Our patio cover blew off in the recent storm in our Pine Flat Lake home. Decker Patio and Awning came right out in person for an estimate, which another company would not do. We are so glad we chose Decker--they have been putting up patio awnings since they were 14 working for their dad many years ago. It was obvious in their careful workmanship that they are experts in their field. Reliable, great price, and were finished in three days. The patio cover is grey and white and looks beautiful. Excellent structure and they adhered to all codes for safety and permanency. We recommend them highly! What a stroke of luck!

This is in response to her response to my review.
It was ALWAYS up in the air if you would manage the project or not. At our initial meeting you said you COULD manage the project and that you had ideas of what contractors to use.
The designs you came up with WERE beautiful. But during our second meeting when I had concerns about designs such as storage and open shower you were very dismissive.
I wrote that email because I am always nice and respectful when working with others. I didn't want you to feel bad. But you forgot to include your reply and then the email I wrote responding about what changes I wanted made and you responded that we should move forward with someone else. You did say you could "redo the plans" but I did not have another $400 for that.
Honestly, you have great ideas. And I have no problem paying for a service. I had an issue feeling like I wasn't being heard about the designs of my own bathroom. If someone wants to hire someone to do it all and they don't care about the result. You're the perfect person. If someone wants to have input about the project- they should go elsewhere

These guys are top notch! They did an outstanding job on our front walkway and back patio covers 5+ years ago - the covers look as great now as they did when first installed. The brothers work well together and have a fastidious eye and every slat is perfect! I wish they did vinyl fencing too as I'd have them back in a heartbeat! Thanks Decker Patio & Awning!

I found Graced Designs through my sister, when she was looking for a designer for her Airbnb property. I was a bit anxious consulting with a designer that had barely any yelp reviews. But I figure that any designer must start somewhere.

On the phone, Malia was very warm and personable. We made an appointment to meet in person and talk about ideas. In the very first few minutes of our meeting, she already made me look at my space in a whole different way.

I was only looking to consult for my living room, but she gave me insight on different parts of my house. It was eye-opening to me how she saw my space. She explained to me why I should consider setting up my office in a different part of the house based on the layout of the rooms, how I might want to draw attention to my vertical space and how certain colors enhance and balance out others. And all of this within minutes of looking at my space.

She was also very organized: she had me fill out a worksheet that asked about my color preferences and styles I connected with.

Since I haven't worked with a designer before, I was apprehensive about being able to convey to her what I saw in my mind's eye. The next day, she sent me sample pictures and asked me how I felt about each one: what I liked about it and what didn't work for me. The sample pictures she showed me convinced me that she knew the feel and style that I was going for.

Malia responds quickly to texts, especially when I am out and about shopping for items and asking her if it all goes together. Much more than designing my living room, she is educating me on how to look at my space differently. Also, she is opening up a new world of colors, patterns and designs that are outside my comfort zone. When I look at her design board, I recognize why I needed her to show me other iterations of my color and style choices. Left on my own, I would stick with the tried and true and predictable. But her spec sheets show me different possibilities that cover my comfort level from the safe and timid to bolder versions.

I know that once the project is done, it will be a true reflection of my personality and style.

Even if you feel that you don't need an interior designer, I think that a consultation with Malia is still very educational. If you are looking for an interior designer, Malia will bring your design vision to the next level.

My husband and I hired Decker Patio & Awning to add a 50x15 patio cover. We are so very pleased with the finished product! They were professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. Our neighbors came over to see what an exceptional job they did, and am sure they will receive more requests for their skills. The entire job was complete on the date they estimated and their prices were very reasonable.

I recommend them to anyone who wants a quality, attractive patio cover. The guarantee is fabulous.

Malia of Graced Designs has been an amazing partner in making my restaurant dream come true. I found her here in Yelp and was hesitant since she does not have a review yet. I sent her a message and she replied in a matter of minutes. We set a meeting and the rest is history.
Our restaurant is called Boba Silog located in Fresno, it is now open and operational with Malia's help. Through her I was connected with amazing people who helped with electrical, construction, HVAC, plants, etc. Malia understands my vision and she was able to deliver it on schedule and on budget. When faced with difficult situations, Malia was able to think outside of the box and comes up with solutions. She communicates well and explains the whole process. She is a great partner in such a stressful process.

We found Malia with Graced Designs as we started out a huge renovation job to open our professional office center. She has been AMAZING to work with! She listened to our thoughts and goals, and completely captured our vision of our center and made it possible. Our space was a maze of ugly wallpaper, weird hallways, 5 different styles of design, and no ADA. I don't know how she saw beyond all that, and completely transformed it to the stunning space it is today. You can see the transformation on her Instagram. Every part of the way, Malia was professional, went the extra mile, accommodated our needs and timelines, and remained gracious and kind throughout our year long project. Jonathan and his brother recently finished my 10x20 standard aluminum patio and it looks fantastic. I shopped around for the best price but didn't want to skimp on the quality. The Decker brothers did a wonderful job and finished the project in less than two days. Final cost beat everyone else in town and they even threw in fan installations. Highly recommended.

I contracted with Decker Patio and Awning in March 2015 to build a screened in porch on the back of my home in Clovis, CA. As of this date, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The following is the reason why.
During the construction phase, I noticed that their workmanship and attention to details was lacking. They always left the job site a mess which meant I had to clean up after them.
After completing the project, I've had to have them come back many times to repair their construction work. Each time they returned, it seemed like I was inconveniencing them. Finally after numerous efforts to fix their work I thought all was finished. Until I noticed that all the screens install in the porch structure were either coming loose or separating from the aluminum channels. I called again and asked them to determine what was happening. They said that the screens installed were the wrong type and all of them would have to be replaced. During this period of time, I suggested that to insure a stronger structure that by adding an extra channel between the upper and lower screens would help strengthen the structure. They either didn't know how to make the supports for didn't want to take the time to make the additional structurally sound. I ended up having to build the supporting components myself to make this retrofit work.
After installing the new screen, by the way which was done by an outside contractor, this contractor stated that the existing screen material were of poor quality and suitable for this type of structure. I would never recommend them to anyone.
