We have been using Hotshot Chimney Sweep since we moved to the mountains over 5 years ago. The technicians are always professional, always courteous. Pricing is affordable. Recommendations for things that need to be addressed are honest. I highly recommend this team to take care of your chimney cleaning as this is so important if you use your fireplace frequently during the year or even semi regularly.

I chose this company because of all the good reviews. My experience was very different than that of those reflected in all the positive reviews. I ordered a level 2 inspection because I am preparing to sell my house. Once the inspection was done, I waited to receive the report. After a few days I still hadn't received the report but had gotten an estimate that said I needed $5000 in repairs done. Before I would move forward with the estimate, I wanted to see the report with any photos/videos. I asked repeatedly for my inspection everyday for at least a week until I finally gave up. Each time I was told a different version of how they would get me the report but it never came. Finally my realtor's husband came and looked at the chimney for me because I had told him the estimate I received said that it would cost $5000 to repair. He is a retired contractor of 40 years that worked specifically in the real estate construction realm and is very knowledgeable. His findings were very different. I did not need $5000 in repairs. He found a couple of minor issues that he easily repaired that cost me $250. Needless to say I am not happy at all with how things went with this company. So beware. Reviews aren't always a reflection of how your experience will be.
