We hired Mor about a month ago to fix a jammed shower door at our rental property. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

First, he changed the appointment time and still arrived late. When he arrived at the property, my tenant’s wife was present, and he called me to explain that the repair would be complicated. He said he might need to take the shower door apart and warned there was a risk the glass could break. I explained that the door was old and that we would be willing to replace it if necessary. He then advised that repairing it would save money and quoted $400, which I agreed to based on his recommendation.

However, about 10 minutes later, he informed me that the job was already completed and asked me to send payment while he waited outside the property. Since I was not on-site and relied on his professional judgment, I paid him immediately via Zelle.

Afterward, I requested a receipt. He said he would send it over the weekend, but I did not receive anything until I followed up multiple times. When I finally received the receipt, it did not indicate that the payment had been made. I asked him to update it to reflect “paid,” but instead of addressing the request, he blocked my phone number.

We chose him based on positive online reviews, but this experience raises serious concerns about pricing transparency and professionalism. Charging $400 for what appeared to be a very quick fix, combined with poor communication and lack of proper documentation, was disappointing.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this handyman.
