La Economica is top notched. I asked them to weed out my 1000 square foot front xeriscaped yard and clean all the leaf debris off my roof. They knocked it out in less than 2 and a 1/2 hours. I could not be more pleased. Talk to Melvin. He'll get you set up for a very reasonable cost.

Lots of reasons to utilize Melvin and his crew. First of all, Melvin was very responsive from the initial contact that I made over Yelp, down to any/all texts my husband and I sent him during the project. We just happened to have the yard already cleaned out and just needed landscaping completed. Melvin came out to conduct a walk through and then provide a quote. And it just so happened that they were able to work and complete all in one day.
My not so great Spanish came in handy, but Melvin was also just fine communicating in English with my husband.
We would totally recommend to others looking for yard services of any type. Since the business is listed in Richmond, being local was also a huge plus for us.

Hired Melvin and his crew to remove a couple stumps in our front yard. They were quick and did a great job! As I wasn’t home at the time, he sent me pictures of everything, which was much appreciated.

First time I've ever used a tree service, a while back a storm blew off two branches from our trees. Upon contacting Melvin and his crew, they gave us a reasonable estimate of how much it would cost to remove the debris, cut some trees, and trim an existing one at a good price. They were always punctual and responsive about any issues that arose, which gave me peace of mind. If you're looking for tree services that are professional, responsive, and careful of your property these guys are the way to go. I'd highly recommend their services if I ever need anything else done~

Melvin and his team were super efficient Absolutely loving the landscaping job and the full privacy fence! They transformed my front yard and added major curb appeal to my home. The team was very friendly, got everything done on time, cleaned up after all the work was done! They even trimmed a very tall tree in the back yard in a matter of hours. The end result is 5-star worthy, definitely will rehire them for future projects! Highly recommend!

Melvin was very responsive and we were able to schedule a time shortly after I contacted him. Two member of his team came and spent 2 hours doing cleanup and trimming. They worked consistently and effectively, cleaning up well after before leaving. I’m very happy with their work and I plan on using them on a regular basis.

Melvin and company are excellent. They got my business because they were quickest to respond. And now that I have used their services they will have my business going forward. They cleared a huge pile of construction debris just before the storm. I waited until the last minute to call thinking that no one would be willing to show up at a moment’s notice. But Melvin took it all away and I am so happy right now. And he did it all at a price I could afford. I plan to have him and his crew remove a tree next.

Home Maintenance had fallen off in recent years around my house I got a hold of these gentlemen and they did a wonderful repair and clean up around my house I highly recommend them prices are very reasonable

I chose La Economica because of the rave reviews and photos. They did not disappoint. Melvin was fast to respond to my messages, and thoughtful in helping me decide what to do within my budget. His team arrived and finished the job on time, and most importantly, did great work. I will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them.

We've been using this company for basic yard maintenance for a while. So we asked them to quote for a larger project that involved renovating our front and back yard with new mulch, installing new wood edging, power washing our brick patio, fixing uneven bricks, and adding a paved area for our dog. They performed all the work on time as agreed at the quoted pricing. We're happy with their services and would recommend them.

I’ve been using this company for a number of jobs. They were pretty consistent with quality and cost. This last time they did not perform good quality work, left dead leaves, did not groom the bushes, and skipped an entire side of the yard. They demanded additional hours after they inspected the yard and wouldn’t even fix the part of the yard that they charged me for.

If you have options go with another company as the owner doesn’t value customers and is worried about short-term vs longterm customer loyalty and value.

Joey came up with a great design based on our ideas, and Melvin (and the guys) saw it through to perfection. Best of all, our front lawn looks beautiful!
