastly, Bob’s timeliness was only outdone by his work ethic and quality of the finished product. I am so pleased! I have already recommended him to family and friends. I would absolutely hire Bob Maciel and his company, Maciel Masonry, again.

Marco’s and his crew are the best workers I have ever hired. He is very particular, hard worker, very thorough 10 star work and very friendly. They spent 2 days at my property doing yard and gardening clean up he Does what he says he’ll do and more. Never seen someone work this hard. If I could give him 10 STARS, I would!!! What a great experience working with him. THANK YOU MARCO. Wow

Awesome group of workers. Did exactly what they said they would do and quickly. Cleaned up our 1/4 acre back yard and hauled away in 2 days. Excellent communication and pricing. Can’t say enough about the attention to detail they provided. Weed clean up, leveling, slope clearance, hedge and tree trimming. Owner is great to work with.

I highly recommend Ready2List Residential Clean-Ups! They did an outstanding job removing my above-ground spa. The crew was professional, courteous, and worked efficiently from start to finish. They left the area clean and made the entire process stress-free. It's hard to find companies that show up on time and do exactly what they promise, but Ready2List exceeded my expectations. If you need junk removal, demolition, or property clean-up services, give them a call—you won't be disappointed!

Awesome person to work with. Knowledgeable of his job. Shares with others. I will recommend him 💯 %

Marcos and his crew Went above and beyond the original scope of work. Marco is extremely meticulous, and his team are some of the hardest workers. I’ve had the pleasure of hiring. They did an outstanding job with my yard cleanup and Junk Removal project, paying attention to every detail and leaving everything looking great.

I would hire them again without hesitation – 1000 times over. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but Marcos and his crew truly deserve the recognition. Thank you, Marcos and crew, for an outstanding job!

I recently hired Ready2List Residential Clean Ups on very short notice, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. The team was punctual, professional, and extremely thorough in their work. They paid close attention to detail and left every area they worked on exceptionally clean.

I had just moved and had extra furniture that was essentially junk. I contacted Markos to see what his rates were. Not only was he very affordable, but he was at my house that evening collecting the items. He loaded it all into his truck and hauled it away for me. It was super easy and convenient. And he was extremely friendly. I’d definitely contact him again!
