No metal recycling, no bulbs, no batteries - guy instructed us to throw our recycling into the general waste. Guy instructed us to throw our electronic items into general waste. California the green state, what is going on?

Easy in, easy out. They don't handle your dump card anymore. They scan it through the window.

Great dump. The staff is always very nice and helpful. Tip... If you come right before closing they'll usually help you unload!

UPDATE: Property owners must apply through SB County Public Works Dept. for an exemption to use the dump. Otherwise, Burrtec will charge for trash service on your property address—even if you are not using the service. There are requirements to get the exemption and there are other restrictions.
